It was an ok stay, i feel it needs more staff to meet entertainment for the amount of guest and pool areas. The same staff members from bfast worked throughout the pool, lunch and dinner. Pool closed too early at 530 for the workers to make it to the dinner and left everyone at the pool with no music,drinks or entertainment. The 18 and over pool there was no entertainment it was very underwhelming. The dj at the nightclub played music for himself i asked for music 2 separate occasions and non were put on. The club was a fail. DJ was definitely not pleasing the crowd. Staff was great just feel they are definitely understaffed.

El parque de agua para niños es muy bueno aunque deberian tener abierta la cafeteria ahi, es muy alejado de todo. La vista de la habitacion era fenomenal. Necesitan mas opciones de comida y abrir mas restaurantes al mediodia. el sistema de reserva para los restaurantes en la noche es muy complicado sobre todo para grupos grandes como nosotros que teniamos 4 habitaciones y eramos 11. Los empleados son super amables. En especial nuestra concierge Barbara y Adriana que nos recibio cuando llegamos y estuvieron pendientes de nosotros. En el buffet, Noe fue muy amable y nos atendio maravillosamente bien. En general, el hotel es muy bueno y muy limpio, solo necesitan mas opciones de comida al mediodia y cambiar el sistema de reservaciones de restaurantes especializados

The property is beautiful and the staff is amazing. The food is good, but definitely different options than in the US. We wanted a place with good food reviews, so no one would get sick, and this one had good reviews. The pools were nice, but you need to go out EARLY to secure your spot. Our only complaint was the closing early of the pools and the night club. If you want an adult only place, this isn’t your spot as there are many families. We would definitely go again.

Estuvimos 7 días en el hotel, los empleados desde la recepción, meseros, cafeterías, animadores con buena disposicióny muy agradables, las albercas y restaurantes en excelente estado, la comida de buena calidad, variada y buen sabor. El único inconveniente fue que me dieron habitación con dos camas matrimoniales, cuando iba en pareja, sin embargo la limpieza muy buena, los shows nocturnos variados y la playa súper limpia y con excelente atención. Muy recomendado

If I had never been to another resort in Mexico, I would’ve thought this place was wonderful! It has great staff, amazing AMAZING views, great pools and beach, and good quality food. However, there were things I didn’t love such as the quantity of food, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the entertainment. The people who entertained were great, the area where they entertained made me feel like I was watching a middle school production. Also, if the weather had been poor, I’m not sure there would’ve been much to do. All I want when I go to Mexico is to get all the guac and pico I can, and that was never in the buffet. I’ve always been able to go to a buffet in any state I’m in (from the pool) and find so many options but I just felt like options at the buffet were very slim. Rooms were great, just a little musty and could’ve been a tad cleaner.

The staff was friendly, the property was beautiful, the beach was clean and well kept, and the pool activities and teen club were fun. However, the food on the property for the most part was OK at best, and the worst part was the mattresses. It felt like trying to sleep on a flat rock, and I did not sleep well all week because of it. My family of 5 did not sleep well because of them either.

It was a good hotel. The rooms were amazing, snacks and sit down restaurants were good, the only thing is the buffet by the pool was terrible. The food options were bad. Let's just say my wife and I waited for the hamburger/hotdog cart in the even to eat. All the other restaurants were good. They had a dance club at night which was pretty cool. And the hot tub bar down stairs was a good chill out spot. The taco and sushi spot were great but it would be nice it they closed later in the day. Also its walking distance the Mayan museum. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

The beach and location of this resort was perfect. We enjoyed the size and space of the villa our family stayed in, but the furnishings need an update. The food and restaurant options were limited. It was impossible to make a reservation at one of the two restaurants for dinner. The food itself was mediocre, including room service. We liked the size of the resort for convenience, everything is walkable and close by, however, there are a lot of stairs. For those with disabilities or not as mobile, there is no avoiding climbing stairs in certain areas. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and public spaces were kept clean. The beach was beautiful, with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The sand in front of the resort was well maintained. Overall, we appreciated the number of beds and bathrooms in our villa. Each room had its own A/C unit. The resort met our needs, but did not meet or exceed our expectations.

