Sleep Inn Bowling Green North

Check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and the hotel was quiet. My son enjoyed the pool (it was abut chilly though). We will most likely be staying here again on our next trip to Bowling Green.

This Sleep Inn is lovely! Very clean, streamlined furnishings, and comfortable bed and pillows. Nice breakfast spread. We were on the third floor and the elevator wasn’t responding when I was trying to use it in the morning to go down for breakfast. I pushed the button several times and waited almost 10 minutes! Finally the elevator opened so I chanced it and rode it down to breakfast. On my return ride I remarked to a staff member who was beside me that it seemed the elevator had some trouble earlier. She replied “ Yes, that happens a lot , they always have to fix it”. Now that’s more than a little concerning. I was in love with this place until the elevator trouble. But otherwise Sleep Inn is a 5!

We were given a room on the 4th floor.This would have been fine except for the fact that the 4th floor elevator button was broken. This meant for the 2 nights we were there we had to push the button to go to the 3rd floor, then find the stairs down the hall, and take the stairs to the 4th floor. This is very inconvenient when traveling with someone with a mobility issue due to their hip and when carrying up a bunch.of luggage. This was mentioned at check out when i was asked "how my stay was" and there was litlerqlly zero respnse given by the desk clerk. He just kept checking me out no " sorry for the inconvenience " or anything.There was also no coffee in the rooms with the coffee pot

The elevator button for the 4th floor was broken so you have to take it up to 3 and take the stairs the rest of the way. Very inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage. The comforter had a stain on it. Otherwise, decent. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast lousy.

Wasn't good. Elevator didn't work. Our room was on the third floor. Our room key wouldn't operate the outside door nearest out room so we had to walk from the main entrance. Eating breakfast we had to listen to a pearsing alarm from the malfunctioning third floor electrical box. The place was falling apart. Will not come back!

Very clean, nice pool, very comfortable bed and enjoyed the walk-in shower. We were unable to access internet from our room despite repeated attempts yet no problem from the lobby, pool area or breakfast area.mBreakfast was much less than we had expected..no eggs, bagels,or different types of bread. Overall though we would return.

The stay was good all but the pool is was very cold and the kids couldnt llay in it due to being to cold

Very clean and well maintained. Was disappointed when facility lost electricity in a.m. when trying to get ready to leave.

My room had an empty beer can in it sitting on the floor. I can’t imagine my room was very clean since I ended up getting sick after my stay. When I checked in I was asked for my name, address, to provide a credit card to put on file, and then I was told the breakfast hours and handed my keys. It was odd that I didn’t have to give them my license, car information, and wasn’t even told how to get to my room. Lastly, the property looked okay overall. There was a seating area in the back that felt very private, which was nice. The fitness center was extremely small so I didn’t end up using it because someone else was already in there and having to work around them wouldn’t have been enjoyable for either of us.

Nice friendly staff. Gym and heated pool was a plus.

This was the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in over the years. The comfort their was extremely good.

The first room we were given smelled like a sewer and the bathroom was less than clean. They moved us to another room, which was nice of them, but, again, the carpet was dirty and the bathroom shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned. I chose this hotel because it was recommended on Hotels.com, and received a high rating for cleanliness, but was very disappointed. I'm not sure I would trust them again.

The hotel seems older but is very well kept and clean.

Rooms were very clean!

The night attendant eith the red hair and beard was very kind helpful and understanding. However, given the cleanliness and stenches inside the hotel, as well as bed bugs in our first room we occupied, i do not see how this property received such accolades as an outstanding rating.

We got in late and got to the room. The toilet paper was almost empty, the room wasn’t very clean with a few gnats flying around. Multiple sticky spots on counters and the floor wasn’t swept. There were fingernail clippings on the bathroom floor. The person at the desk did not tell us what time breakfast was over, and it wasn’t posted anywhere in the room or lobby so we went down 20 minutes before and there was absolutely nothing. Our options were waffles, white bread (they had no butter) or oatmeal. We were beyond disappointed with this property and finding it hard to understand why it is given such great reviews because this was not our experience. The only good thing is the staff was friendly.

Room was nice and clean, floor was quiet and we really enjoyed our stay there. Breakfast was ok.

