Nickel and dime place, hidden charges a phantom charge of 120 after check in and stay paid for, then 5 days afetr trip over another 64 dollar charge for parking. Not under a roof just the front of property parking. Making money out of nothing, very subpar breakfast the worst i ever seen, clean place to eat but if cereal is your thing you be ok. Staff unfrienfly not helpfull not accomodating any needs, had to cut trip short 4 days refuse to consider a partial refund or even to check, unable to get an invoice for the stay to make my expenses, keep passing the buck around. No one knows nothing and everything was for later then forgot about it. The worst experience my company was going to bring another employees to stay there. We needed coverage at work for 3 months…. After my advice company decided to go to another property even it was 100 dollars more but with real breakfast included and with invoice to report expense, free parking Embassy suites is the real deal Residence inn was very bad. Stay away from it.

The property was actually really nice the only downfall for me was the bed was uncomfortable. But this was the best pet friendly hotel I could find. The staff here was extremely friendly and took care of us.

We were there for the Texas Tech nursing school graduation. This hotel was very nice and clean. Friendly service. Allows pets. One thing I liked about the room is that it had two areas with mirrors and outlets besides the bathroom available for getting ready: a full length mirror and shelf with outlets near the kitchenette., a dressing area with mirror right outside the bathroom. Shower only, no tub, but that was okay with us. Large tv that could swivel toward seating area or the bed.

The property is very nice and clean. The pool is indoor with fresh clean pool towels brought out often. The rooms are spacious & comfortable. The parking lot felt safe. There is a lovely outdoor sitting area with patio furniture with plenty of sitting, grill, & outdoor fire pit. We even sat in the lobby to enjoy drinks by the electric fireplace. It was a very pleasant stay!

Overall stay was good.. staff was excellent especially Jeremiah the bartender, and the lady who took care of breakfast every morning. What was offered for breakfast was hit or miss and the breakfast options were often late ..Please give the lovely lady who does this all herself an aide who isn’t also checking people in and out. The bar drink options were extremely limited if you were a wine or beer drinker.. this was a celebration weekend if graduation for almost everyone in the hotel, but there was one bottle of champagne? People actually had to order from door dash to have a celebratory toast. Other than those minor things I enjoyed my stay.. a room safe would also have been appreciated.

There was trash and dirty socks behind the couch. And the pool was closed, nothing was posted about it and we weren’t told until he was checking us in. The pool and rooms were the only reason we picked that hotel, definitely not location or convenience

Our room was awesome - clean and comfy and very big! If you look closely, you can tell that the property might be aging a bit, but for what it is, and the price we paid, it was totally nice. Oh, the air conditioner could have been a bit better. We had it set low but the air inside never got very cold and it felt a little humid in the room.

Everything ok, elevators jump! other than that, staff is nice, place is clean and seems everyone has a dog here, which i rather not see slobber and such but seemed clean anyhow, the rooms are spacious though, kept well and I'm pretty picky!

Staff was very friendly and tried to fix things when requested, but conditions weren’t great. Extremely dirty toilet, table and microwave. Also the sheets did not smell clean. Pro is it was very close to Texas Tech but probably won’t be staying again.

We stayed last month and had a bad experience. The room was filthy when we arrived and there was trash and dirty clothes found in the room. We spoke to management and they assured us it would not happen again so we booked for the Senior weekend. That was a huge mistake. The bedding had a blood stain on it, the mirrors weren’t cleaned, and there was an empty bag of chips in the window. The next day, housekeeping never came despite calling and alerting the front desk. This hotel, although relatively new, is dirty and run down. Stay somewhere else trust me.

The staff is just amazing. The cleaning staff, not so much. There were beard trimmings all over the sink, a dirty men’s shirt in the closet, and empty bottles under the bed. We brought our Frenchie and she found a pill on the floor and we were able to get it away from her. It could not have been worse.

The check in was good but room Was so dirty bathroom had poop on the toilet and on the set it was not clean hair on shower, it was not clean really bad! It’s a nice hotel but so dirty and it’s not cheap

We came into town as a sleep stop. Picked up takeout and were pleased to have a place to eat and use dishes. Like kitchenette option. Having the sofa and extra plus. Bed was very comfortable.

It was okay, but not what I expect from a Marriott property. We had multiple towels with holes, frays, or tears. We had a reservation for three people, and had a room with a couch pullout, but no sheets or blankets for the pullout. The hotel also apparently “ran out” of pillows, which is interesting. So, even after we went down to the front desk for the sheets and blankets, there were no pillows for the pullout. Would be difficult to consider returning to this property.

I love staying here. It’s convenient to the Tx Tech campus when I go to see my son play football. I don’t like the price gouging they do. There is no reason a night in Lubbock, Texas should be upwards of $200. The hotel is nice but not that nice. I know all about supply and demand but it really is ridiculous.