We had a fantastic time at the Wyndham Grand Cancún Resort! For the economic pricing you truly get a fantastic experience. The top 3 highlights would be the staff (so friendly, helpful, and professional), the cleanliness (resort and rooms are well maintained and kept to high standards), and the food! The buffet is just fine but the restaurants and lunch spots do it right! For a first time experience at an all inclusive resort this was the best time! Would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a well priced vacation! Thank you Wyndham Grand staff!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was such a letdown that I feel others should be aware. From the moment we checked in, the issues started. The bathroom had a strong sewage odor, and instead of actually fixing the problem, the hotel simply poured bleach over it. This left us with a mix of sewage and overpowering bleach smell that never went away. The mini-fridge didn’t keep drinks cold, which is the least you’d expect at an all-inclusive resort in a warm climate. There was also an unknown banging noise from 3 AM until 7 AM every night of our stay. It was impossible to sleep, and the hotel never provided an explanation or solution. But the food was by far the worst part of our visit. You have to make dinner reservations, and they fill up within minutes, making it nearly impossible to secure a spot. There are only three restaurants for dinner, and one of them doesn’t allow children, so the options were even more limited for families. We did manage to get into the steakhouse, but after two bites of the ribeye, I couldn’t continue—it was genuinely inedible. The buffets were terrible as well, offering bland, low-quality food that never improved at any point during the trip. I’ve stayed at other all-inclusive resorts before and always enjoyed the food, so I know what a good experience looks like. Unfortunately, this resort fell far below expectations in almost every category. I would not recommend this resort, and I won’t be returning.

Room was dirty. Bathroom looked like it was barely even cleaned. No good ventilation so there’s mold all throughout and it smelled horrible. We were told by the front desk when we checked in that we could pay him a $50 tip and he would upgrade our room. There was no upgrade so he just lied to get a $50 tip. We were told to download an app that we could use to make reservations at some of the restaurants and it never worked then we went to concierge and they said we had to use the app or ask the restaurant directly. We then went to the restaurant and they said we had to do it through the app or concierge. Terrible service with that part. Service in general at the bar and throughout the complex was good though. All of the food at all restaurants was terrible. There’s maybe a couple items that were sort of our go to just to fill up on food that were decent. Mainly the fruit was good. Do not expect any authentic food here which was a bummer since we were looking forward to some Mexican food. You can go offsite though, and there are a few good spots for authentic food. Definitely look into a better resort for your moneys worth. Drinks were subpar and you have to pay extra if you want decent liquor. They will stop you upon check-in to try to sell you on excursions. You do have to do a timeshare walk-through which they say is only 90 minutes, but it was two hours long.

We had such a wonderful stay at this resort! The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with a smile. The rooms were spotless, and the resort itself was kept very clean and well maintained. There was never a dull moment with the wide variety of activities and entertainment offered throughout the day and evening. Everything was so well organized, making our vacation relaxing and fun at the same time. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a memorable getaway...you won’t be disappointed!

The Hotel is super clean and our room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and attend every request in a timely manner. Food was also good. The only thing I would improve is the noise at night due to room doors slamming! and other guests yelling/laughing in the corridor… not sure if they can advise guests to use indoor voice in the corridors after midnight. The beach is gorgeous, unfortunately the seaweed was too much we couldn’t enjoy it but that’s nature, nothing to do with the Hotel, just bad timing for us. I will definitely recommend this Hotel!

