First - strange name. The people at the front desk during the day hours were very helpful and they helped us get a very early check in. Night time guy - don’t bother him. The moldings around many of the doors on our floor were coming off. The lighting system requires you to put your key card in a contraption at the door for the lights to work. The shower barely fits a person and it’s very noisy when you invariably hit the surround. Oh, no wash cloths. The walls are paper thin though generally the place was quiet overall. You cannot adjust the heat in the room. They set it for the whole property. It was very warm. The elevator could only house 2 people. And 2 pieces of luggage. None of this would keep me from staying there again though. Wi-Fi was good. Did not try breakfast so can’t say but there are a number of Cafe/bars within 1-2 minutes. It’s a 3 star European hotel. It meets those criteria. It’s fine.

The only thing nice about the place was Davide, front desk. Cleaning staff did a good job. Washrooms are extremely small. Elevator was mostly out of use. We were on 5th floor and walked up and down all the time.

The hotel description said it had air conditioning. The room was very stuffy with no air circulation at all. When I asked the front desk, he said heat had been turned off and they were not ready for the temperature to rise so early in the year and that the technician hadn’t yet come to turn on the AC! He told us to open the window! Our room was on the first floor overlooking a very busy and noisy street and we needed to close the window in the night to keep out the noise. I asked for a fan, and they didn’t have one either. Spent 3 uncomfortably hot nights in the room. Another issue is that one had to climb 5 steep steps to get to the elevator, which is so tiny. A lady in a wheelchair and a family with an infant, had to leave the wheelchair and stroller in the common area of the hotel lobby! Unacceptable! The hotel needs to specify that it is NOT handicap accessible! My 80 year old friend who walks with a cane found it hard to climb those 5 steps in the lobby before you could get to the elevator, besides having to lug the suitcase up there too! Overall very disappointing stay in King Mokinba hotel.

The service and hotel is actually great, location is fantastic walkable to the major things you wanna see. The only down side is that the lift is tiny (which they can't help) and the bed mattress is sagging (now this needs replacing) that I woke up with sore back.

La habitación está muy bien. Sin embargo, hay mucha información incorrecta y falsa en la página del hotel. Pone que el check-in es hasta las 00.00h. Llegamos a las 23h y el hotel estaba cerrado. Por suerte otro huésped nos dejó entrar y la persona de recepción ya se iba y de forma muy mala dijo que no nos hacía el check-in qué recepción ya había cerrado. Nos dió la llave de la habitación y se fue del hotel, sin hacer un check-in. También pone que tienen parking fuera del hotel por 30€. No es un parking suyo, sino un parking público de pago de la ciudad que cuesta 39€ y está a 15min andando del hotel.

This is not a four star by any means. no coffee in room, one elevator broken other is slow, AC and fan disabled and no small room fans, mosquitoes through open window so bring itch cream, breakfast was good, tv didn’t work well as it was pixelating, weak water pressure. Not unusual for European hotel but hotel ratings need to change.

Hotel muy bien situado. Sin parking. 40€ de parking por 24h. No comimos en el hotel. Mejor alrededores. Habitacion amplia, limpia, vistas agradables pero muchoooooo calor en la habitación y no se puede graduar? Es central y muchooooooo ruido por qie el balcon da a calle y estan los coches y el tranvía. Ubicacion estupenda!. Hotel para salir del paso. Pero en invierno no repito. No dormimos por el calor. Todo lo tienes al lado caminando.

Gammalt hotell med nyrenoverade rum och ändå var det en hel del trasigt som att filtret i blandaren lossnade när man spolade vatten, handtaget till minikylen trasigt, proppen i handfatet trasigt mm. Annars bra avstånd till stan och till restauranger.

The rooms are very small. There are no amenities (kleenex shampoo) only a soap. Shower is very unconfortable, door is 45 cms so an overweight person wont fit in. Smaller than a cruise. The hotel is very chic and location is perfect. 3 blocks to Duomo. 4 blocks to train and subway. And a lot of dining options.

We enjoyed our stay but believe that noice from rooms next door was not good. Next door they watch movie and we could hear everything. Bathroom is very small and shower so small that almost could but turn myself. Further the location is close to center which is convenient

We found the hotel easily and it was very well situated close to the city centre and Parco Sempione. The room was sufficiently big for three people and the bathroom nice and clean. The bed was, in my opinion, a bit hard and short. I'm not extremely tall 168 cm, but my feet reached outside of the end of the bed.

