Great waterpark and lazy river. Staff was pleasant.

For an all inclusive resort the fact that the children's arcade section has an upcharge to use it seems kind of petty. Premium alcohol availability is inconsistent- you might be able to have Gray Goose one day, next day only absolute vodka is available and the next Smirnoff.

Stuff was excellent! Gym could have better equipment!

Elevators were not working. Bathroom shower got cold when you opened another faucet. Lunch at restaurants start late. They should start at 11:30am or 12 noon the latest. Found property to be cookie cutter in it designed. Love the customer service, the water park and lazy river!

We had an amazing time at Dreams Macao! The staff is absolulely amazing and go above and beyond in so many ways! The place is incredibly clean, the rooms are super comfortable and the food was amazing! We mainly ate at the buffet becuase they had SO much variety and was so good! The kids club was so great and our kids loved the girls who work there. Entretainment was so fun and kept you engaged! Overall we had the best vacation! We were 2 families 4 adults and 6 children 11 and under.

We had an amazing stay! We took a family trip with our two kids 15 and 13 and all around had a blast! Plenty of food options for everyone and the restaurants were great. The water slides and lazy river were fun! We traveled over the kids spring break so it was a little crowded but still nothing to complain about. The only thing was to get a spot at the main pool you had to go throw your towels on the chairs very early to save them. The shows at night were really well done as well. All in all everything was wonderful especially the people working there. We didn't run into one worker that wasn't friendly or helpful! The only complaint I have is beware of the sales pitch you have to sit through to get some freebies. It was a timeshare pitch but somewhat worth sitting through it to get a full massage and $150 resort credit.

VIP offerings were very limited. Butler was not attentive. Top shelf drinks only available inside club. Items were limited daily.

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and had a fantastic time! The grounds are meticulous, the staff is wonderful, and it's quiet and very safe! Beach is very clean and monitored by security. Water park and pool are fun too for kids! Only reason I don't give it five stars is because I feel the pool and waterpark close to early at 6:00 p.m., also we asked for a partial ocean view on Expedia and we didn't get that. We got a Garden View. When I mentioned that to the concierge they told me to take that up with Expedia and there was nothing they could do about it. Other than that all else was wonderful!

Food in majority of the restaurants was awesome. Food in buffet was fresh but generally speaking below expectations for the vacation price paid. Entertainment was amazing. Plenty of activities for kids and adults were there. Water slides for adults and water island for kids were awesome. Surprisingly the beach area is always bombarded by the rough see. Walking about 100-300 yards to the sides of the resort beach area may end up in calmer sea for those who like swimming there.

My room front door was broken, couldn’t lock the doors unless i used my keys to lock it. Half of the items in the bathroom wasn’t working or looks broken like the mirror for your makeup and the knob for the shower. Also the bathroom always have a weird mildew smell. The shower drain always making sounds all night like it couldn’t drain the water. Room service was okay, except finding a metal string in my omelette that looks like it was from a metal sponge to clean the grill/stove, i told the supervisor about it, and they didn’t do anything about it. ALSO, if you use the app for collect tray, i would think someone is going to pick it up on the first request but NOPE, my dirty dishes from the room service will still be in the box for couple hours after claiming they “attended” my collect tray which they didn’t. Also i felt like the resort can improve in securities because a lot of ppl were drunk in the nightclub looking for a fight with other people. But i love the lobby bar, the bartender Jorge, and Rocio, are so good with making the drinks!

The Hotel was ok, the building and the property were in good shape, the staff were friendly and efficient, but the property needs better cleaning and pest control, they were very small cockroaches in the closet. Also the bed comforter smelled bad like if it was sweaty or it was not wash properly. Yesterday night when I was in Coco Cafe I ordered a sweet pastry and my husband and I saw a little cockroach through the trays of food. I believe the property has the potential to be an excellent hotel, but needs to improve in pest control and cleaning.

