This is a nice, clean, typical Courtyard Marriott. Good location, close to shopping and dining. No parking onsite, and the closest lot is 39 pounds per day, which is like 55 USD.

Stayed for one night for a birthday trip to Oxford. Chose the hotel for it's location - close to the Westgate Centre and a very short walk from the Park & Ride bus stop. The hotel is tucked away down a quiet backstreet but easy walking distance to the Westgate (excellent shopping and restaurants) and the town centre. The hotel rooms were spotless and well appointed with excellent bathrooms. There is a lovely sunny roof terrace for guest use - no bar up there but you can take your own drinks up or bring them up from the bar on the ground floor. Hotel staff were super friendly - on check out they even took a polaroid photo of the group as a memento! We are frequent visitors to Oxford and I would definitely stay here again.

no elevator access to the floor I was on. Had to carry my very large luggage up some stairs. There was some maintenance that was going on in the room next to mine which was a bit of an annoyance.

The lobby is under renovations and a little messy, but the experience overall was good. Very friendly staff including Sir Hari at the buffet and the lovely Thai receptionist who helped us with early check-in. Rooms are comfortable, but the bathroom design leaves something to be desired - cheap shower flooring and glass doors with no privacy. Overall, would recommend.

This hotel is a nice property, located on a very quiet side-street. It is within easy walking distance, (about 4 minutes) to a large shopping mall, which is also the closest parking area to the hotel, which has no parking, but does have an area out front (on a very quiet side street) to pull up and unload luggage and get checked in. Then, because of the way the streets are in Oxford, you have a 5 to 15 minute drive (depending on traffic, which always seems heavy) to get to the shopping centre underground parkade. The walk back is less than 5 mins on quiet side streets with a couple of pubs on them. I think the hotel should have an arrangement with the parkade management for a discounted parking cost for its customers. The parkade is attrociously expensive. The entertainment district starts just beyond the shopping mall, so it's a very easy walk to get to the area where the bulk of the bars, pubs, and restaurants are.

Nice accommodations for the price in the centre of Oxford. Lack of parking is a weak point and the front desk was not clear on directions to the public car park. Additionally it was not advertised that there was some disabled parking at the hotel which would have helped me tremendously if known.

It showed there was parking on web site. Then was told that I had to use public parking. There was no directions so I had to look it up but one lot was full and then had to find another lot. Our room was handicap which was not helpful to us and hard to take a shower. They did not tell us we were staying in handicap room. Door to bathroom was clear so light went into room.

The property was in excellent condition. The breakfast buffet was of an excellent quality. The staff were very helpful. The only negative to the hotel was that there was no parking available. If you’re driving, the closest parking facility is about 3 blocks away, however driving there takes quite awhile as a result of one-way streets and road construction. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff excellent always helpful. Room was clean, begins of mould showing in the bathroom. Done believe the ‘courtyard claim, it’s just a rows of rooms with little style. All your window (which doesn’t open) does is let some light in. You’re staring at the room window of the person oppos, truly awful. Massively overpriced for a room with no view.

Good location and nice exterior. There were issues with the wifi and television which we were made aware of during our stay. However, when the signal was back up we still had troubles and I called reception for assistance. They said they would send someone up to fix it, but after a while they called back and tranferred the phone to a maintenance lad, who though was very helpful, took me through a long step process of how to resume the tv connection myself. The condition of the room on level 3 was quite poor, with damaged and stained carpet. The staff were helpful by bringing my mother and I an extra duvet when we were cold.

Room was lovely and clean, bathroom spotless. There was a couple of staines on the carpet. Black out curtain are very effective. 12noon checkout was a welcome change, it’s often earlier. Very helpful staff on reception. Good location, very central but quiet. The roof terrace is a good addition.

It’s our second time staying at this property. It’s convenient, clean & overall a nice place to stay. As soon as you enter, it smells nice and fresh. The rooms are a good size, generally clean. You can’t hear any outside noise, or from other rooms. You can hear people walking through the corridor but that’s expected (it wasn’t bad at all). The staff were very polite and helpful. There were only two things I felt could be better - providing dressing gown and/or slippers and the windows in our room were all frosted except one diagonal one. I understand it’s better for privacy but it would be nice to look out the window especially if they don’t open. These things aren’t a deal breaker I would recommend and will return :)

The hotel was in a great position for town ,clean and helpful staff ,the rim was attractive but small ,facing onto other rooms and you couldn’t open the window so I felt uncomfortable,the rooms faced into castle and had a window that opened,for the money I paid I was disappointed

Wonderful stay! Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Joshua at the front desk who checked us in early, gave us a tourist map, and offered excellent recommendations for sightseeing, shopping, and eating. The room was clean and comfortable. Two small bottles of water were provided daily. The hotel is located on a quiet stree and a short walk from the railway station, Westgate shopping centre, Oxford University buildings and restaurants galore. Perfect base for exploring Oxford!

Super impressed with this hotel and our stay in general. Location is great - only a few moments walk from the westgate shopping centre, room was clean and the air con kept us cool all night. The service was really outstanding. My husband mentioned in conversation that it was a birthday treat and within 30 mins we had prosecco, balloons, a handwritten card and a lovely gift delivered to our room, which was such a kind and thoughful gesture!

The service was excellent. Pi took care of all my needs from early and late check out, printing, directions to nearby touring, arranging taxis and storing luggage. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and bright and it was quiet. Overall a great experience.

I chose the hotel because it was close to the train station and near the areas I wanted to visit. The room was lovely and very quiet. The staff was very helpful with directions and arranging taxis. we were on a 2 day visit to Oxford and needed a good hotel near to everything, this ticked all the boxes and it was quite. Great rooms, very comfy beds and excellent breakfast. There is a roof top terrace which is great for a drink in an evening.

Unlike any Marriott I’ve stayed in before. Fresh, clean and modern but totally impractical bathroom, limited food served in a soulless restaurant and poor quality. Breakfast was also poor. Had to send a dinner and breakfast dish back to the kitchen. Great staff and good location.
