The view from our room was best part of our stay. The beds were comfortable and room spacious enough. And the pool was heated. A big plus. Although convenient to places to eat and shop, it means traffic. Parking comes with a fee which others do not. Overall though it was a good place to stay.

Beautiful new hotel, located across the street from St. John’s Town Center. Free breakfast, heated pool, and bar open in the afternoon/evenings. Check out is at 12pm, which is nice. We will definitely stay here again!

This is our second time staying at this Hyatt Place. It is conveniently located at St. John’s. Staff are very courteous and friendly. Breakfast has a great variety, and healthy options. Parking can be a little hard in the weekends but manageable. Rooms are decent and beds are as well. My husband used the gym and he was pleased with the options. The pool was great as well.

A very nice place to stay if you are in town for an event near Maggiano’s. There’s a nice sitting area behind the hotel that overlooks a lake with lots of seating. Pool is also very nice. Good showers and comfortable.

Checking in was a 40 minute process, I was ignored when I first arrived. The staff seem to be overwhelmed by the phone calls coming in and NO time for the person in front of them. One of the two elevators were inoperable, lounge area was dirty and sitting areas were dirty and soiled. The pool heater was inoperable which made our stay less happy and the kids were disappointed. Our room had an odor coming from the sink, we had to place a towel over it during our stay. Web site pics look great but the hotel itself is not what we expected, and to make things worse we paid for parking. Not staying here next time we visit Jacksonville

Loved the boutique feel of the property, larger rooms, convenient location. Only thing I was sad about was that the pool was closed for maintenance, which is one of the reasons I booked the hotel.

Very clean hotel close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. Stay here often for work travel. Check in/out is usually a slow process but the hotel itself is a good location so it’s worth it.

Friendly, helpful staff. Overall cleanliness was appreciated. I don’t know if it was because I was in and out more than usual or not, but I’ve never had a hotel stay where housekeeping knocked on the door asking if we wanted our room cleaned each day we were there.

The hotel was clean and in a great location. However, we found hair o the sleeper sofa sheets indicating the sheets hadn't been washed. There was also candy and wrappers under the bed.

Everything was great. Fast check in, great location, great price, pretty much everything you can ask for except…. The bathroom in the room smelled like some pissed everywhere and it wasn’t cleaned. I ended buying my own bleach to spray and clean up to get rid of that smell

There was a $50 charge that I was not aware of prior to arriving and a parking fee that I was not aware of till arriving!!!! There was long dark hair on all the clean towels, in the shower, and on the floor. There was food crumbs and a hair tie in the bed....

The water view was very nice. The woman who worked at the bar/starbucks in the evening was the best! Room was good. Could have used a microwave. Side tables are small; my CPAP had to sit on the floor. Bathroom was on the small size. Water pressure was so-so. I like stronger. When you turn water off it dripped onto a metal drain making an annoying noise.

It was a comfortable stay, but an air conditioner failure forced a room change, and the phone in this room did not work. The hotel has the advantage of having a secure parking lot in front of the property. And a lake behind the hotel that adds incredible beauty. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the beds quite comfortable. The first bathroom was my preference (with a walk-in tub), I prefer it without a tub. The location of the hotel is excellent, in front of the St. John's TownCenter shopping center, and there are 3 good restaurants within walking distance.

The parking lot for hotel is tricky at first. Best to check in first in order to get parking/room key as that’s the only way to enter parking lot. Hotel updated and clean. Beds are soft and non lumpy. Pillows are soft and fluffy. Rooms are nice size. No microwave.

Amazing hotel. Prime location. Food and shopping everywhere. Staff was very friendly. Housekeeping lady kept checking with us if we needed anything at all. Breakfast was nice and had good choice. Q: why was there are film on the window of our room. Would have loved to see out. Felt like a detention room. We were 4 people and one room saved us money. Pullout sofa bed was useful and comfortable. Varnada facing the lake was very relaxing.

One day trip to Jax, FL to celebrate a cousin's birthday and upon arrival our party was assisted at check-in by a man, who we later found out was the manager, who was the most unprofessional, condescending, rude, and obnoxious person I have ever encountered when checking into a hotel. He debated me on my registration which was for 2 rooms but he only had me down for one and after seeing my registration rather than say that one of the hotel staff cancelled the room in error, he proceeded to blame me for reserving through a third party. He slammed a note pad when I asked for his name, threatened to cancel our reservation, slammed the 2nd room key and my cousin's ID and was overall a complete jerk who accepted no responsibility for his behavior or an apology for how we, "guest" was welcomed. Guaranteed to be my last time ever stepping foot in this establishment. On a better note, the room was both clean and comfortable.

