A good hotel in a great location, close to the Duomo and the Metro. The breakfast was basic but very good quality and the rooms comfortable and clean. I would stay again if I return to Milan

The best thing about Hotel Rio is it’s location. You walk out the front entrance, turn left, go about 60-70 meters and your at the Duomo square and the entrance to the metro station.

I loved the location! The property is run down !!! My “room” was a closet. My “bed” was more like cot and not even twin size. The toilet is located within inches of the sink. If you are average sign person - you may not be able to sit on the toilet. The free breakfast … skip it ! Wi-Fi worked in the lobby only. “ supposedly , they are upgrading the WiFi. The staff was helpful. I wouldn’t recommend this “hotel”. It’s more like a run down rooming house.