Quarto amplo, novo e limpo. Porém não tem onde pendurar a roupa de banho para secar e nau tem ducha higiênica. Cama deliciosa, travesseiros e Edredon maravilhosos. Sacada ampla com vista pro lago. Hotel muito bom, várias piscinas, muitas cadeiras na piscina e nas praia. Guarda sol na praia. Três restaurantes a lá carta. Ponto negativo: não tem buffet no almoço, só um a lá Carte e as lanchonetes. Senti muita falta disso. Destaque positivo a gerente Concepcion, competente, atenciosa, gentil e cortes.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was such a letdown that I feel others should be aware. From the moment we checked in, the issues started. The bathroom had a strong sewage odor, and instead of actually fixing the problem, the hotel simply poured bleach over it. This left us with a mix of sewage and overpowering bleach smell that never went away. The mini-fridge didn’t keep drinks cold, which is the least you’d expect at an all-inclusive resort in a warm climate. There was also an unknown banging noise from 3 AM until 7 AM every night of our stay. It was impossible to sleep, and the hotel never provided an explanation or solution. But the food was by far the worst part of our visit. You have to make dinner reservations, and they fill up within minutes, making it nearly impossible to secure a spot. There are only three restaurants for dinner, and one of them doesn’t allow children, so the options were even more limited for families. We did manage to get into the steakhouse, but after two bites of the ribeye, I couldn’t continue—it was genuinely inedible. The buffets were terrible as well, offering bland, low-quality food that never improved at any point during the trip. I’ve stayed at other all-inclusive resorts before and always enjoyed the food, so I know what a good experience looks like. Unfortunately, this resort fell far below expectations in almost every category. I would not recommend this resort, and I won’t be returning.

The staff was friendly, the property was beautiful, the beach was clean and well kept, and the pool activities and teen club were fun. However, the food on the property for the most part was OK at best, and the worst part was the mattresses. It felt like trying to sleep on a flat rock, and I did not sleep well all week because of it. My family of 5 did not sleep well because of them either.

The room, restaurants and the whole hotel were very nice and clean. The staff was so helpful and managed in a good way all situations. The only thing was the room temperature that was very cold and it didn't have heat option.

We had a great time at the Wyndham Grant Cancun. The hotel is lively, with families, kids, and crowds of different ages. All rooms were newly remodeled and updated. I upgraded for the ocean view, which was worth the extra. The rooms are not big, but clean and well-maintained. We were on the seventh floor, and often, there was low water pressure or none around dinner time since people were getting ready for the night. The hotel is not too big and has a medium-sized, homely feeling, probably due to the different outdoor levels. Plenty of green plants and palm trees added to the pleasant atmosphere. What made our stay very enjoyable was the entertainment team, especially Wiskey, who went above and beyond to keep us engaged and happy. We participated in daily water volleyball, water basketball, water aerobics, bingo, and many other fun challenges. The food was good, but not the best, because I am very picky. Three restaurants required reservations, and we had to try daily to get in. We enjoyed the Italian restaurant the most, which offered outstanding service. The second restaurant was the steakhouse, which was okay, and the Piña Colada restaurant by the beach. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere at Pina Colada restaurant, so we had lunch there every day. The buffet was not the best and was not to my taste. There was fast food all day and an okay sushi bar. It was a daily struggle for pool chairs. All staff were terrific, always trying their best to accommodate our needs.

The room was clean and spacious. The mini bar was stocked daily with lots bottled water and drinks. The food was good and the coffee bar was amazing for lattes, hot and iced. The biggest hit with our family was the amazing kid's club. The staff made our kids feel safe and well taken care of.

Had a rug in the room, that had a bad smell, does fill the room when coming back to it at the end of the day, thought it may be just the atmosphere, it wasn't. Couldn't remove as it is sitting between & underneath the bed frame.

I consider myself to be very fair, so please read this review if you are considering a stay at this resort. PROS: The resort is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pools are very nice. Every bartender I encountered was friendly and genuinely seemed to enjoy their job. Special shoutout to Orlando (lobby bar) and Antonio (Sushi bar) CONS: I don't think I've ever been to a resort/hotel where the sales people harassed me endlessly until visiting this resort. I'm not exaggerating, this was a complete turn off for myself and my travel partner. The food was subpar with the exception of La Vista, the Brazilian steakhouse. The beach area is very small, and they place the beach chairs close together so that everyone is packed together like sardines. I love the beach, however, I avoided it due to the set up. They don't have beach service for drinks and snacks for anyone that is not a member of their vacation club. Lastly, and this is VERY important to note. If you are not a member, you are pretty much invisible to the staff assigned to the pool areas. What that means is that you have to get up and go to the various bars/food places to get all drinks and snacks. If you read other reviews, you'll see mention of the service based on the color of your wrist band. All in all, I would not return to this resort. I've had better experiences at several other locations in the hotel zone.

