Lovely quiet “boutique “ hotel with lots of space in the rooms. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. A great place to stay if in Bath. The only downside is the limited menu for evening meals which is the same every night. We found the contents of the menu not to our taste .

Nice boutique hotel. Bit far out for town but easy bus route and taxi cost £10. Disappointing that no evening meals . Room very nice opposite reception so great for mobility issues. Staff very helpful Olaf was great.

Lovely check in experience, super friendly and helpful. Room was big, clean and comfortable with a nice big bathroom. Arrived a bit late and left early so didn’t have dinner but what I saw looked amazing. Plug sockets adjacent to car park spaces meant I also got a small charge overnight for free. Great hotel for business and couples. I’ll certainly be back

The hotel was very comfortable, large room and fabulous bathroom. The breakfast were very good and tasty. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. There was a bus stop right outside and the bus took you into the centre of Bath and a taxi back if needed was about £10. My only disappointment was that the dining room was not open in the evenings which did mean you had to go out to eat somewhere each night , and that was a little unfortunate as on the last night it was raining profusely. But I would certainly recommend the hotel and stay again if I found myself back in Bath.

The hotel was amazing. Lovely, quaint and quiet boutique hotel not too far from the centre of Bath. Around 40 minutes walk and a 5 minute uber which cost less then £8 on average! Beautiful rooms with baths, honesty bar was great and a lovely touch. Staff were great, perfect hotel to see the city.

This hotel cannot be faulted. The room was amazing, large with a great bathroom, spotlessly clean. Minibar was stocked with free water and soft drinks as well as a variety of snacks. There was an honesty bar downstairs too. Breakfast was great with both continental and a cooked option. Plenty of onsite parking. It’s easy to walk into Bath too. Loved staying here and hope to return.

We were a group of 8 in 4 rooms, and we all enjoyed the stay very much. Comfortable rooms, excellent food, friendly service, so there’s little not to like. Maybe that the bar closes a little early at 10pm?

I loved the staff, the quiet, my junior suite had the view they advertised! No closet or armoire, but they did bring in an extra stand of hangers. Having a bathroom with a tub and a shower was divine! Housekeeping did a fabulous job! The morning breakfast is on the expensive side as you can’t just have the continental breakfast, but they wait on you hand and foot, and the food is very good.

Some minor repairs in the bathroom - window sealant, shower tray drain loose. Chair at vanity table stained on the seat and back rest. All other aspect were fabulous. Huge room, bright and spacious, complimentary items in the fridge and a couple of snacks. Lovely staff at the front desk. My wife loved it for her birthday treat.

Absolutely amazing experience here. We had dinner at Bouvardia which was incredible and the service was impeccable. Our room was so clean and we were upgraded to a luxury suite, the bed was so comfortable and the bath was lovely. The staff were all great and so welcoming, the honesty bar is also a great idea. The only downside was it was quite noisy outside in the early morning as they were doing works on the road and people were constantly beeping! We will definitely be back.

A beautiful hotel - all well kept and thought out. Loved our room with a stunning silver bath, spacious and very comfy too. Really thoughtful touch of birthday balloons in our room and friendly, speedy service throughout. Highly recommend and would love to stay again! Our room was really quiet and we had a delicious breakfast, all freshly cooked to order.

Lovely hotel, with friendly and very efficient staff. Our evening meal was superb- top end fine dining. The design and decor of the hotel was stunning, with high quality furniture, fixtures and fittings throughout. Lovely boutique hotel set a short distance from the city centre and easily walkable either through a nice park or along the canel path. Locksbrook arms pub only a 10-15 min walk for a drink and food. Junior Suite on the top floor was very comfortable and plenty of space if planning to stay for a couple of days then i would highly recommend. Free onsite parking and very safe

Absolutely gorgeous room with a stunning silver bath (which was luxury!!). Very well appointed, gorgeous property. Walkable (a bit of a hike but not too bad) from most things to see. Staff were really great.

Have stayed twice recently for family reasons. The first time was last minute and was a very lucky find. The most recent stay was on the back of the first. Such a wonderful hotel. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Beds are super comfy and the hotel is so peaceful considering you are so close to the city centre. Bathrooms are fabulous with bath and separate shower cubicle with rainfall shower head. The lounge area provided a super space for us to gather in as a family. Breakfast was superb with an amazing choice. The free parking at this hotel is an absolute bonus. Both stays have only been for one night each but looking at going back for a longer stay. This really is a wonderful find.

