We did a midnight checkin on out 1/2 way point from Jersey to Florida. I called ahead to let them know we would be late and we had no issues. My son used the gym and we had breakfast on the way out. Breakfast is typical, hot pancakes ( from their machine) scrambled eggs and sausage , bagels, toast, yogurt and cereal. We had no issues with noise. Yes there were train tracks adjacent, but never heard or saw one during The ten hours we were there.

Loved the life-supporting layout. Clean and simple rooms, great gym and chillaxing areas, Constant coffee/hot water bar and water bottle filler. Local happenings on bulletin board outside elevator. All the little things that matter, with no BS. Just what you need and friendly staff available when you need them.

Overall it was a great stay, very clean, super friendly staff. Alittle upset about the indoor pool heater not working considering this was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. The staff was nice about it and compensated us for it. Wish we would have known in advance.

Facility was clean and the parking lot was nicely lit and freshly paved. Wasn't a fan of there being no ice machines on the floor. Had to go to the lobby to get ice.

The staff was friendly, the maintenance outside the building were well maintained. The breakfast is mid. The room is cute but the floor around the bed was dirty as if he hasn’t been mop in days. Around the toilet had old urine all around the bottom of it and on the floor. I had to lay all the towels down to avoid stepping on it. The cleanliness of the room needs work. The hotel is in good condition.

My only objection was I spilled something on the floor and when I used a washcloth to clean it up the washcloth was horribly dirty. I was so happy there was no carpeting until this happened.

The staff was great but the room was so dirty, there was spills of liquid all over and sticky! The bed looked like it had been wet multiple times, sheets were dirty! The shower was pink around the bottom which is a sign of mold and the house keeper not even cleaning! As much as this cost and to be so disgusting I will never recommend this place!

Unfortunately the room was so filthy. We checked in and left about 4 hours later. I did not want my dog on the floor, the bathroom was so gross and under the mattress was so dirty. There were multiple hairs in the bed. I wonder if it was really cleaned 😬

Very clean and modern. The refrigerator did not have a freezer and there wasn’t a coffee maker in the room. It was a bit more expensive than the Comfort Suites next door, which does have these items. We stayed at Tru on a drive south to Florida and had ice packs we were using for food-hence why we were disappointed no freezer. Otherwise, the beds were SUPER comfortable!!!!

The air conditioning in our room was soooo loud when it turned on that it woke us up every time. Not a good rest after a 12 hour drive. We have stayed at TRU several times along our east coast drives with no issues at all. I think our room was 325 in Fayetteville SC

Reception wasn't great, like I usually receive at a Hilton property. The lady behind the counter couldn't find my reservation, then she said I only booked one room when I clearly booked two rooms. I asked for adjoining rooms or to be near one another, I was given a room on the 3rd and 5th floors. Definitely not near one another.

From the first second we walked in we were met with amazing customer service. The front desk attendant, sarah, was amazing. Not only where we met with a smile but were processed through check-in without any delay. Excellent customer service clean room and easy access to our vehicle. 10 out of 10!

The front desk attendant was excellent. Her name is Stevie and she was very sweet. She Offered my dog a treat but when I told her he doesn't eat those snacks only bananas or broccoli... She went and got him a banana from the breakfast bar. She made our stay special. Thanks Stevie!

I was awakened at midnight with a phone call from the desk, asking for my name. What the hell! Next day, I went to the desk for an explanation. I was told that I had been given the wrong room! When I tried to call the manager, I was not able to even leave a message….mailbox full. I would never stay at TRU AGAIN!!!!

Great stay! The evening reception was rude, the person ignored me until they were done with whatever they were doing on the computer and outright asked “last name?” And nothing else. So the welcome was lacking but the morning ladies were very nice.

The 1st stay the front desk person was very unfriendly and rude I decided to give it another chance and the front desk person this time was chatting with a co-worker or friend and ignored me when I was checking in. We loved the hotel, it’s very sleek and modern looking. The room is basic but very nice and the shower was just wonderful. I do think the staff that worked during the breakfast could have been friendlier. Overall we’d stay there again. One thing though, there’s a train track right in front of the hotel and the train horn was very loud during the night!!

There was no coffee when we came down for breakfast which started at 7! I think that is too late especially when we wanted to get on the road to drive home. Other hotels around breakfast started at 6. There was empty beer boxes. The room was clean!

Very modern and minimalistic hotel. TVs were nice. Bathroom was nice. Room was clean. Sheets weren’t felt a little rough. Staff was friendly. Breakfast should be improved. Not many options. Eggs were gritty. Pancake machine had unclear directions. Would be nice if they offered biscuits and gravy. Overall, I would stay again.

The gentleman that was on front desk was amazing , friendly, helpful. He later came to our room to help us out with TV. He was great …One thing , in talking with kitchen staff and front desk , there is not milk at breakfast for cereal ???? That doesn’t seem possible but was told that the kitchen does not get what is ordered. But no milk at breakfast, come on .

Overall stay was satisfactory and meet basic needs; bathroom walls could use a scrub; but the shower pressure was amazing; breakfast pancake machine was out the second day which was unfortunate since it was operating the day before and a great add to the breakfast selection.
