Clean, comfortable stay a block from the beach. Beds were comfortable. Friendly staff. Easy walk to the beach and the shops. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit area as well as the indoor pool and hot tub. Would definitely stay there again!

Kids loved the salt water swimming pool. The door to the pool is a bit tricky to open. We all enjoyed the interior design and overall vibe of the place. Easy parking w/four level 2 EV chargers available. Note the owners don't show them on the app and it won't recognize your ChargePoint app. This is apparently up to each charging station owner. I just paid as a guest and had not problems after that was cleared up. The fourth EV charging spot is also a handicap spot so it may be taken by a non-charging/non-EV. I saw one car parked in that spot the day we left. Otherwise, I had no problem charging for 1 night and part of the next day. I imagine it gets busier over a weekend. Rooms were clean & newly decorated. Foyer and dining hall are also beautiful, mid-century vibe. Free breakfast is pretty good. Make your own waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits, sausage gravy, yogurt, bagels, toast, etc. Centrally located, very easy to walk around most of Seaside. Would come here again!

Great hotel conveniently located a short distance to the Seaside Convention Center. Restaurants and downtown activities as well as the Promenade seconds away. Hotel room was clean and nicely appointed and the kids loved the pool, outdoor fire pit and play area along with the buffet breakfast and afternoon cookies. We had a wonderful time.

Hotel was nice. Only big downside was the pool hours, pool didn't open until 10AM. Would have spent more time in there if it were open earlier especially since there's not much else to do before 10AM.

Everything was good, the pool needs to be cleaned and little bit maintenance in the bathroom.

Modern hotel well located in downtown Seaside. Staff very helpful and friendly. Check-in / checkout quick and easy. Good Wi-Fi. Parking adequate. No ocean view but a very short walk to the beach.

The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was great, and the salt water pool was awesome.

The guy at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. The service was top-notch. It’s a great hotel that matches its price. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was delicious. They even offer bike rentals, and my child got a scooter to rent, which was a nice touch. There’s a small playground and games for kids, too. The only downside was that the jacuzzi, which we were really looking forward to using, wasn’t working, and the pool was a bit dirty. I think we would come back here again

We love this hotel....our 3rd stay with our pup. The staff is amazing, the daily full breakfast is delicious and has a great overall vibe. Plus a fantastic location in walking distance to the beach and all of downtown Seaside. We enjoy the salt water pool and, especially the hottub...however, the pool was not heated and the pool area is a bit rundown and could use some updated.

We booked late in the day after a long day of driving and sightseeing. The hotel was nicely situated, a short walk to the beach, but we were only there one night, so were able to go just to watch the sunset. The staff were great, but the hotel could use some attention to thorough cleaning and sprucing up - just in our opinion - our room was somewhat clean, just could have used more attention to that.

Nice amenities for small hotel. Room wasnt very clean. Nightstand had food on it, lamp had salsa? Fridge had spilled food.

Hairs on bathroom floor when we arrived. Was not clean. Reported it. They didn’t apologize. Said they’d talk to manager and no one ever got back to us. Will not stay again. If a manager had contacted us we would’ve left with a better feeling. But no one did. The rest of hotel has a cool vibe. But overall did not feel clean

The first room I checked into wasn't properly cleaned. I was promptly upgraded to a much bigger clean room. Hey, things happen... They handled it well. Nice jetted tub in our room. Comfortable bed. Quiet! Nice.

Pool needs more places to sit. Grewt staff and assistance the entire stay. Rooms clean and tidy everytime. We love staying here!

The place was exceptionally clean, with high-quality hygiene products provided in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, bars and local shops. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and courteous. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were well-equipped with air conditioning. Balcony was a plus to really take in the views!

The bathroom was not clean

I liked everything about this place. I didn’t know they were pet friendly, so if you’re allergic to dogs, be mindful, lots of dogs. Other than that the breakfast was bomb. Lounge area is awesome. Very family friendly. Only things that I didn’t like, too much chlorine in the pool and jacuzzi. WiFi was not strong, it was patchy or not even working.

This is a nice hotel just a few blocks from the beach,the main shopping street and boardwalk. This was my second stay at this hotel. My room was nicely laid out and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast choices were excellent and the attendant monitored the food supply, replenished as needed, and kept the tables clean. I had an end room which was nice, but the Internet signal kept dropping. Also, be aware that the second floor on the ocean side does not have an ocean view nor a balcony.

Room are very nice and spacious

Having the balconies so close together made opening the window an uncomfortable experience. The room being next to the stairwell made it impossible to sleep without a white noise machine and the heat rises to the fourth floor making the hallway miserable.

I’ll start by saying this is one of the best hotels in seaside, hands down. It’s lobby is super cute and modern boho, as are the rooms. Check in was quick. Parking is easy. There were some issues however. 1. None if the usb chargers in our room worked and neither is half the plugs. We had to all charge our phones next to the door. It’s was frustrating. 2. Not too sure how well our room was cleaned. There was a big cup of someone’s old cigarette butts sitting in water on our balcony. Disgusting. Also surprising as this is supposed to be a smoke free hotel. 3. My bed was made with no fitted sheet. It was a blanket, comforter and sheet on top of the whole thing. 4. We had a room with a balcony. For as much as you pay extra I am surprised how close together they are and how little privacy you have. You can quite literally join anyone’s convo within 3 rooms and floors. 5. The ac unit was great in theory. After setting the room thermostat it goes on and off all night but never holds the temperature. We were constantly between sweating or freezing. 6. My biggest issue was billing. My mom and I were splitting the cost of the room so at check in we put both our cards on file. When we checked out we were told the whole amount had been billed to my card on the day of check in. They told me they couldn’t refund or cancel th charge. The beds are comfy and the mini fridge is a welcome addition. The pool is great and my kiddo loved it.