Hotwl was not clean. Advised the front desk of stained comforter, stains on the walls(maybe blood) amd someone elses dirty wash towel left in the bathroom hanging on the shower. Nothing was sone to clean up the nastiness.

This was the cleanest hotel I've stayed in over the last few years. The room, hallways and common areas were noticeably clean. It seems they have a staff that is dedicated to keeping the property nice!

Very nice and clean property. Safe and great breakfast area. Stay there several times when in the area.

Pillows were terrible

The age of the inn shows, but it was clean. The bathroom door in room 210 needs to be hung better; it only latches with great effort/force. My biggest complaint, though, is the lack of posted hours for breakfast and the early closing of it. We were not told the hours upon check-in, and when we went down just after 9AM, breakfast was closed. Check out isn’t until 11, so breakfast to 930 or 10 would be usual and appreciated. And we weren’t the only ones who showed up just after 9 to eat. The staff wouldn’t even “toss us a bone” of any of the leftover food they had just taken away.

Very quiet and very clean. Good breakfast. The only concern was no hand-bar in the shower for an older individual to grasp.

Could be cleaner. Unfortunately, our room was across from the elevator and ice maker. The shower was a trickle and the tub didn't drain so you get to stand in ankle deep soapy water...

The bed was very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. The room was clean. Everything was in working order. The only downside would be the usual noise from hotel guests going down the hall, or walking upstairs.

The shower doors were not ideal. My family prefers privacy when they’re taking a shower, and they were clear glass. It was very cold outside and when we got to our room, air conditioning was on and it was 57° in our room. The breakfast was less than desirable. The food seemed very processed and packaged, and it had a very bad taste to it.

Well at first seemed nice . Newer hotel good check in and the first thought of the room was small but smelled good and was clean , first issue was the shower every setting on the showerhead would beat you to death, then upon going to sleep I noticed there was so much light coming in from the door (all the way around it ) it didn't get dark in the room much at all , little things such as the TV remote barely working the bright light blinking from the fire detector,low battery on the thermostat and the AC/heat never shuts off ,even when in that position, with it being a newer hotel I'm not sure why the AC/heat unit was rattling and loud but it kept me up with the other things all night , closer to morning it got we quickly noticed the hotel walls seemed like paper as we could hear every car truck and semi going past our room to a business down the street ,then wouldn't ya know the alarm clock goes off multiple times , making it pretty much a sleepless night after a long 12 hour drive . Not normally one to complain but I base my choices off of reviews so these are things to note ..

The people in the room above ours were very loud. No privacy as our room was on the 1st floor. If the curtains were open, you could see right in.

Super comfortable beds. Very clean and updated rooms.

Air conditioning was noisy. But a great room

The room was not ready 45 minutes after check in when we arrived—and the gentleman at the front desk was not apologetic in any way for it. He said there was only 1 housekeeper. The room was nice. Breakfast was just ok. We did get a really good price on the room though.

The hotel itself was clean and quiet. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue for me was their refund policy, which I did not read in detail because I paid extra to get a 'refundable' room due to the reason for my stay. I booked for Friday night-Monday morning, but I knew my circumstance were not guaranteed (hence making sure I booked a refundable room). Friday night, changes were made to my son's hospital stay and I tried to cancel and get a refund for Saturday night- forward, and was told a refund was not an option because I had already checked in for my stay which included check-in for all the days booked, and they make no exceptions. So, maybe my fault for not reading into the refund policy, but either way, I will not be booking with them again.

We were not able to check in until 2 hours after check in time. I was told to go eat something and come back instead of an apology and some time of alternative or inconvenience option. Desk clerk was very short with me. I should get a discount at minimum. I rented room for a time frame and hotel should adjust time shortage. A deal is a deal.

A bit of a hitch when checking in. New person on the front desk. He was pleasant and worked out the problem. Good indoor pool grandchildren enjoyed. Room clean. recommend.

I made a reservation for six days. On day 5 before 11:00AM I informed the hotel that my plans had changed and i would not be staying the last night. They refused my request and charged me for the room and taxes and fees. I would stay away from hotels like this one that are very unscrupulous.

