The room was very big and so was the restroom. I have stayed at other Inn’s at Cambria and the rooms/restrooms were small. The bed was comfortable and I really liked the hardwood floors. The room was clean and staff were welcoming. The Inn is right across the boardwalk and there is a restaurant next door. The room was a bit hot and I could not locate the AC unit. I think there is only a heater (fireplace) in the room. Although, there was a small fan in the room. Breakfast was provided, it was something small to get you going. The Inn was quiet, clean and felt safe. This Inn does not have a pool/jacuzzi.

This property has a great location, a decent continental type breakfast with both naughty and nice selections, delicious cookies upon arrival, friendly staff, and plug in for electric vehicles. I would stay here again!

Spectacular, large, well-equipped room, perfectly clean. Light, airy, excellent. Had a partial ocean view. Gorgeous location. Easy to get into town. Room was super large. Bed was comfortable, bedding of good quality, bathroom spotless. Breakfast was as expected for a continental - boiled eggs and such - but it was OK. Their breakfast patio is lovely. Parking super easy. Great access to boardwalk along the beach. Fabulous place!

The property was very well kept and the room with the balcony was comfortable even though there was wind. The glass windbreaker really helped. It was great to be able to hear the ocean at night. Being able to check out beach chairs and the electric car charging was helpful and being next door to our favorite restaurant Seachest was a plus!

The staff is wonderful at Little Sur. The property is very clean outside and rooms are spotless! I love being right across the street from the ocean and enjoy hearing the waves crash throughout the night. It’s a little gem of a place to stay!

Spectacular, large, well-equipped room, perfectly clean. Light, airy, excellent. Had a partial ocean view. Gorgeous location. Easy to get into town. Room was super large. We had the balcony room on the first floor. Nice view of the ocean. Unfortunately, the guests above us were very noisy, stomping around and slamming doors. Also, we had a major ant issue in the bathroom. When wiping the ants from the counter, I noticed how dirty it was when I lifted the towel and it was brown…..Gross!!! There was a notice about the ant problem in Cambria so we didn’t make a big deal about. The breakfast was good and there were a few options. The coffee on our second morning was watered down. Overall, it was a good stay. I would not stay on the first floor again. This was our 3rd time staying at this hotel.

The room was nice. Nice views of the ocean. Right across the street from moonstone beach and the boardwalk. Staff was nice. A few ants in the room. Fridge was a bit noisy and woke us up from sleep. It was a good stay and walking distance to food and close to downtown. Would come back

The room was very big and so was the restroom. I have stayed at other Inn’s at Cambria and the rooms/restrooms were small. The bed was comfortable and I really liked the hardwood floors. The room was clean and staff were welcoming. The Inn is right across the boardwalk and there is a restaurant next door. The room was a bit hot and I could not locate the AC unit. I think there is only a heater (fireplace) in the room. Although, there was a small fan in the room. Breakfast was provided, it was something small to get you going. The Inn was quiet, clean and felt safe. This Inn does not have a pool/jacuzzi.

This may sound trivial, maybe not. Great location for sure. Great views of moonstone beach. Very comfortable blankets/comforter. Nice fireplace/heater. Can overlook the 1973 era bathroom. It was clean. Barely enough towels for two and the new undisputed thinnest toilet paper I’ve ever seen. But the worst, was the TV. It’s big enough and new. It’s even a smart tv, that shows you all the streaming choices you’d expect in 2023. Problem is the owners have chosen what I am guessing is the absolute bare bones cable for the rooms. This includes a guide that doesn’t scroll, and channels that make no sense , like 11.6, not just 11 OR 6. And when you attempt to use the .99 cent remote like a normal one it throws you in to the abyss of cable world with all those cable channels you wonder who ever watches. And as a bonus, even though the TV WOULD let you stream, Little Sur apparently won’t spend enough on band width to let you watch apps on your own dime even. The simplest thing would have made the whole stay a more enjoyable. I know some people won’t care, but some will be as frustrated are we were. 🎅

Love the view in my room, however was given the lower corner side near the parking area thus, the traffic of people and cars made it less cozy. I can also hear the footsteps from upstairs guests. Tried booking an extra day prior to previously booked trip and the lady who answered was not patient enough in looking for a room and just said, “we’re full” and hang up but online, there were rooms available.

Nice room, good view but the staff and their service is horrendous. The first evening we go there the person behind the desk was not very friendly. The next day a young woman was working the front desk. I went up to the desk at 8:30, 9:30am and 10:00 no one was there. I was 15 minutes and still no one. We then called the desk, several times, before someone finally answered and asked if we could book the room another night the answer was a flat NO. Not let me check if other rooms are available ...nothing?? Then we asked for a late check out and she says "It is against our policy". I have stayed at some of the finest hotels in the world and this is a absolute first. I then mentioned we had someone in the shower and she says (at 10:30am) "You have 30 minutes you better be out by then" It actually sounded like a threat??? In addition the continental breakfast was not very good, apple juice, stale pastry, hardboiled eggs and watery coffee. For what we paid oatmeal, cold cereal, scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage would have been so easy to do and cheap. What a shame because the property is nice and the room was good. The service really ruined it for us. I have stayed at the Pelican, Sea Otter and Sand Peebles all great places. I would recommend those if you\'re looking to be treated well.

First and foremost we have been coming to Cambria for over 15 years, we’ve made it a staple in our lives. Always have stood on moonstone beach never have we had a complaint ever. Until now in 2025, Room was nice, bed comfortable. I gave it 3 stars due to short window for breakfast 8am to 10am, Also, due to customer service (Cindy) was not helpful at all, no empathy, not concerned for paying customers experience. We will not return to this location on moonstone beach. It’s so true people don’t leave businesses, people leave businesses due to people (customer service). Not feeling appreciated, not feeling valued. Definitely will continue to take our trips to Cambria because we love Cambria.

What a great find! This place is perfection located adjacent to beach access and restaurant, very nice finishes in great condition, super friendly staff, cookies at check in amd the continental breakfast was elevated - boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal as well as pastries. Would definitely return and recommend!

Nice confortable room with a balcony and a firepñace. The room is large including the bathroom. It has both a standing shower and a tub. “Breakfast” is served from 8-10. I would have like to have it open earlier. The selections included hard boiled eggs, fruit, instant oatmeal granola, yogurt and danish. I would consider it a continental breakfast.