Food was mixed. Some very good, mostly pretty bland. Saw a crew spraying for roaches late at night & seeing a dead roach on a staircase didn’t inspire me…

We had an excellent stay at Dream Macao! The property was immaculately clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights of our stay was the entertainment crew that ran the activities around the pool. Willian, the entertainer, was absolutely fantastic! He kept our group engaged and made sure we were all having a great time. His energy and enthusiasm were infectious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool activities. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with Dream Macao, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel experience. Five stars isn't enough - we'd give it even more if we could!

The property was very clean, & the staff was pleasant, & very helpful. Every restaurant was nice, talkative, & the food was excellent. The short distance from room too restaurants was excellent. They gave me an upgraded room, & the staff for room service, breakfast, all our requests was excellent. Very safe resort, will return!

The staff is very nice and friendly, what I didn’t like was the pool was dirty and theater had a lot of dust besides that everything was fine

There are limited food options in the buffet as we found ourselves eating the same thing every day. I recommend the Italian, hibachi, and seafood restaurants. The AC was making a terrible sound in room 5226 which disturbed our sleepy nights. Housekeeping was always available. However, the lady in the morning time was resistant to change the sheets making me feel like i was asking for a favor. The girl in the late afternoon is very pleasant. All staff members at the CoCo Cafe were great! Including Maria, Kendra, Maian and the guy overnight. Joel was great during the VIP service process. Moses at the lazy river went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The girls at the explore club were amazing and detail oriented about everything. They made me feel at ease. All servers at the beach including the security guards were great, very attractive and friendly. We felt safe. Everything is nearby. The spa is super clean, comfortable and all staff members are happy, friendly and communicated effectively. The lobby area needs an AC as it gets incredibly hot. The fans are not enough.

This was a nice resort, but had a few drawbacks. The rooms were a little worn, the shower had a shower head that did not work and the door leaked into the bathroom so that the floor was wet the entire time. A light was flickering constantly in the bathroom and at night after showering there was a horrible smell of sewage, which I was able to block by putting all our towels over the grate. I had to ask 3 x before getting hand soap for the bathroom. They only gave us 3 towels even thought there were 4 of us. (Little things, but annoying to deal with on vacation) Beds were comfortable and the fridge was stocked with ample water and other beverages. Staff was very friendly. Upon checking in there was a hard sales pitch to join the Hyatt club, and we were told that since we booked through Expedia we were not “preferred status” and we should have booked through Hyatt bc we would have automatically been preferred. Preferred has access to extra pools and amenities, and can also book reservations at the hibachi restaurant. We were told to book reservations there by the front desk but then told they don’t take reservations by the restaurant. Apparently only preferred can do that. Food was generally good although not amazing. The taco truck was amazing and the best food of the week. Overall we had a nice trip but it wasn’t the best all inclusive we’ve been to

Beautiful place and the room is clean with modern technology, however the shower/ tub set up is weird and the shower door doesn’t close tight so water leaks out. I attended a wedding, the ceremony as it should was outdoors and was short enough to tolerate the heat, in my opinion the party should be indoors in air conditioned spaces, I believe most people myself included didn’t enjoy partying with dress up clothes in the heat and humidity

This is a great resort! My 10 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed the water park, other pools, and activities. The food was good, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The beach is nice, but the water was too rough for swimming. When booking, be aware that there are not many rooms that directly face the beach, so your "ocean view suite" is only visible from one side of your balcony. It\'s a popular destination wedding venue, with weddings on the beach and receptions close to the beach, directly adjacent to the first couple of buildings. Music was LOUD and continued after our bed time. Consider a room farther from the beach for some peace and quiet... you\'ll barely see it from your balcony anyway.