Excellent stay. Towels closer to the Bath would be great and also somewhere to put your shampoo etc. bath itself was fabulous. Room does look a bit tired, but still beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was delicious

Brilliant stay, gentleman you n reception when we checked in was very nice. Immaculate hotel. The only small gripe was the sunlight coming through the doors between the bathroom and the bedroom which woke us up early. Other than that it was excellent

This hotel is not as described. We did not receive the bed type we confirmed. Carpets and walls had stains. We tried and move to another place and they would not refund us. Do not book Bathen House. Restaurant overlooks the parking lot. Again, do not believe these photos.

Absolutely amazing Hotel. Jeremy was helpful from the begging till the end. He managed to look after reception, dining room and any requests we had. Room was so clean and service was very attentive! Will definitely book again!!!

I will summarise this hotel as a simple but meaningful ‘WOW’. From the moment we arrived, the hotel was clean, quiet, inviting with beautiful greenery and parking was an ease. Service at the front desk from checking in to checking out was second to none with advice on local walks, restaurants, spas and more. We had the master suite and it did not disappoint. Beautifully decorated from the furniture to the bath tub!! This hotel is a must visit, must stay and worth every penny. We will be back next year and we cannot wait! Me and my girlfriend LOVED it! Our stay at Bathen house was fantastic from check in to check out. The staff were all friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them. Everything in the hotel was spotlessly clean and rooms very comfortable. Breakfast a little expensive but absolutely lovely. Overall an excellent stay.

Lovely hotel, with friendly and very efficient staff. Our evening meal was superb- top end fine dining. The design and decor of the hotel was stunning, with high quality furniture, fixtures and fittings throughout. We had a lovely 2 days at the Bathen House and will certainly return for longer next time

Perfect stay, we can’t recommend Bathen House enough. Can’t find a single fault at all! The rooms were lovely, the food was DELICIOUS and the people were a pleasure! We have to give a special thank you to Jeremy who couldn’t do enough to help us, such a lovely gentleman. We hope to stay at Bathen House again next year and hope Jeremy will still be there! Oh and that the same chefs are there too!

The hotel was amazing. Lovely, quaint and quiet boutique hotel not too far from the centre of Bath. Around 40 minutes walk and a 5 minute uber which cost less then £8 on average! Beautiful rooms with baths, honesty bar was great and a lovely touch. Staff were great, perfect hotel to see the city.

Located in a quiet area outside Bath, probably 25 minutes walk to the centre. The staff is friendly. We did enjoy our breakfast on both days, it was one of the best breakfast we had. Cooked to perfection. The room is big enough. We had a really comfy bed. Nothing to fault at all.

Lovely hotel just outside Bath but only a 10 minute bus ride into town (bus stop right outside hotel). Hotel was immaculate. Staff were polite and professional and extremely helpful. We will definitely be staying again.

The hotel was beautiful, and the staff GREAT, I just didn’t realize it was not walking distance to the bath and shopping. It wasn’t too far, but you still had to drive and pay for parking in the shopping area.

Nice boutique hotel. Bit far out for town but easy bus route and taxi cost £10. Disappointing that no evening meals . Room very nice opposite reception so great for mobility issues. Staff very helpful Olaf was great.

Great service, luxury rooms and bathrooms. Lots of snack freebies in the room. Big tv, comfortable bed. Walkable to some restaurants in bath. I didn’t add breakfast through hotels.com and breakfast was charged at £25, which I thought was ludicrous, even though it was a good breakfast with plenty of options. The hotel kindly reduced the price to £12 to match what hotels.com were going to charge me if I had added it. Although they believe this price is a mistake. Highly recommended

Excellent stay. Towels closer to the Bath would be great and also somewhere to put your shampoo etc. bath itself was fabulous. Room does look a bit tired, but still beautiful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was delicious

The hotel was very comfortable, large room and fabulous bathroom. The breakfast were very good and tasty. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful. There was a bus stop right outside and the bus took you into the centre of Bath and a taxi back if needed was about £10. My only disappointment was that the dining room was not open in the evenings which did mean you had to go out to eat somewhere each night , and that was a little unfortunate as on the last night it was raining profusely. But I would certainly recommend the hotel and stay again if I found myself back in Bath.

Absolutely amazing experience here. We had dinner at Bouvardia which was incredible and the service was impeccable. Our room was so clean and we were upgraded to a luxury suite, the bed was so comfortable and the bath was lovely. The staff were all great and so welcoming, the honesty bar is also a great idea. The only downside was it was quite noisy outside in the early morning as they were doing works on the road and people were constantly beeping! We will definitely be back.

It has an amazing self-serviced bar, where guests can help themselves to drinks, and leave note with their room number to be charged. We didn't eat there so cant comment on the quality and taste of food. Plenty of parking outside, no AC in the hotel. Bit of a shame about the reception staff, which appeared to be quite moody..