Our room was perfect for a couple traveling for a short stay. The shower definitely is on the smaller end. Very easy access to/from train station. Google walk was able to get us to the hotel in a matter of 10 minutes walk. The location is also within 10 min to the duomo and shopping. We are at a really nice place called slow sud https://slow-sud.it/ristoranteasole/ Authentic Italian food for a great price. Front staff will be available all day until 9-10pm. If you have to checkout early make sure you get it done day before. We were able to stop a taxi and as we were heading to the train station. The hotel was nice and very clean. If you need a larger shower you may need to inquire that before your stay. The hotel also offers taxi pick up from the airport at an extra charge of $30 euros.

I find it hard to believe this hotel is a 4 star hotel. The rooms were small and relatively shabby. The air conditioning did not work, so the room was painfully warm (and it wasn't a particularly warm day in the city). We also had trouble getting consistent hot water in the shower. To top it off, there was a mosquito in the room. I can't say the staff was much better either. The team refused to help us pre-book a cab (trying to instead get us to use the hotel's transfer at a much higher rate than a normal cab) and was generally unhelpful.

The hotel is near the atractiva that I w antes to see. The room was little, like most on Europe, but clean and had everything we needed. The employees were polite and helpful. The only thing is they need more, the ones that work at the front desk sometimes are the only ones there. A couple of times I arrived at night and there was no one at the front desk, probably the employee was attending other chores. But we had a great stay there.
The hotel is near the atractiva that I w antes to see. The room was little, like most on Europe, but clean and had everything we needed. The employees were polite and helpful. The only thing is they need more, the ones that work at the front desk sometimes are the only ones there. The staff at Mokimba was excellent! David at the receptionist desk was outstanding! When our original transportation at 5am was cancelled a few hours before our departure, David took care of everything. He stayed beyond his shift end time of 11pm till 5am to ensure we would have a taxi at 5am to take us to the airport. I was shocked by his incredible service! I would stay at Mokimba again because of the excellent staff! The neighborhood was safe and was within walking distance for the metro and the Duomo.

Upon arrival I was informed that they had a plumbing issue and would be moving me to another hotel 20 min away. This was 20 min in the opposite direction I needed to be. They did not offer transportation and told me to just walk back to the train station and buy another ticket to get to the other hotel. When I asked if they would provide a discount or transportation, they were suddenly able to give me a room. Once i accessed my room, i noticed that the air conditioning did not work. They told me it was turned off for the entire building. The street was too loud to leave the window open while sleeping. Considering AC was one of my requirements when booking, it was disappointing. There is no complementary coffee, water or toiletries. They had a hand soap dispenser in the shower with only hand soap. The staff was friendly. You could have the same experience at a hostel for a fraction of the price. I would not stay again.

La habitación está muy bien. Sin embargo, hay mucha información incorrecta y falsa en la página del hotel. Pone que el check-in es hasta las 00.00h. Llegamos a las 23h y el hotel estaba cerrado. Absolutely terrible, very surprised that Expedia rated this a four star. Expedia - please review this. Hotel was well placed, walkable to good interest points. Staff very not helpful, they did not help with basic questions. Property is very dated. Room keys were a big issue, we were only given one room key per room despite booking 2 triple rooms. Were told that we had to manage the one key between occupants! Also tried to change us for another key to use! Asked for use of an umbrella, told they had one but it was broken! No English tv channels, but they insisted there were but then wouldn't help us. When we tried to contact them after our stay to discuss with management the issues we had, we were told to message their main inbox where messages are filtered! The list goes on unfortunately.

We found the hotel easily and it was very well situated close to the city centre and Parco Sempione. The room was sufficiently big for three people and the bathroom nice and clean. The bed was, in my opinion, a bit hard and short. I'm not extremely tall 168 cm, but my feet reached outside of the end of the bed.

The service and hotel is actually great, location is fantastic walkable to the major things you wanna see. The only down side is that the lift is tiny (which they can't help) and the bed mattress is sagging (now this needs replacing) that I woke up with sore back.
