Very nice hotel but I found the bed and pillows to be very uncomfortable….probably just my taste. The staff were very nice but service at breakfast was very slow.

So so stay in hottest week of year. Room size good but design of room let it down. Restaurant not opened on Monday/Tuesday evening ( in a 4star hotel!) and bar in hotel disappointing. could not get room to a comfortable temp during whole stay, whatever we tried, and fan in room was completely useless.

Beautiful hotel and a superb breakfast. Spotless room, and very spacious considering we got the cheapest room in offer. Loads of room! Very comfy bed and pillows. Our room had a great view out onto the dene/back garden (room 5). High quality breakfast cooked to order, with help yourself continental, again very high quality food on offer. Great lounge to chill out in on an evening too. Good for walks around the jesmond dene.
