PROS: The property was easy to find, the area felt safe, the entrance and room was clean, modern, and there were several nearby shopping options, including Walmart which is less than a mile away. CONS: The parking lot is shared with another hotel. The pool was outdoors and visible from the front parking lot, and upon check-in, the staff member informed me that I had one King sized bed, when in fact I had booked a room with two beds.

We stayed here for a quick trip to the area. The staff was great and the hotel itself was great. The pool was open and clean, it was way to cold to use but it was nice they still take care of it in the off season. The only draw backs are the parking lot could be a little more clean and the views aren’t great. If those two things don’t bother you (they didn’t bother me), I’d recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

The room was fine. The pool was closed the day we arrived and the next day the pool was reopened but the sign was left out that said pool closed. We missed two days we could have gone in the pool. The 15$ breakfast buffet is what many hotels offer for free.

Nice, clean, modern. Hotel bar closes pretty early, I think 8:30. The restaurant needs help. The food was good but service was terribly slow and they got our meals wrong because they aren’t staffed enough. I booked a standard room and got accessible but that’s hotels.com’s fault not the hotel itself.

Breakfast is not included and the market on the lobby was too small with very small selection of items. Walmart was nearby so we could grab things quickly there. Swimming pool is VERY small - smaller than shown in the picture. We stayed in a standard room with two queens. The room and bathroom was clean and in a good size.

Overall it was a wonderful experience. It was easy to find, check in was easy peasy, the room could have been a little cleaner but we did wipe down surfaces with our Lysol wipes (otherwise it looks clean to a naked eye), they had cookies galore(my kids loved it lol), it was close to eatery places and drive thru’s and a gas station. I loved that there was a main living area and a separate bedroom sleeping area. Overall I would definitely return with my family. We felt safe, comfortable, and welcomed by all who we came in contact with. Thanks!

The staff were fantastic. The two ladies who worked the front desks were just the best. They were helpful, kind and caring. I had to move on my first night from the 2nd floor to the 5th. An inconsiderate family with out of control kids running up and down the halls making too much noise made me move. Next morning a saw a cockroach on the bathroom floor. My last morning I saw a cockroach in my room garbage can. Upon leaving, that morning I saw that the ceiling tiles in the entrance way around a light fixture had all fallen down and were broken on the floor. I reported this to night desk man as it was 6:30am when I left. He didn't care and wasn't even interested in seeing what I was talking about. Quote that's someone for else not me. Not a place I would highly recommend. Also there was no food on Sunday.

I had a terrible stay at this property. I booked a last minute room and was eagerly anticipating my stay. The lobby was beautiful upon entering and I thought it was going to be a great hotel. However I was wrong. Immediately upon entering my room, I was overcome with a musty mildew smell that completely overpowered me. The AC vent was on blast in an attempt to cover it up I suppose. But the air was so thick, I felt like I couldn’t breathe. And the room was so humid, the carpet was actually moist. I thought I could tough it out, but upon wheeling the desk chair out to put my luggage on it, there was a dead cockroach waiting for me. I went to the front desk in my pajamas at 1am to request a new room, which they begrudgingly granted me. I went to that new room, which, while nicer, had almost the same potent odor of mold and mildew which was overpowering. For what I paid for this room, and the Hilton name, I would’ve expected far more.

Hotel looks and smells nice. Check in was a breeze and the bar area looked nice. We went to the room and immediately noticed a large reddish brown stain on the floor next to the table with the coffee machine (ewww). Curtains had some stains as well but the rest of the room was fine. The shower head was horrible! Big issue was, we awoke to tons of ants! They were all over our $10 cake slices we had gotten in a Charleston the night before, so I lost $20 worth of treats! I told the clerk at checkout and showed her the pictures and asked for a $20 credit however the manager was conveniently unavailable, but was told I would be contacted shortly which of course never happened. I would not stay here again, as I expected more from a hotel with "Hilton" in the name!

Room had bed bugs (large adult size- visible). Only gave us a refund for one room. Cut our trip short and we had to throw away some of our items, spending 4 hours doing laundry on the 2nd floor at 2 am. Not a fun trip. I'll spare you the bug bite photos but my boyfriend broke out from bites all over his body. One positive was greeting staff was kind upon check-in...

Check-in took over 20 minutes. The trainee did not know how to check us in, so we had to wait until the other receptionist was free to answer her questions. Even then, no one told us where the elevators were as we wandered in the wrong direction. We asked for two queen beds, but got one king-sized bed. The television didn't work, even after getting a second remote, so we had to move rooms. The air conditioner in the new room sounded like a washing machine the entire time we were there.

Good, other than them putting us in a handicap accessible room with everything set to be very low / short. This was a challenge for my 6’5 husband. The TV also turned off every 15/30 minutes, which was pretty annoying when winding down at night.

The hotel property is nestled in a quiet area. The Mount Pleasant area was quiet and full of restaurants and shops that are a short distance away from the property. The service at Check In was great. However, we encounted two employees at Check Out that ruined this review. The employees refused to acknowledge us Hilton Honors members since we booked thru Expedia. We have never had that happen. These employees went on to suggest that we should use the Hilton Website to get better service next time. These employees told us that they would match the rates if we had called the hotel. Our stay was from our 35th Wedding Anniversary. It was a simple weekend getaway from August 1st thru August 3rd. At check out, one employee (Ori) refused to give us a printed receipt because we booked thru Expedia. I personally asked three (3) times to confirm whether she could or would not. We left the property without a receipt from the hotel even if to show a zero balance. I do plan to escalate this experience through the proper channels.

Your staff were so friendly! Great having a restaurant open in the hotel. The bartenders Alexandria and Alex were great. Beautiful setting and so clean. Everyone was so nice and I had a wonderful time. Stayed for 6 days. Thanks!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. 10 minutes from the beach 10 minutes from downtown Charleston. Shopping and dining all around. Very clean and organized. Relaxing and inviting. Definitely worth it.

This place is in a remote location and appears to be extremely understaffed. They won't serve or sell alcohol on Sundays. The cooked food at the breakfast buffet was consistently cold. I expected more from a Hilton franchisee.

Hotel is clean and quiet, but a little outdated. Cookies are a nice touch! Shower water was burning hot and we had to turn the handle to almost off to get it to cool down. Area around the hotel isn’t very exciting.

Pretty selfish with the free cookies, I’m not sure what the problem is with that. I’ve also noticed some check-ins received complimentary water and snacks, not sure what the code word was for this service. The breakfast is also overpriced with limited options.

the hotel was fine, staff was very courteous BUT $15.00 FOR EACH ONE BREAKFAST, SORRY BUT NOT WORTH 5.00. EVERYTHING THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE HOT WAS COLD, COFFEE WAS LUKE WARM. TO US THE MUFFINS, BREADS ,ETC WAS HARD AND DAYS OLD. NX TIME A HOTEL WITH FREE BREAKFAST INCLUDED, AS WE HAVE STAYED AT BEFORE. THE ONLY REASON WE PICKED THIS HOTEL WAS THE CLOSENESS TO OUR SON AND HIS FAMILYS HOUSE.

Very nice upscale hotel. Service was great and we really enjoyed the bar and spacious lobby/restaurant are to sit and visit with friends. All ahead to see if there are any conferences. We had a softball group with kids running all over the place, eating pizza on the floor off the lobby by the elevator, and being loud.

Very clean - well kept - staff was good. Maybe a free breakfast of some sort. No breakfast available at other lesser quality hotels either. Just a note - breakfast was available - $15 each. It was excellent - made to order - with just about everything you would want and healthy choices too.