Pros: Very Clean, excellent service, staff is soooo sonice and kind, lots to drink just dont get regular juice ask for virgin drinks and stuff if anything itherwise itll be watered down, they have activities cons: forcing you to buy their services like extreme daily forcing, almost impossible to book resteraunts on the app, they have 6 resteraunts but they didnt tell us we have to book 9am sharp to go there on the app, the app doesnt work so we had to go to front desk, the head staff (not workers) they treat their members a little better overall it was fun! beach was gorgeous place was good food is not bad certain resteraunts are better than others i would say 3.9-4.1/5

The check in process was horrible. It took nearly two and a half hours. I was advised if I wanted to modify my reservation, I had to contact Expedia. I called Expedia and they advised the hotel can modify reservation. The hotel refused to answer calls from Expedia and refused to take a call from me. I had to book an entirely new reservation from the existing reservation as advised by the hotel front desk staff. I spent another couple grand on that. Even with the new reservation, they continued to try and charge “fees and taxes” from me although when you book, it says fees and taxes included. This hotel was scamming and charging guests extra. It sucks that Expedia and the hotel didn’t protect the consumer.

Bad customer service (two of them outright lied to our face), impossible restaurant reservation, aggressive and persistent "vacation club" sales people and mostly unfriendly staff. The only saving grace was the beach (which was VERY nice). Will not go back again!

Everyone at the resort was amazing! Very friendly and went out of their way to take care of us! From Franc at the concierge who helped us plan our Thai Day bed! Enrique our server was top notch! Viktor at el Pino made my husbands birthday trip ‘ everytime we went into the restaurant he knew exactly what we wanted to drink and was on top of it! Manasas another server also provided service beyond anything we ever expected! This is just a few of the staff that made our stay! We will definitely be back!

J'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel et j'ai été vraiment impressionné ! Il est très propre, le personnel est extrêmement serviable et le service est top ! De plus, il est idéalement situé près de tout, avec un arrêt d'autobus juste à côté pour aller à Isla. C'est vraiment magnifique ! Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Pros: This resort is well maintained and updated. Very friendly atmosphere and very good service in overall. It is a kinda small resort but it's good enough to relax during vacation. It's all in convenient. Cons: Summer is seagrass season, very dirty ocean, but this is not controlled by resort. Also, this resort only has 3 formal restaurants, Italian restaurant is ADULT only, Steak house is very so-so, Mexican one is very good. I feel like too less food options, even though in Buffet which is much worse than Cruise buffet. Pina Grill(Pineapple head, Mexican) is the best restaurant where close to ocean front, highly recommended. There will be perfect if they can add more food options for this resort. I still recommend this resort for those ppl who are not food picker.

It was a good hotel. The rooms were amazing, snacks and sit down restaurants were good, the only thing is the buffet by the pool was terrible. The food options were bad. Let's just say my wife and I waited for the hamburger/hotdog cart in the even to eat. All the other restaurants were good. They had a dance club at night which was pretty cool. And the hot tub bar down stairs was a good chill out spot. The taco and sushi spot were great but it would be nice it they closed later in the day. Also its walking distance the Mayan museum. I would definitely come back to this hotel.

The Hotel is super clean and our room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and attend every request in a timely manner. Food was also good. The only thing I would improve is the noise at night due to room doors slamming! and other guests yelling/laughing in the corridor… not sure if they can advise guests to use indoor voice in the corridors after midnight. The beach is gorgeous, unfortunately the seaweed was too much we couldn’t enjoy it but that’s nature, nothing to do with the Hotel, just bad timing for us. I will definitely recommend this Hotel!

They have one buffet which is open for everyone. They also have 3 restaurants which are open some days but need reservation. They have an app for restaurant reservation. Staff told us that it opens reservation at 9am but it showed full at 8.30am. It means staff somehow made reservations before it opened for people. If it's so full in October, you can imagine the food options during holidays.

