Iberostar Selection Coral Cancun - Adults Only All Inclusive Resort

This is our second time staying here and we were not disappointed! Every room has a beautiful view, and the all-inclusive has great food and drink options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s not an overly young or old crowd and there are lots of activity options on the property. Our favorite part is floating in the pool while watching the ocean ❤️ My only comment is that some parts of the hotel are showing a little wear (hallway carpets for example.)

Food and drink are good. Rooms and beach are good. Entertainment was ok But really nothing to do after 9:30! There is no night life. There is a sport bar which is a very sad place! Did we enjoy! Yes for sure! The height for us was the room with nice view. Nice beach. Good food and drinks. What was missing first no real VIP treatment. The resort credit is a scam! You need to spent more than $2500 to be able to get that! Second we were very board at nights! Really nothing to do at the resort!

Limited entertainment

Hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly. Entertainment was lacking. I didnt think they had an upbeat night life environment. If you want to have fun at night you will have to leave the property.

Every room in the Coral building has a perfect view. We were very happy with the service and overall experience. The elevator is quite slow. The night life is also slow, possibly due to older clientele. The activities staff tried their best to liven things up, with mixed results. Perfect spot for a quiet, pampered stay.

Mixed Feelings: Beautiful Resort, Painful Stay We recently stayed at this resort & while there were some highlights, the overall experience left us disappointed. 🌟Service: The staff were truly wonderful—attentive, friendly, & helpful. Their hospitality was the high point of our stay & deserves recognition. 🍽️Food: Nothing particularly memorable, but decent enough to get by. 🏖️Facilities: The resort is clearly designed with aesthetics in mind. However, comfort seems to have been sacrificed in the process. Every seating area—from lounge chairs to beds—was so uncomfortable that I ended up with severe back pain, to the point I could barely walk. For a place meant to promote relaxation, this was a major letdown. 🚪Elevator Issues: During our last 24 hours, one of the two elevators was out of service. With only one small elevator left to serve the entire building, it was a frustrating & time-consuming ordeal just trying to get to & from our room. 💼Unwelcome Sales Pitch: Before we even made it to our room—after a long day of travel—we were approached about attending what appeared to be a timeshare presentation. This was not only poorly timed, but also completely out of step with the relaxing getaway we had hoped for. We came to unwind, not to be sold to. We get enough of that back home. ❌Bottom Line: Unless the resort invests in truly comfortable seating & bedding, we won’t return. The beautiful surroundings & excellent service can’t make up for physical discomfort.

The beach was amazing! Clean, water was clear and stunning views from all over.

If you stay at this resort choose the coral reef all adults only Panoramic view. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Also in the adults only the drink are high quality (top of the line) vs staying in the family side. If you looking for a lot of activities or party activities right on the resort this is not the resort for you. It’s more laid back and quiet. Beach is nice and is swimmable.

Very nice resort. This was our first adults only experience because we don't mind kids. The adults only was more about the food choices, beach chairs, umbrellas, service. It was very nice. The only complaint i have is there is 2 elevators and they were very slow.

The ocean front was really beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The outdoor area was kept clean and yes, they were Eco-friendly. What I did not like was the interior hallways to the rooms, they had worn out carpet with were stained and frayed. It looked like we were at a Motel 6. HORRIBLE AND TACKY. Once you got outside it was better.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Iberostar Coral Level (adults-only section) for five nights. The first thing we noticed about the hotel was the smell. It was very pleasant and welcoming. The property is also well managed and clean. We always see staff cleaning and maintaining different parts of the hotel. Similarly, the room we stayed in spacious and well maintained.

Had a lovely stay. From the upgraded room to the very end with a late check out. The waitstaff around the pool was top tier. I did not catch her name but it started with an E. Ramirez at the restaurants. Alex from the entertainment team. Food was good. Pool was great. Location was great. Only complaint was the 4th floor was musty smelling in the hallway but may have been due to the recent hurricane.