Everyone at this resort was lovely. The rooms were clean and spacious. The showers were cute but not practical. We found turning both shower heads on seemed to help keep the water temperature consistent. Water does leak out of the door. We had a butler and only saw him once, but he texted and checked in if we needed anything. Not sure what you would need him for since the app is great and you can request room service, restock water, order room service and check the activities. You are not able to make reservations at restaurants but we only had to wait a few minutes. The food was fine. As an average American woman I found the serving sizes to be quite small. None of the meals impressed me. It was all just fine. I found myself craving fresh vegetables, as there were hardly any offered. The bar located beyond the pool (the one with the swings) was by far the best. They were friendly, never too crowded, made the best drinks. The entertainment team was great - especially for my 10 year old. He is too old for kids club, too young for teen activities. Baby Face and Victor OG made both of us feel welcome and excited to be there. The pools were never too crowded. Tubes are provided for the Lazy River but some people did bring their own for that or the pool. We booked the preferred package but honestly, there was no need. The swim out room would have been fun for my son. Overall.... It was a GREAT trip!!!

Beautiful property with amazingly friendly staff. The property was clean and spacious and we never felt crowded. We stayed in a Villa with our own pool…awesome. It was a good walk from the villa to the beach but we didnt mind due to the beauty of the property. Restaurants were good and we never waited for a table even with a party of 17. I highly recommend Dreams Macao Beach

Very nice property, well appointed rooms. Food was very good and the staff very polite and attentive.

We had an amazing stay at this resort. We did the preferred swim up room and it was the best thing we ever did. Our butler Johanny was great, we didn't need him much but he was extremely responsive and would make reservations for us if needed. He also looked after taking care of our luggage on check out. Resort was great, rooms were clean, food was okay.. not the greatest but it's expected it. The cafe was great, made the best cappucinos's in the morning and had lots of lovely little sweet bites! The ladies were very polite and accomodating. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort. But I would also recommend paying a little extra for the preferred room.

The staff go above and beyond, to make the stay a delightful experience.

The room was in poor condition, the bathtub was dirty, the bed was broken, the toilet overflowed, and the outlets didn’t work. These weren’t isolated issues; they happened on three separate occasions, and each time I had to call twice just to get someone to respond. Even then, the problems were barely addressed. I requested cleaning and maintenance multiple times, left for hours, and returned to find nothing done. The service was consistently unprofessional; staff were dismissive and rude. At the buffet, an employee rolled their eyes when I asked a question, and when I tried to order room service for the first time, I was rudely asked if I was “ordering again.” If you don’t upgrade to Preferred, they treat you like you don’t matter. I know this because I stayed as Preferred for two nights, then switched to non-Preferred to be with the wedding party — the difference in treatment was night and day. Staff seemed more focused on upselling and squeezing every dime out of guests than providing decent service. For an “all-inclusive” resort, it’s ridiculous how much they try to upcharge. Overall, the experience was unacceptable. The lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and courtesy made my stay frustrating and uncomfortable. I will not be returning.

The staff is amazing!! I traveled alone for a wedding and felt completely safe and comfortable. They really take of you and the staff is second to none. Worth every penny!!

The actual hotel and hotel staff were fantastic with no complaints. The issue was even though it was a VIP acc prop no room upgrade was ever given, no late checkout was ever given and to get the gold reward status perks for the spa you were forced to sit through a 4 hour presentation for an unlimited vacation package scam that they said was 90 minutes. Only after this half day presentation was done where we were finally given our credit that was supposed to be included in the gold reward. Frankly I'm shocked that a reputable company like Hyatt and Expedia would have this as the normal operation to receive this gold reward. Luckily while still at the hotel we were able to finally review the contract and see all the inconsistencies in what was promised to the actual contract itself and see that it was indeed a scam. We were able to cancel the CC and file the cancelation within the 5 day window allowed. Again, shameful that Hyatt would allow this to take place on their grounds. Last issue was local vendors were allowed to sell merchandise inside the grounds of the hotel after dinner hours. Normally this would be great as a way to get local merchandise without having to venture out of the hotel, however what we unfortunately experienced was a smooth talking vendor who sold us merchandise literally 9 times the price of even the gift shop. As a guest trying to relax on vacation, inside of the hotel area, the last thing you think of is you are being cheated or scammed, shameful.

