We were very pleased with the level of service throughout our stay, from the front desk to the breakfast team. It was probably the best experience we've had in Italy in a long time. The breakfast was a highlight—we really enjoyed it! The hotel itself is lovely, with a great location close to the underground and within walking distance of interesting areas. The only disappointment was the fitness room, which is very small and poorly equipped.

The Great: we stayed one night at this hotel and we wanted to stay more. The room is super cool, had coffee machine (which is rare now) with nespresso pods, and cool designer things. It is located in Brera a really cool and chic neighborhood with lots of boutique shops and great restaurants. The Good: breakfast buffet had salmon, as well as coffee made straight from barista which is great. Also had gluten and dairy free options. It had a public parking right in the hotel so it was very convenient for us. The bad: check in was a little slow paying for city tax and parking which was very high.

Ther’s free fountain potable water in Watch floor, but no jars or glasses in the room, so…take yours. The gym is very small but fuctional, i know its a green hotel but giving something to clean the equipment at the end of the training is important, maybe towel or tissues. The bar is very nice and personal really kind

The bedsheets were not changed from previous customer who stayed at our room 514; however, the staff changed them after we told receptionist. Other than this everything was wonderful about this hotel. Free refill water at each floor. Great breakfast. Close to many shops.next to a subway.

When I arrived at the property, I could sense it had a fairly active vibe. Upon check in, I was informed that I could upgrade my room for a fee as the room I had booked was tiny. The young woman at reception took me upstairs to see the two rooms & I immediately agreed. I paid the difference which wasn't a small fee. I had dinner plans so I went to the bathroom to quickly wash my hands and then get ready to leave. The soap in the bathroom was completely empty. I called the front desk about it and it took someone 15 minutes to bring some soap. At this point, I was late so I simply grabbed my things & left. When I came back from dinner and drinks, I went back into the bathroom and began to realize that it had not been cleaned. There was hair in the bidet and hair all over the floor and in the shower. It was one in the morning at this point and I was so exhausted that I just went to bed but wondered if the sheets had really been cleaned. They appeared to be clean enough. The next morning when I told the front desk, they were not apologetic enough but did let me know that I could move to a new room when I returned and that they would have someone clean the bathroom. So I went to a new room when I returned and that room had been cleaned but clearly not aired out in a long time as there was dust on the wall above the bed and the entire wall in the bathroom. At this point, I was just done and knew I wouldn't be returning to this hotel. I opened the door. I have more to say!

The room was nice, recently redone with nice bathroom and super comfortable overall. The whole hotel was really clean and the staff was very nice. The location is convenient, close to public transit as well as restaurants and cafes. I’d stay here again.

The property was fine but the cleaning staff didn't clean the toilet then came in and cleaned the toilet after i let them know but cleaned the inside of the bowl then the rest and touch the flush button with the same rag. Overall the hotel is overpriced and also after seeing their cleaning processes, dirty.

Really nice ‘design hotel’. Nice welcome at check-in, we arrived early evening and the staff were happy to offer local recommendations for aperitivo. We had a great room with Bluetooth speaker, Nespresso machine, Dyson hairdryer and complementary snack box. Very good little bakery across the street for breakfast (the hotel does offer breakfast too but it’s expensive compared to the bakery).

A remarkably pleasant and well-balanced hotel. Good location, nearby metro, restaurants, and shops. Quiet at night. Modern, trendy, clean interiors (we had a 'La Tailor-Made' room). Rather hard bed, though. Varied (but not lavishly so) breakfast. Kind and helpful staff (greetings, Giulia!). Overall one of our nicest hotel experiences, and we've seen quite a few, including in much higher price categories.

Stayed in a La Cosy Twin room. The rooms are modern, very comfortable and very clean. Even though a bit small they made use of the space available with all the amenities provided. Hotel is in a great location away from the hustle bustle of Milan city centre. It is located in the Brera district - an artistic and bohemian neighborhood known for its charming cobblestone streets, elegant architecture, and lively atmosphere. Walking distance to Duomo is approximately 20-25 mins. Metro subway station only 50m away from the hotel. Hotel staff are very helpful and also recommended us a few restaurants to dine which was close by. Would definitely stay again!

Very comfortable stay ,centrally located ,nice design . I would recommend . The only comment ,I had a room on the second floor looking onto corso Garibaldi ,the windows do not provide adequate sound insulation and there was a night venue opposite the hotel quite noisy late at night .

Loved everything about this hotel! The staff were so helpful and friendly and the location was perfect — so many shops and restaurants nearby! The room was decorated so nicely and our bathroom even had a Dyson hairdryer which was a plus! Will definitely consider booking again if I’m ever back in Milan.

This is a beautiful, hip and modern property. The staff - especially Atousa and Chelsea were excellent. They greeted us, checked us in, explained the charges, gave great suggestions for local restaurants and things to do and were very accommodating for our family of 6. Easy check in, texting available for any needs, rooms were spacious, clean and very well appointed. We really enjoyed our 1-night stay. Urban Hive is very close to all the shops, restaurants, Duomo and night life. I highly recommend!

Super stay. Scervice minded and friendy staff. Nice and clean room. One of the best breakfast buffes I have experienced (and I am an experienced traveller). Last point, but very relevant for city travels, the location was very convinient. Metro station is 50 m from the entrence. And 20 min walk to get to the city senter. Recommend! If I could I would give Urban Hive - Milan 10 stars! The service was excellent. The breakfast was the best “continental” breakfast I have ever had. The location is perfect; we walked to almost all major sites and areas of town. Staff was so very helpful in every way but we especially appreciated the incredibly quick cab service when we needed one. I hope to stay here if ever in Milan again. Highly recommended.

Lovely, small hotel! Excellent location right across from metro stop. Our third time staying at this hotel. They serve a wonderful breakfast every morning. Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Also, very easy to walk to Sforza Castle and Parco Sempione.

We returned to Urban Hive for a second time in January 2026 (previously 2023). UH has mantained its high standards in terms of cleanliness and service. The rooms have some quirky decorations which makes UH a fun experience. The breakfast is outstanding with a great selection, excellent coffee and service. UH is well located within easy walking distance of the main central Milan attractions. UH is also right next to the the Moscova metro station so getting further afield is easy. I would recommend and return (again) to Urban Hive.
