The bathroom has multiple issues: missing tile grout around the shower, groult lines filled with gunk. Shower head sprays everywhere, and shower door will not stay closed. Our other issue is the $3.99/day charge for "self parking"...just a regular hotel parking lot. Not clearly visible on the website. It says "self parking available"...you have tyo dig further into the website to fing the charge. Did some research and other Hilton properties in the area has this self parking daily charge. So, wasn't real pleased with that...

I reserved and paid for my room approximately 2 weeks prior to my stay. When I arrived I was informed that corporate had implemented a charge for parking in their lot as of that same day. Though the amount wasn’t outrageous it was an added expense without warning. Lubbock is not Las Vegas so why is paying to park on property even a thing? I could have easily booked my stay at the property right next door without having to pay for parking. The bathroom glass door was damaged nearly falling off its henge. The bathroom was dirty with mold. Breakfast was fine.

We’ve stayed here before but will not stay here again. It is needing some repairs and showings its age. The first room we were in had a clogged sink and the door wouldn’t close unless you shoved on it. The second room we were in had a condensation line in the air conditioner that leaked on the floor and had no toilet paper. When I asked for toilet paper, they said they were trying to get some...so we had to go to the store to get some. The side exit door would not close all the way, unless shoved on as well and I feel that that was a security issue that it would not close. Also, there were tiles on the floor that were broken And falling off the wall by the side door. Now they are charging per night for parking and I think it’s ridiculous.

Ice machine was out on 4th floor. Had to go to the 1st floor- not a huge deal. I was kind of upset that they charged $4 a day for parking. That was definitely not known ahead of time. It’s not the amount- it’s the principle.

Been staying here for 3 years-but the last two trips - hotel isn’t being taken of. The needed to be cleaned better. One bed was missing footboard and my daughter hit the two pegs and hurt her knee. The frig wasn’t plugged in and so it wasn’t ready for cold food! Both ice machine weren’t working . I was told no one would come out and fix. I gave the lady name of a local company who fixes them. ( I have a family with a business in Lubbock got the name from him) The bathroom the gasket around shower door coming off so it leaks on floor. The hotel is very noisy at night and hard to get sleep. It’s really sad that hotel isn’t being taken care of. I know Hilton has standards- We will not stay there again .

It is a nice property but I think it’s lacking in housekeeping. The room I checked into didn’t look like it was cleaned. The floors looked dirty and the bathroom looked like it got skipped too.

Great location- but not worth it. The foyer was messy and hospitality was lacking. We had to wait at least over five minutes for someone to show up and help us. Rooms were not clean at all. Hair in linens, floor, bathroom shower. Stained towels. Wall by the toilet was soiled. I honestly think our room hadn’t been “cleaned” ever. We will not be staying here in the future.

We were in 2 rooms and both DIRTY! Hair in beds and food and crumbs all over room! Front desk girl was there alone and super overwhelmed! She was so Kind but it was such a terrible experience!

Went into the room, it was dirty (bed unmade, dirty towels on the floor, ect.) Went to the front desk, told them, he went and "cleaned" the room, when I went back to the room, he had made the bed up, without changing the sheets! The bed had the same sheets on it that I saw the first time. TERRIBLE> left without staying.

When we got to the hotel about 9:30pm and the hallways carpet was dirty. Our shower floor was dirty needed some bleach and scrubbed. I felt the furniture was quite cheap and flimsy. The room itself was clean and the bed comfortable. It was not noisy. The staff was ok in the evening but much happier in the morning. Now to be fair I have yet to find a hotel in Lubbock over a two without paying a lot of money even then they were mediocre. It’s a shame Lubbock can’t have a good hotel to stay in.

Our first room had broken blinds. Our second room, much smaller and the cleaning staff left the previous occupant's dirty towels hung on the hook. My spouse forgot his toothbrush and the desk clerk said they were out of all complimentary toiletries and was told there was a nearby convenience store a few blocks away try there. Not as good of an experience as previous stays.

If you're looking to save money, this hotel is a decent option. It was well-maintained and clean, with friendly and helpful staff. There's a good space for dogs to run around (which appears to belong to the hotel behind this one). The breakfast was good, and the automatic pancake-making machine was a big hit! A few things to note: Bring your own pillow(s), as the provided ones go flat. Pack earplugs and an eye mask, as the walls are very thin and there are small lights throughout the room that don't turn off and can't be covered. The refrigerator wasn't cold, and there was no coffee pot in the room. If you're traveling with a pet, you might want to consider one of the neighboring hotels. This hotel offers only a small 4-foot square grassy area with potty bags and a trash can, the rest is river rock and xeriscaping. We eventually found the grassy areas from a neighboring hotel. Overall, it's a budget-friendly option with some limitations to keep in mind.