Staff was amazing and made the entire stay worthwhile. Everyone was kind, friendly, and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and fun. Can't say enough good things

It rained every day we were there. I know that was out of the resorts hands but it still put a damper on our trip. Also the sales presentation/pitch also took most of my day. I don't think that should be a part of anyone's stay. Even though they were polite it still felt very much pressured.

Best part was the staff. They allowed us to leave at 5pm. No charge. They gave us a room to shower in before we went no charge. They were completely wonderful to us through our stay. The negative. There phone system. Press delivery for food kept ringing no answer. Front desk kept ringing no answer. Wanted help with the bags pressed bell captain. Kept ringing then went dead. Guys you have to fix this.

The beach and waves made this an amazing trip. No seaweed like so many other resorts. We will be back!

The property itself is beautiful. Our building was towards the entrance and walking to the pool, restaurants,beach etc was not bad.

Staff was friendly, hotel was clean & very conveniently close to the airport. The shuttle was an added convenience.

I did not venture off the resort. The surrounding area seemed unsafe and limited. On the resort there seemed to be limited accommodations depending on the room you purchased.

A beautiful resort with very hospitable staff. We have two kids who loved every second of the pools and especially the beach!

The food was outstanding, truly the best I have ever experienced at an all-inclusive resort. The service was exceptional — we were upgraded and received truly amazing treatment from all the waiters and staff. On the downside, the bed was not comfortable, and the air conditioner was quite noisy. Also, from an eco-friendly perspective, it was disappointing that all drinks were served in plastic cups instead of glass.

We stayed at this resort for a wedding and had previously heard good things. I was not too impressed. I’ll begin with the positives, the entertainment team was excellent. There were plenty of activities all throughout the day to keep both my husband and I plus our two boys busy. There are several pools and beach access was super close. The food was mid, I expected to be more impressed for the price we paid. We ate at Portifino restaurant and service was great. On the other hand we went to El Patio and waited 20 mins for a menu and and hour and half before we received our food. We ate several times at the buffet and some food items were under cooked such as the meat and others were overbooked such as the pasta. The service members were quick and worked diligently to keep guests happy. The communication could be better amongst the staff though. Since we were a party of about 25 rooms for the wedding, we anticipated service should be better. My aunt and uncle waited 4 hours after checkin to get their room and kept being told 10 mins please. They did accommodate us by providing the kids with access to the zip line and arcade which is an additional charge if you’re not staying as a preferred member. The lack of communication was clear. We made the best of it because we were there with family but I would def not be back.

Beautiful hotel, amazing Italian restaurant

Room: 8 Resort: 9 Food: 2 Dining Service: 3 Value: 4 Rooms were clean and well maintained. Most rooms have great view of ocean and pools Resort is very nice, beach is much cleaner, access to mini water park and multiple pools. Food: Very poor quality. Low portions. We ordered fish fingers, it was served very cold. They have multiple restaurants. We tried sea food restaurant, Japanese restaurant. Both were worse. The irony was, even the Mexican food was sub par.  Dining service: long wait lines. The dinner served from 6 to 10:30 pm. We went on different times on different days. Every time, we have over an hour waiting time. Their service was very poor, lack of communication. Value: We stayed in two atmospheres. (1) Airbnb beach gated community, with home experience. Dined out at "hole in the wall" restaurants - well google reviewed restaurants. (2) all inclusive dreams Macao.   I would recommend option (1). There is a some leg work in planning and coordination. But you will get a better experience of punta cana than staying in resort.

Food was hit or miss. As a platinum member I didn’t get my bottle of spirits. The $200 resort credit was only for a few selected things. Wry clean resort and attentive staff. Could have used a bit more quality entertainment.

Amazing food and attentive

Nice property, big rooms and polite staff (be patients with the concierge trying to sell you a Marriot Reward). Food was not good. Breakfast was decent so fill up in the morning!!

The food was underwhelming. Drinks were in small weathered plastic glasses. Restaurants were mostly non-air conditioned. Rooms smelled of mold and were not regularly serviced. Butler was no where to be found and did not respond promptly to requests. I could easily rate my experience a 2, but feel that this would be a punitive score.