We show up to the hotel and check in seems normal until we go up to our room. We can hear a baby crying in the room and the keys won’t work, so we go back down. Turns out they double booked our room. They apologize and give us a key to another room which also ended up being occupied. They explain that the hotel is fully booked and come to find out whoever was working earlier in the day was just giving out rooms and not making guests go to their assigned room. Very frustrating. We finally got a clean room on our third try which ended up being after midnight.

Hotel is very clean and at a great location- surrounded by lots of options for food and shopping. We did not get the breakfast but were informed that it’s $11 per person. We were disappointed by 2 main things. At check-in, the parking policy was never explained to us ($5 per night for gated parking which is automatically deducted from the incidentals charge). The amount is fine, it was just a nuisance to not know that, park, get settled in, and have to come back- stand in line, just to ask for clarifications on whether we’re supposed to have a hang tag/ticket, etc. since it was never explained at check-in. Next- the really annoying part of our stay… We were exhausted and had a morning flight to catch. We were awakened by a relentless knock on our door early in the morning. It was a woman in a flannel sweater jacket holding a clipboard. She barely spoke English but we figured out that she was asking “when are you leaving?” We were confused and asked, “isn’t checkout at 11?” Even though we had no plans to stay that late, we felt it was extremely unprofessional and rude to disrupt our sleep so she could ask what time we were planning on leaving. She was kind, but this caught us completely off guard and it was not something we expected to experience at a Hyatt property. She responded with “ok!” And then she turned around and left. The toilet in our bathroom was running all night. Again, because we were exhausted- we didn’t bother to complain. Just not what we expected.

Not a good experience on checking in. Travelling with the family and she was given an option to check in early but i wasn't but instead staff said i could check in early with a $25 fee, then she said she'll wave it and acted like she did me a huge favor but never once mentioned that with the other family checking in early. Just made me feel like she didnt want my business. With this experience i wouldn't want to consider staying with Hyatt again. Ive checked in at other hotels earlier than check-in time multiple times and never pd for it, I know its not guarantee but instead was told they'll do the best they can but unfortunately that's not the kind of customer service that i received with this Hotel.

Without any prior notice, they transferred my reservation to another hotel without calling or informing me. When I arrived, I was shocked to find out I had been moved to a completely different location—downtown, where I specifically did NOT want to stay. Not only was this highly inconvenient, but the new hotel did not match the quality, amenities, or location I originally booked. It felt like they just dumped me somewhere without any regard for my preferences or the reservation I had made in advance. To make matters worse, the customer service was unhelpful and dismissive. Instead of offering an explanation or a reasonable solution, they acted like it was no big deal. I was left scrambling to figure out my stay in an area I had deliberately avoided. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. If they had reached out beforehand, I could have made an informed decision, but instead, I was blindsided. I do not recommend booking with [Hotel Name] unless you’re okay with last-minute surprises and poor communication.

When we got there at 11:58, they gave away our room. They were not able to accommodate us in the hotel, even though we explained we were driving for 4 hours, tired, and we had a child with us. Terrible customer service. We were send to another hotel 20 minutes away.

Conveniently located directly across from the St. John Town Center. It is quiet with plenty of restaurants right there. One is right there by the hotel. Room was spacious and comfortable. I will start staying at this hotel when in town for a getaway.

Hair dryer didn’t work.. nice big tv, but had to turn the volume almost to the end. Had to dump out a full glass of wine we took back to the room. Nice breakfast, but thought it came with room. Overall a nice place

There is only one choice for parking close, so you would think it's included. When they give you the card and say you use this to park they don't mention the fee, or else I would have parked a little further away. I came down to breakfast at 8, it was cold, I ended up having 1 small sausage link and a glass of apple juice $11, I am disgusted by that charge, a breakfast is usually included when paying over $100 per night, again upon check in they say breakfast is from 6:30, they don't mention a charge. The property was clean and quiet and I got to spend uninterrupted time with my daughter who's turning 18, so in that respect it was worth it

We selected this hotel with the bar and eatery in mind. The sign in the elevator boasted of these 2 things, however as we arrived in the "bar" area prior to our date we were sadly disappointed as there were no premium drinks or even everyday mixers, so we had to head over to a local restaurant. The next evening, we went down to the same "bar" location for a snack to be told "oh the kitchen is closed" but we could buy a $16 bowl of lettuce and chicken. On the plus our room was comfortable and very clean, even if there was not microwave. Overall, the price per night is not in line for what is actually available.
