Avani Cancun Airport

Escogí este hotel por la cercanía del aeropuerto, y al hacer el check in me ofrecieron llevarme al aeropuerto sin costo y así sucedió, al Salir en 10 minutos llegaos al aeropuerto, en la habitación tiene todo lo necesario ( plancha, burro de planchar cafetera y otras amenidades) por lo que recomiendo que se hospeden

Don’t stay here if you want a shuttle to the airport. They take only 7 people on the hour and will not pick you up from the airport. When you question the false advertisement offering a free shuttle they laugh at you. The manager also will laugh at you. If you stay here a taxi is 40usd to the airport which is only 5minutes away. Avoid this place!!

Belles chambres propres et spacieuses mais hôtel d’aéroport avec service assez moyen, piscine petite, et salle de sport petite avec seulement un équipement.

Excelente hotel. Fui con mi hija de 11 años y la pasamos excelente. Cerca de un mall muy entretenido. Algunas recomendaciones: 1. Informen que hay un shuttle que te puede recoger del aeropuerto si coordinas con tiempo. No lo coordine y tuve que pasar por el infierno de pedir un taxi en el aeropuerto de cancun. 2. Pongan toallas y elementos de aseo en el gimnasio como alcohol y papel toalla para limpiar.

Good hotel, next to the airport like 7 minutes , they also have a shuttle to airport and they are next to the new shopping outlet

Our reception wasn’t the friendliest. When we arrived at 3 pm with no one in front of us they took over 30 minutes to help us and kept our passports while doing so. When we asked for a shuttle for the following morning we were informed we would have to take one an hour earlier then we needed to be accommodated. I would have appreciated information ahead of time letting us know that booking a shuttle beforehand was advised, even better would be an option to do this when booking.

No sé por qué dice que es un hotel de Aeropuerto si no está tan cerca del mismo y, peor, no tienen transportación hacia y desde el mismo. Ah, no, sí, pero tienes que reservar con 24 horas de antelación (cosa que en ningún lado dice). Además, primero nos habían dicho dicho que el servicio era entre 6 a.m. y 10 p.m. y al otro día nos dicen que servicio es hasta las 2 de la tarde. Tuvimos que pagar las tasas altísimas de taxi que existen en Cancún, cosa que no teníamos planeado, porque rentamos en un hotel de aeropuerto, por la transportación. Ah, y para el que se lo pregunta, si intentamos reservar la transportación, pero jamás nos contestaron el teléfono, estuve durante dos días marcando al teléfono que proporcionan, jamás atendieron. No fue sino que hasta una agente de Hoteles.Com/Expedia me ayudó a enlazarme con ellos la misma noche de mi reservación. El trato del personal de recepción deja muchísimo qué desear. Ciertamente, el que nos atendió por la mañana era mucho más amable (aunque poco nos pudo resolver). El desayuno, que aunque variado, fue terrible. Lo único que podemos salvar de esta experiencia es que las camas están muy cómodas. Además, contratamos el servicio de Lazy Sunday, el cual nos dieron un precio por la noche y otro por la mañana. Así que, mi conclusión es que si quieres quedarte en una cama cómoda, desayunar bastante mal, que los de recepción no resuelvan y que te dejen tirado en el aeropuerto, este es el hotel para ti.

Perfect for my brief overnight in Cancun. The staff were excellent and the airport shuttle prompt. Thank you.

Water leading inside the rooms

I was check in at 4:00pm instead of 3:00pm. The room I was given was dirty and had mold around vent and door. So I was given another room it was much better but would not rebook this hotel.

We found food from other people at the fridge, plus the ac did not work at any time

La habitación muy bonita y cómoda Lastima de limpieza Estuve dos dias El segundo día no me pusieron toallas limpias No cambiaron las tasas que deje del día anterior No pusieron aguas nuevas Dejaron todo tirado en mi habitación.

En general el personal de recepción es bastante amable, pero no así la mayoría del personal del restaurante, pues a pesar de no tener gente sobre todo en el desayuno, eran bastante lentos y no prestaban atención a los huéspedes. Los meseros se esmeraban por atender al gerente del hotel, pero con los huéspedes el trato era súper indiferente- con todos por igual. Sobre la habitación, la misma estaba limpia a simple vista, pero había muchos detalles cuando prestabas atención que te hacen ver que no hacen una limpieza profunda entre los huéspedes que se retiran y los que van ingresando. Algo inusual es que en dos ocasiones por la madrugada he descubierto que no había agua, por lo que aquellos con vuelo nocturno seguramente lo encontrarían complicado.

Its a clean and serene environment. The room is clean and comfortable

Super basic. Understaffed, poor internet, cobwebs on the walls of our room and a smell of mold. Bathrooms was tiny, the door hit the toilet and the shower had empty bottles of soap and shampoo. The walls in the hallways look uneven and with cheap wallpaper. No valet parking. How is this called a four star hotel?

The property is excellent and good value and very clean

Personnel très sympathique, chambre propre et spacieuse.

Clean comfortable room. Bathroom could use a better clean. Frame at the base was rusting and the blow drier looked a little grimy. Food was decent and staff were friendly

This property is beautiful. The staff in the restaurant were awesome! My room was beautiful, but the air conditioner would not shut off! It was 16 C in my room. I did have maintenance come once and make it warmer, but when I returned from supper, it was 16 C again. The front desk clerk didn't seem to care less. Further, I booked the airport shuttle for 5 AM, and was informed in the morning, it might be 10-15 minutes late due to traffic (how much traffic can there be at 5 in the morning?). As a result I had to take alternative transportation and was almost late for my flight. Beautiful property, staff could learn a thing or two about customer service.

