The hotel was well located and offered a great breakfast. However the beds were extremely hard. My husband and my daughter complained 9f body aches after getting up.

We really liked the roof terrace. Stunning views and we were able to purchase drinks from reception at a very reasonable price and take them up there. Breakfast was great. Staff friendly and helpful

Im writing this review to offer a strong suggestion regarding communication at this hotel. I admit that part of the issue was my own planning error. I should have booked the hotel for the night before to ensure we had a room when we arrived at 2:00 a.m. However, I have received accommodations at similar hours before, and I contacted the B&B through the Hotels.com messaging center when I made the reservation. Due to family circumstances, including caring for sick grandparents and planning other aspects of this trip, I didn't realize the hotel hadn't responded until the day before our arrival. When I called to discuss the situation and confirm our room setup, the woman I spoke with was surprisingly rude and dismissive. She explained that the hotel does not communicate through Hotels.com messages or by phone for privacy reasons. While I respect policies, a lack of communication can create serious issues for guests. Had the hotel responded earlier, even with the same information, I would have caught my mistake and avoided the situation. As a result, three young women were left searching for accommodations in Milan in the middle of the night. My biggest concern was not the policy itself, but the way I was treated while simply trying to understand the situation. Better communication could help prevent similar experiences for future guests.Women need to treat each other better in customer service. We already get mistreated enough, why be rude to customer whose talking kindly to you?

Room was good, clean and cooled when we arrived. Staff was very helpful. We really appreciated the ice dispenser at reception. A lifesaver during the extreme heat.