My family had an amazing time at Iberostar Selection Coral Cancun. The rooms were spotless and well kept. The entire staff, from front desk, to entertainment team, kitchen staff, was welcoming and always greeted us with a smile. We loved different cuisines that the resort had to offer. The view from our rooms to the beach was breathtaking. Overall, we loved every bit of the experience during our stay here.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and property. We enjoyed the food and the view was amazing. Most of the staff that we interacted with were exceptionally amazing.

Property was nice but definitely could tell it was an older property. The new portion( adults only) was nice and clean however the family side showed signs of being older and more wear. The cleanliness was also lacking in comparison to the adults only side

Sliding glass door handle to balcony broke on day 1 and was never repaired. Could lock door or completely close door for 8 days. Cleaning service enetred room at all hours of the day unannounced even when Do Not Disturb sign was illuminated.

Room was beautiful with great ocean view. Food was great with many options. Great concierge service.

The Air conditioning in the room could have been better. The room was not cooling off and i did mention that couple times. It was not hot in the room but just ok

Horrible experience the doors to room did not lock. No WiFi was working. I got food poisoning. I will never ever ever go there again in my life.

We enjoyed the adults only section on the resort because it wasn't as crowded. The resort was beautiful and the staff was amazing, especially our waiter Cesar at La Horma, he was excellent. The cleaning staff always did something beautiful with the bed and the curtains. We loved the entertainment in the evenings too. Our complaints are the adults only rooms were dated, we wouldn't sit on the couch in our room because it desperately needed cleaned or replaced. The sliding door was extremely hard to open/close. The curtains were hard to close as part of them came down. Some of the lights were hard to turn on/off. The telephone handset didn't work, we could only use it on speaker phone. A little bit of maintenance and modernizing to the rooms and hallways would go a long ways. When we made the reservation we reserved a room with full windows on 2 walls but that isn't what we got, we got small windows in the Junior Suite. The concierge staff were pushy when we got there to go have breakfast with their staff to sell us stuff so after we said no we avoided the lobby level with the concierge staff.

Great property but rooms are very warm

The staff is superb. Hands-down Iberostar is always the best experience. From Yazmin at the reception desk to Sabe at cabana service and MANY others, the staff at the Coral was out of this world. Will definitely be returning and couldn’t recommend them enough!

The Iberostar staff genuinely provided the greatest service I have ever seen in my life. Everyone was happy/friendly and available at all times to assist with the needs of each guest. I will definitely be back.

Overall had a good experience Food in Buffet was a miss but the room service and restaurants on property compensate for that. Concierge in the lobby tries to sell you a time-share sort of presentation for free SPA/pool side cabana experience which is bit annoying. Also most of the restaurant on property will not accept reservations you gotta be there at 5:30pm in case you need to dine in those

Love the adult only with the option to enjoy the other side as well! Staff was AWESOME from check in to pool to bars to check out! Can’t say enough great things about staff and resort

Staff was absolutely fantastic and the amenities were great! The food was great most nights! The only hesitation was the credit came with all sorts of restrictions making it pretty much worthless!

I stayed at Iberostar Selection Coral Cancún for one week with my partner. We had an absolutely amazing experience! The customer service, food, and beach/pool were all excellent. The resort is beautiful, clean, and well kept. The entertainment team (Beto, Adan, Peter, Dhaira, Alex, and Hector) made this experience memorable. Definitely one of the best resorts I’ve ever been to. Highly recommend!

Property was amazing. They will offer a time share presentation. Very pushy.

Check in was fast and they had my room ready before regular check in time. Jorge, Sabi, Carmen and Nelson were all fantastic. We rented a pool cabana for the week and service was exceptional . Room was great and so were the food choices. If you want a place to relax this is it. We will be back!