Vi havde booket suiter og værelserne var dejligt store og rummelige. Morgenmaden var fornuftig og placeringen tæt ved lufthavnen var super. Outlet området lige ved siden af hotellet var også fint, og der er adskillige spisesteder som man kan besøge.

Avani Cancun is in the middle of nowhere and staff only speak one language. the televisions are all in one language and are not capable of changing to another language we even asked a staff member and they couldn’t figure it out as well. Ahead of the trip I emailed requesting a shuttle ride to and from the airport and no one ever responded to my email after calling the hotel and being instructed to send an email with the request and then they still never responded to my request. As a result we ended up paying an inflated USD charge to get a taxi ride to the hotel. Won’t stay there again.

Cercano al aeropuerto y cama cómoda. El aire sonaba como agua cayendo. Era un sonido molesto y muy ruidoso e incómodo. Algunos enchufes no funcionaban, así como tampoco la lampara de pie, probablemente por que al enchufe no le llegaba electricidad.

Shower room door was broken and wouldn't close.

We got the king size bedroom, it’s kind of a small room. The bed it’s really confortable and the water pressure in the shower it’s good as well as the toiletries in the bathroom. At night you can hear other people noises from other rooms. The breakfast buffets option is good given the price per person, with plenty food options to choose from. The check in & check out process was fast. If you are looking for a hotel near the Airport this one is a great option.

My room was very clean and comfortable. It is not the large resort that I was expecting from the photos.

El recepcionista que nos recibió, fue bastabte despota y no dio ninguna información aunque se le solicitó, sobre wifi ybservicio de taxis. Nunca contestaron en recepción al intentar comunicarnos dwsde la habitación. Por lo demas todo excelnte

Very disappointing. When I got to the hotel it took a long time to check in because there was only one person working. I was very hungry and needed to eat. Instead of going immediately to my room, I went to the restaurant only to wait almost one hour for my food to arrive. It turns out they were too busy because they were also cooking for the people staying at the hotel across the street, what? Yes, that was my reaction I heard this from an employee. But they acted like this was very common and could care less about me and the other people who were hungry and waiting for their food. The room was okay but nothing special, the shower area had mold though and the soap dispenser was out. The only good thing about this hotel was their location close to the airport but the lack of professional service from their employees does certainly will keep me away from coming back. Beware travellers.

Check in very late after a cancelled flight. Staff was very professional and quick through the check-in process.

The service at the reception and the restaurant were great. The hotel is clean and the bed was very comfortable!

El servicio de shuttle que programamos no llegó por nosotros al aeropuerto. Tuvimos que llamar, después de una hora de estar esperando para recordarles que pasaran por nosotros. El servicio en el restaurante extremadamente lento, un menú con muy pocas opciones y precios muy altos. Al dejar el hotel, olvidé una sudadera en el cuarto, mas no tardé más de dos horas en llamar al hotel para pedir que me la guardaran, pues volvería por ella unos días después. El hotel nunca me apoyó en ello (aunque estuve llamando durante varios días). Simplemente se me dijo que la sudadera nunca "fue encontrada" (aún cuando dije exactamente dónde la había dejado). No recomiendo este lugar en lo absoluto.

Worst front desk ever. Waited for over an hour to be checked in on a standard night. Avoid this hotel.

This is great and safe place to stay, very convenient close to the airport.

This hotel was very clean and very cheap option when our flight got cancelled. It’s near the airport but not AT the airport- about a $30 taxi ride. There is a shuttle but it’s not always available when you need it. The staff I did interact with were all nice but it feels maybe a bit understaffed it’s hard to get someone on the phone or help when you need it, but in the morning it’s not hard to find someone. Overall the hotel is a very nice option for the price, it’s by the airport so nothing to do around- you need a taxi to go anywhere but we had no problem taking one to go out. Pool is small but the hotel is clean and good enough in a pinch for sure

This hotel is right across the street from the Go Grand mall. That was a good perk. Hotel room was clean and staff was nice.

Suite parfaite ! Petit déjeuner super. Pratique car proche de l’aéroport et d’un outlet mais loin des plages ou des intérêts touristiques. Juste pratique pour l’aéroport.

El Hotel Avani Airport Cancún es una excelente opción si se busca cercanía al aeropuerto. Sus instalaciones son modernas, bien equipadas y con detalles muy agradables que hacen la estadía cómoda. No está en la zona hotelera ni en el centro, pero su ubicación estratégica para vuelos lo convierte en una alternativa muy práctica. La relación calidad-precio es sobresaliente, ideal para quienes necesitan comodidad y eficiencia cerca del aeropuerto. Muy recomendado.

The rooms were great, food good. Staff friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to airport! YAY! Hotel should provide a big water dispenser to refill water bottles, SO many plastic water bottles —terrible for the environment. Breakfast buffet was a bit pricey if you are a small breakfast eater, $20 per person if you don’t get it included in your room. I was on the 5th floor and the plumbing squealed and screamed incessantly until everyone quieted down and went to bed. I thought it was a fire alarm! I would stay here again, close to airport.

Ok for a overnight stay for early outbound flights. Quiet and room ok. Transfer has to be reserved a day in advance. Rooms and hotel ok, but not enough human ressources. They are permanently overwhelmed. We had to wait 1 hour for dinner.

Fantastic stay! Friendly front staff, beautiful new installations, and comfortable rooms. But the real highlight was the AMAZING breakfast - delicious options and top-notch quality. Highly recommend!

Everything was excellent! Conveniently located next to a mall with great food and shopping options. Rooms are modern, spacious and clean. The buffet was great, staff are friendly and helpful. Overall great experience.