My group and I have stayed here three years in a row. While the place is clean and the staff is friendly, recent changes have made it feel more about the hotel’s convenience than the guests’. Housekeeping is great, and the disco being moved indoors was a nice upgrade. However, dining has become a nightmare. They claim to have four restaurants, but only the Paloma buffet is accessible without a hassle. They added an app for reservations, but it never shows any availability for the other three restaurants. Davinci is ok but served a very small meal when I ordered a limoncello fish. I mean the smallest meal I’ve ever seen. Again nice hotel but the food could be better for the price.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was such a letdown that I feel others should be aware. From the moment we checked in, the issues started. The bathroom had a strong sewage odor, and instead of actually fixing the problem, the hotel simply poured bleach over it. This left us with a mix of sewage and overpowering bleach smell that never went away. The mini-fridge didn’t keep drinks cold, which is the least you’d expect at an all-inclusive resort in a warm climate. There was also an unknown banging noise from 3 AM until 7 AM every night of our stay. It was impossible to sleep, and the hotel never provided an explanation or solution. But the food was by far the worst part of our visit. You have to make dinner reservations, and they fill up within minutes, making it nearly impossible to secure a spot. There are only three restaurants for dinner, and one of them doesn’t allow children, so the options were even more limited for families. We did manage to get into the steakhouse, but after two bites of the ribeye, I couldn’t continue—it was genuinely inedible. The buffets were terrible as well, offering bland, low-quality food that never improved at any point during the trip. I’ve stayed at other all-inclusive resorts before and always enjoyed the food, so I know what a good experience looks like. Unfortunately, this resort fell far below expectations in almost every category. I would not recommend this resort, and I won’t be returning.

The description mentioned a “different theme each night,” but in reality, only 1 or 2 dishes reflected the theme while the rest of the menu stayed the same. The fine dining restaurants also required early morning reservations since spots filled up fast, and their menus were quite limited as well. When we checked in, we were asked if we want to do any excursions & was told that there was a special anniversary deal, which sounded great. The representative also mentioned a short visit to a new resort they were building, supposedly just to spread the word. However, the day before our excursion, we got a call at 8 AM saying we had a “presentation” booked. We didn’t understand what it was about but they moved it to 10:30 AM for us. When we arrived, we found out it was actually a 1.5-hour sales presentation, and that the excursion discount was tied to attending it. They said we weren’t required to buy anything, but then asked for our photo ID and credit card, which made us uncomfortable. We declined at that point. They weren’t pushy afterward, but it would’ve been better if it was explained initially.

rooms were in good condition; the staff was exceptional. very friendly and helpful. they all went the extra mile when needed to help with needs. as for the food, well only 2 restaurant was worth the food to eat. Italian restaurant was exceptional. steak house was subpar to say the least. outside food was poor. sushi restaurant was ok but not great. Pina restaurant had good seafood and chef. buffet food was no flavor at all. this place is not a place to go if you have bad knees. a lot of stairs to get around. pools are beat up and need resurfacing. staff and bartenders are all great. Grounds were very clean. if you like beer they only have two kinds of corona and corona light. and alchohol is on a tier system. Nice

I loved my stay here. I just stayed for one night as a stop over between brasil and san fran - great decision. Clarissa at the front desk made the check-in a breeze and every staff member I interacted with was a pleasure: kind, friendly, and helpful! I used the steam room and the gym and the person working there was likewise very kind and helpful. I liked the two meals I ate at the buffet. My room was a sea view junior suite and I was very impressed with the marble floors (wow!) in the room and the entire floor. If you aren't happy staying here then you might just be an unhappy person! Thanks so much to the staff for making it a great stay I hope to return.

Great stay, The main pool had fun activities during the day and vendors for shopping at night. The beach was beautiful. The food was great. I like that we had the chance to make dinner reservations in the morning on the app rather then setting up reservations before check in. This helped us to decide what we were up to doing on each day rather than having to stick to a schedule. Will stay again