Beautiful pool right on the beach. Rooms all had amazing ocean front views of a beautiful beach and turquoise water. Staff was so friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

Excellent property, great friendly staff, restaurants are really good and are first come first serve basis. A specialized restaurant for Seafood lovers. Night time activities were good but can be improved. It sits on a corner for hotel zone so little away from city noise which I personally liked. You always have the option to a bus to go to the hotel zone central area

Iberostar Coral Cancun - Conveniently located with the most amazing lunch buffet. Staff were incredible. Lots of activities and shows - but you’re equally able to relax and enjoy quiet time.

A very nice resort; we took a corner suite but a regular oceanfront suites looked attractive too. The entire section of the beach reserved to Iberostar guests is huge although the area with the best shaded umbrellas and least wind is restricted to club members. We had breakfast and lunch in the restaurant La Barca at the Coral Level which seemed to be best of all for dinner too, so next time I would probably not bother making reservations in other places, with the possible exception of the Japanese place for variety. Venturing outside of the property, shopping malls are within 10 minutes by taxi (which are usually ready and waiting just outside the gate), also El Rey archeological area is 15 min walk to the south, and an archeology museum with a smaller archeological area is 15 min walk to the north.

Views were stunning. The staff was very friendly and it was very close to the airport. I appreciated the adult only section; it was quiet and very low key. The Spa was serene and the property is beautiful. The staff acknowledged and celebrated my birthday in very sweet and thoughtful way. I really appreciated it. I felt safe and at ease on the property as well as off.

Rooms and landscape were excellent. Many food choices, but taste was just average. Location to shopping and tourist attractions were about 15-20 minutes away. Better for someone looking to relax in an all-inclusive environment. Not the best for excursion access.

Great food, difficult to get into restaurants, very friendly staff, clean rooms, but we did not receive any VIP benefits.

Whilst advertised as an adults only hotel, the hotel is a small section of the main family resort. All of the a-la-carte restaurants are within the family resort, therefore when expecting a holiday with no children running around it was not the case. Additionally, on occasions families would settle on the adults only area of the beach. Food - whilst never expecting to be blown away by an all inclusive and accepting the buffet could be cold. Every a-la-carte restaurant also serves incredibly cold food. Not to mention the challenge of getting in to an a-la-carte restaurant due to not being able to prior reserve a table. One evening we would have had a 2 hours wait and put our name on the waiting list at 6pm (very early dinner on holiday!) Nevertheless, the staff were always extremely friendly and attentive. Hotel was overall ok but not blown away to say we’d go back.

Great ocean view and overall clean. My only issue is the food seemed to always be cold on the buffet of the Adults only side of the resort. We ordered a meat lovers pizza to our room and not only was it cold like a pizza from an American Lunchable for kids, but they put cut up hot dogs on it (yuck).

Loved the A La Carte restaurants' menu and the buffet menu was pretty good too! Also love the view, pool, beach, numerous activities and them being all-inclusive! The housekeeping, room service, and everything are worth 5 stars. I would say the teppanyaki restaurant fell short of expectations and food was quite bland in my opinion. But overall 5 out of 5 stars experience and would highly recommend this hotel!!

I made a reservation at the hotel between January 8th to January 12th, at the Iberostar Coral level. When I went there, everything was good, but on January 9th, I went to the Japanese restaurant, and a few hours later, I vomited around 20 times, had a fever and my stomach hurt. Since then, I asked for help and one of the medical doctors from the hotel came to my room and helped me. The doctor said it could be an appendix burst, thus, he suggested me to go to the hospital. Therefore, I had to check out early on January 10th and went back to my country to go to the hospital. From the hospital, they said it was not an appendix burst and it was because of food poisoning.

Overall this resort was very good. I would say the highlight of resort is the food. The food was really good and I loved how the buffet was within the same building as our room so it made it easy in terms of access.

The drinks and the food were both great! Typically the buffets are not the beat on resorts. This one was amazing.

We paid for adult only but all the specialty dining was on the family side.