My family and I need a place to stay to break up the trip to Florida. We arrived late at night an unfortunately the night desk attendant did not seem to want to to work at all. I had to show him his own website ad to get him to do anything. He fought me on everything. Example- there was a free co available for everyone if requested. We asked for one and he said they don’t offer one…..until I made him call his boss and his boss confirmed it was supposed to be available. Also breakfast wasn’t even breakfast, they made some food, but not nearly enough for the paying customers, but then we saw a bunch of house cleaning staff come in and eat before their shift. Plus the juice machine was broken. Overall I’ll stay somewhere else in bowling green.

We were in town for my daughter's engagement and arrived a bit before check-in. Josh, the front desk attendant, had a room cleaned for us so we could get in and change and get to the engagement site. He was just the sweetest!! Our room was clean, comfortable and all in all a nice stay.

What a fiasco! I booked ahead of time on a nonrefundable booking for three nights for $180. I broke my leg just a few days before the trip. Immediately notified them that I would be in surgery and not make it for the first night but I definitely needed it for the second two nights. When I got here and hobbled in on crutches, they told me that the reservation had been canceled and it would be $250 per night for the next two nights. I spent about an hour and a half on the phone with the front desk, Orbitz, corporate, reservations, and customer relations. Everybody points the finger at somebody else and says it is their policy. If you pay for three nights in advance for a nonrefundable room, and you let them know two days ahead of time that you won’t be there for the first night, but you’re still willing to pay for that room to keep your three day reservation, they should have a room for you under that current reservation. Instead, it looks like they want to keep my $178 plus $500 for the two nights at $250. They do not understand what customer service is. They just have someone barely speaking English on the other line telling you that it’s their policy to keep your money. If they will come to their senses and act like they are in the hospitality business and make it right for me, I will amend this review. However, I’m done going around and around talking to a bunch of different people that will not actually do anything to help.

Staff went over and above to accommodate an early check in. Amber actually called me to let me know our room was ready. Had some issues with the room keys and they took care of it with no problems.

Manager at the front desk was awesome and went above and beyond fixing an Expedia booking problem. I got a receipt and confirmation but when we arrived (tired from driving 8 hours) Sleep Inn had not gotten our paid reservation from Expedia ( will call ahead to the hotel to double confirm next time). The manager fixed everything super quickly and upgraded our room. Will be back !!

Corvette museum right next door 😎

A few minutes from the Corvette Museum. Quiet stay. Restaurants within a few miles of Hotel. Good choice.

Chose because of proximity to Nat'l Corvette Museum. Couldn't have been more convenient!

The property was east to find and near Mammoth Cave National Park and the Corvette museum. Plus not too far from downturn BG.

A good basic stay. Clean. Everything worked. The breakfast was very basic but for the price it's worth overlooking.

The hotel has been updated. However the updates are done poorly and not enough of them. Hotel condition is below the high rating it has received. Breakfast was a joke!!

The area outside hotel had some trash in flower beds. The Shower head wouldn’t stay in place so had to use hose for shower. No shampoo or conditioner in holders. Breakfast was a joke! Bread, butter, yogurt and waffle maker and dry cereal. That’s it! No fruit, bagels or danish. Went to McD across the street.

Breakfast was not so good biscuits were hard and didn’t have eggs are meat. Room was clean the bathroom was needing some updates. For an over night stay it was good. I would stay again if I needed to.

Staff was friendly. Room was very clean. Breakfast is VERY limited to waffle, toast, biscuit and gravy ( not very good) and a couple of cereal options. No eggs, yogurt, fruit, or pastries.

This was an overnight stay on the way home from vacation. The hotel and room were clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. The staff were pleasant. However, unlike previous stays, there was no breakfast as advertised. There was only cereal and coffee instead of eggs, toast, pastries, etc. Per the staff, corporate people came in and abolished the breakfast claiming it cost the company too much. Won’t be back to Choice Hotels that can’t provide a small meal to their guests. It’s the little things that bring people back.

The breakfast was awful. The only hot food was waffles you had to make yourself. Just cereal and toast. The only fruit was oranges.

Room was nice, clean, and had a large bathroom. Only downside was breakfast was not that great. No protein at all, just carbs. Cereal, biscuits and gravy, white bread, and waffles. Everything else was nice and the kids enjoyed the pool.