Family enjoyed our stay . Close to the beach. Clean hotel ! Rooms are on the small size .

The room was nice, but there was nor enough hot water for 2 showers. And the fridge did not work. We spent enough for each night and had a suit. You would think there would be hot water. Told thd reception dedk staff but was not told it was resolved. We wont be going back.

We had noisy neighbors. Staff handled it and gave us a discount without us having to ask for one.

Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They sent a text 2 hours before our check-in letting us know our room was ready which was really nice!

Building was fine, facilities were nice. The staff were not very helpful when we had a billing issue and got double charged.

We were planning to stay for 2 days, because as an emergency we had to leave a day early. Front desk person on Saturday July 26th morning was extremely nice and helpful. Great place to stay

Good location and clean rooms. We really appreciated the kind and helpful staff. We received a text notification when our room was ready for an early check-in. They went the extra step to make sure our stay was enjoyable. From free bike rentals, extended parking, late check out... We'll be back again.

We wanted to stay another night and asked the front desk if we can extend the stay. She said- yes, gave us a great room at a great price and even gave us the keys early ( or so I thought). It turned out she didn’t extend the stay, but double booked our last night. Imagine our surprise when they made us leave even though we thought we paid for one more night. The manager refused to refund us the money because we went and checked out the room and played cards for an hour in the room. We thought we have an access to it early. Even though the date mix up was not our mistake, our credit card was charged because we didn’t catch it. Beware, check and double check everything , because the hotel will nor extend any courtesy and is not interested to make things right.

The staff was amazing. I had a problem with my reservation that i booked through Expedia. Tony called Expedia and got my dates adjusted and my refund for days not used. This is my second time staying at the Saltline. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Seaside.

I had a great time here! The beds were super comfy and the property was right beside the main area in Seaside. They had bike rentals for free and had lots of info on activities in the area. Staff was great and I’d recommend for sure

It was a get experience. We enjoyed the location. It was central to everything in Seaside including the beach and promenade. I look forward to staying again.

Stayed for a quick beach trip, location is great, just a short walk to shops/food/beach. Breakfast was good with multiple choices, including blueberry waffle mix, my favorite. Pool and hot tub were nice except for a loud, overbearing family who treated the area as theirs. I think having adults only time in pool hot tub after 9 pm would be great for those who come to relax. The front desk was helpful when complaints of loud neighboring rooms, and kids jumping/throwing things around pool/hot tub area. (I didn’t complain about both, overheard another guest). Overall nice hotel, maybe starting to show its wear and tare, but location, breakfast make it worth it!

This property is located only a few blocks away from the main shopping and restaurant area of Seaside and only a few blocks from the ocean. The room was clean and nicely appointed. The full breakfast allowed for an easy start to the day. It was fun to take my morning coffee down to the promenade and enjoy the beach views. There were beach toys, bikes, and scooters available for guest use, too.

Great staff. Enjoyed the full breakfast. Room was OK, but could have used an overhead light and some counter space in bathroom. Overall, enjoyed my stay!

Wish more breakfast varieties...

This was a beautiful hotel within walking distance to downtown Seaside and the beach. The breakfast was okay. I wish there were more options available like ready made oatmeal and omelets. The seating was adequate. I loved the free cookies at the front desk too! There were, however, some issues, with the hot water. The hot tub was not working and the hot water in the shower lasted about a minute before turning cold. I reached out to the hotel staff to inform them of this issue and the GM emailed me back promptly to rectify the situation. I was given a partial refund for the inconvenience. I wouldn't mind staying here again in the future.

Loved the modern and clean spaces in the hotel and rooms with friendly staff. The free bike rentals are also neat to cruise around town. Although the breakfast is highly rated by others, we expected a bit more than mostly unhealthy items served on disposables.

Excellent staff! Breakfast was top notch!

Overall, the stay here was great. The best part was the free breakfast. You could make your own waffles, and in addition, the following items were available: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, 3 kinds of milk, apple and orange juice, coffee, and yogurt. It doesn't get much better than that. On the downside, the pool could have been a little warmer, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work, so things got a little steamy while taking showers.

Tony was working when we checked in, and he was able to get us in early, which was a bonus! We originally just wanted to inquire about the parking pass they offer prior to the 4 pm check in time. So we unpacked and headed out, but not before indulging in a fresh from the oven, still warm chocolate chip cookie! The night proceeded without a hitch. The room was immaculate and welcoming, the view wad pretty good from the 4th floor. The ONLY hiccup in our stay was breakfast for Friday morning. Due to a staffing issue, there was no breakfast, and after being told their was an issue, they asked us our room number, and shortly thereafter, we received a partial refund for the inconvenience. Which really wasnt one, because Seaside has a plethora of breakfast spot options. The only other thing that wasnt perfect was the hot tub. It looks like it could use a good scrubbing, especially on the surrounding "tiles". Aside from that, the bed was comfy, the staff was excellent, the decor was modern and beautiful, tastefully done, and the array of informational pamplets and magazines with activities and places was nice!