There was no insation/sound barrier between walls and also between floors (as floors were wood laminate), everything little sound came thru into room. Showerhead was hard to adjust. Bed not most comfortable.

I stayed one night on January 3. This is a great hotel for the price. The facilities and room were very clean and it was very quiet. This hotel has quiet hours after 10PM, which is great. I'm deducting a star for the uncomfortable bed. I had to go to the chiropractor after staying there.

The AC wouldn’t go below 71 but not too bad. However, not having the privacy curtain behind the sheer curtain was awful! We had the parking lot lights shining in our face all night and not to mention, I’m sure the Loop and parking lot got a show after showering. You could see straight into our room.

Brittany in the morning for breakfast was excellent! We LOVED her personality and she made us feel right at home. Alexis in the evening was very helpful. It was very strange to not have a closet or dresser in the room to store our belongings. Our room had no -functioning lights, broken bed frames. We did like the game area and sitting area downstairs. It was a great area for our family to visit.

Hilton. ✔️ Nice side of town. ✔️ Relatively new construction. ✔️. A poor little 19 or maybe 20 year old kid checked us in. After we’d been waiting at the unmanned desk for 10 minutes. He was evidently on his first night or two alone as he had to call his manager on his cell phone to get directions as to how to check us in. Finally accomplished and issued keys. Room was slightly better furnished than an oilfield man camp around Odessa. Good shower though. If you can afford it at all, spend the money and stay elsewhere.

We stayed here twice on a road trip both ways. The first time was seamless and perfect. The second time I checked in online and wasnt given a digital key so had to recheck in after driving 13 hours and wait in line. The staff was not as friendly as the first time. I would still recommend for the price, area and cleanliness.

#1 would be the staff. My 24 yo daughter was travelinf across two states, late at night and this staff helped me get her a room from afar, asked her name and even said..."we'll wait up for her". That was so comforting to a momma who could be with her.

The staff here is absolutely amazing! We stay here for softball tournaments and they are so friendly and on top of things! Lydia, Sylvia, and Mikeal took wonderful care of us! As always, it was clean and quiet!

I don't have a lot to say about Tru hotels, because they are basically perfect. The only thing I noticed in our room is that the lamp for the workspace was missing, and the staff was surprised, and said they would fix that. I should have just gone downstairs to work, because the lounge area is roomy, comfortable, and quiet.

My experience at this property was pretty average. If I had known there were other hotels in the area, I might have chosen differently. On a positive note, the front desk clerk was very accommodating, which I appreciated. My sister and I switched rooms a few times until we found one that met our needs. However, when I finally settled in, I noticed a long black hair on one of my towels, which was surprising given the housekeeping standard I expected. Overall, while it wasn't terrible, it just didn't leave a lasting impression on me.

I always stay at Tru by Hilton when I travel to Lubbock to visit my daughter in college. The hotel has a nice atmosphere and great location in Lubbock by Milwaukee Ave where all the good restaurants are.

Breakfast options were limited and not refilled. Of course the pancakes/waffle station was not working. Coffee ran out and was not refilled. Some of the staff were friendly. We make trips often to Lubbock and we won’t be staying here again.

We love staying at TRU when we get the opportunity. The front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was that at this location there was no coffee, we asked and the person tending the area rudely told us it was being made. We waited over 30 min and gave up. Furthermore, there was not enough hot breakfast items provided for the amount of people staying at the hotel. We ended up having to get breakfast elsewhere. Other locations usually keep it stocked as needed.

The room was decently clean. They need to clean between the matress and bed frame. 😳 The a/c wouldn’t stay on. It was a little stuffy in the room. The breakfast options are pretty scarce.

There were no hot eggs or meat and waited 15 minutes for The eggs and they had cheese in them so I couldn’t eat them. therefore there was no protein option as I don’t like hard boiled eggs. The sausage took over 20 minutes to refilled. Granted it was Thanksgiving morning and I think just busier than they thought it would be. Everyone was super nice but definitely could use possibly another set of pans with eggs/meat. They just never seemed to be able to stay up on it.

We had a good stay in this hotel. It was very clean, which is typically the most important issue for me. The breakfast was amazing (except one of the pancake machines was not working so the pancake line was very long). The staff were very kind and made us feel very welcome. My only complaint is the floor/ceiling is too thin. I could hear people walking and maybe even running most of the night. Very frustrating. However, I would probably stay here again because the customer service was very good!
