Americas Best Value Inn - Milpitas

We stayed at this hotel for more than 10 days, the location is great but the wifi at the hotel never worked. We constantly contacted the front desk and they kept telling us it is working even after complaining multiple times. The washer also was not working and was broken and we had to go and figure out a different place to wash our clothes. Also, Anil was very cooperative but there was an older lady at the front desk who was always rude when we tried to ask her anything and would cut the call on us we called the front desk. There were also a lot of ants in the room that would keep climbing the bed.

Overall not a very good experience. There were ants and cockroaches in our room. We had stained bath towels and stained bedsheets. You can hear everything going on outside, and someone was smoking a cigarette right in front of our door when we were leaving even though there are signs that say no smoking area. Ice machine only worked the first night of our stay, then broke on us. Our room key didn’t work the second night, luckily staff saw us struggling to get the door opened and helped us get a new room key. The room was cheap but we definitely won’t come back and we don’t recommend it.

Well when I first arrived and rang the bell it took a while for someone to greet me. Then she asked if I was a smoker and I am and yes it’s my bad habit but I don’t let anyone suffer from it. However even after that she put me in a none smoking room. At the room on the 3rd floor no elevator and pretty empty I had issues off the bat. Empty chip bags and a baggy that had some sort of crystal residue inside on the ground. Then the remote didn’t work so I tried to call the front desk so I would have to hike up and down the stairs but the phone didn’t work. So a hike I did. Took forever for someone to help me and then she sent someone 30min later. He however was helpful in the room and got the remote working at least. The floor was like ice and in the morning I went down stairs for the continental breakfast and there wasn’t any. No coffe no food. Wouldn’t go back or recommend

Very noisy and dirty area No parking

Everything was great about this motel except the parking with a trailer. They have 3 spaces up front for it but it is hard to maneuver in and out of it.

Cars in parking lot looked rundown and broken like they had been there for awhile. Parking lot was filty and the room was so so bit worked

Clean room, rather quiet, enough parking spots, cleaning services came by at a good time (10am) and the soaps came in a dispenser which made it easy to wash up

They didn’t provide enough towels for 6 people. The extra room doesn’t have a heater unit. They don’t have elevators, I knew that because this is my second time. I do like that they had three beds however the heater. Going here in dead winter my preschool might get sick. There is alway no breakfast, it didn’t matters to us. I just wanted to let who ever is going to book her know a head.

We had three queen beds. I love how one queen bed was in a different room and have some floor room for suitcases storing. However, with a senior and children we were placed on the second floors and there was no elevator only stairs. I never went to a hotel that only has stairs. We had double sinks and one of the sink was clocked.

The laundry machine doesn't work throughout my stay, 3 days. The WiFi is very unstable and unreliable.

Dirty, not worth staying here.

I mean you get what you pay for room smelled bad, turned on ac and it smelled worse, curtains, floors and walls were filthy, bathroom was stained and the bed was alright although the sheets could’ve been washed a bit better

Floor looks nothing like in the pictures. It is a thick rubber that smelled like oil. The entire room was dirty. Hair, dust RABBITS everywhere & the walls stained with who knows what. The pillow cases stained, towels stained, shower stained. I don’t think bleach is used to clean. The room just stunk. So bad we left after one night. Not booking again.

I liked the rooms were recently remodeled, newer furniture and newer fixtures. The bathroom had quite a bit of mold in the shower, but that is an easy fix with some bleach and water mixture spray. Everything else was fine.

The sheets, towels and blankets were all dirty. Very unhygienic place. I left after one day of stay.

We were there for less than 30 minutes. The floors were disgusting and The sheets on ALL beds had stains along with the pillow cases. The room smelled of weed and cigerette smoke. The bathroom was dirty and was not cleaned. The front offered to change rooms and when we went to the other room we had the same issues. The front desk lady was very confrontational and said we "we used the room". We had pulled the sheets back to look at the beds. We did not stay and requested a refund due to the severely unsanitsry conditions of the room.

This place needs to be shut down. Period. Utterly disgusting- the walls had holes in them, stains on the walls and curtains, dirty + stinky bed sheets. The floor isn’t carpeted it is like a rubber mat that has many stains and had many tiny pieces of garbage on it like it hadn’t been vacuumed in between stays. I had time in to WalMart at 10pm at night and get my own sheets, blanket + pillows! The water pressure in the shower is a joke. It does get warm but next to ‘nil on the water flow. Towels were dingy and stained. Countertops and desk were sticky and had cigarette ashes on it, along with cigarette burns. Smoky smell in room w/ a stink that may be mold I’m told. Many yellow and brown stains on the mattress when I changed the sheets. Slippery stairs, missing fire extinguishers, no or broken smoke alarms, no security, no safely lit areas in some of the non visible walkways to the back of the property. Very sketchy people + many cars out front until I left at 11pm just going in out and out as well as many people camped out in thier piled up cars (lthey live in thier cars). I ended up taking my things out of the room and slept in my car at the mall which was close by. I let security at the mall know of my situation and they actually let me stay in there parking lot because they are aware of this troubled motel. This really needs to be condemned- this is a health hazard and a very bad place where prostitution, human trafficking and drugs are definitely a thing here.

We are a family of 6 and stayed in a family suite which offered 3 double beds so it worked perfectly for us. Room was clean and affordable. We travelled to the area to go to a San Fransisco 49ers game and it was very conveniently located.

We stayed here for 2 nights in 2 different rooms (different reservations). Both rooms were clean and comfortable. First room’s AC was very noisy and while it did not bother us, it will be an issue if someone is light sleeper. Second room had newer AC unit so it was better. We checked in at night after 8.30 pm and the area was very quiet so can’t say about noise from outside. Harsh at front desk was friendly, polite and helpful . He was there both days when we checked in at night as well as early in morning at 5.45am when we checked out. We will stay here again.

No microwave. No coffee maker. Keycard didn’t work and it’s not working now. Will be back to fix my door lock because it was out of batteries and he never came back. It’s now 1 o’clock in the morning going to bed.

Staff not friendly. Toilet was plugged and they made us go to office and pick up plunger to do ourselves. We waited over 20 mins to check in, before someone came out to help, and was very rude. We will not be staying here again

Good for the value. Friendly staff

They have roaches, they allow people to camp out in their cars in the parking lot taking from actually customers parking, abandoned cars on bricks in parking lot. The staff speaks no English, and the front desk gave my room number to another customer so they accessed my room while I was in there. In do do not recommend and I’ve reported them to the BBB. And made sc police report because they put my life in danger.

Very good property for the price. The staff is responsive and accommodating. I was very comfortable during my stay.

When we got here the front desk agent wasn’t there. The fire alarm thing was not intact instead it was sitting on refrigerator. Found dirt on ground this is only good for travelers flying out early only stayed 1 night and it’s just awful.

Checkin was easy! Lady was really nice. Nice 1st floor room.

The room was clearly not cleaned before visitors, and the hotel was in such bad shape we left after 2 hours, because we kept finding areas that were not cleaned. Told the front desk and he yelled at us that we wouldn't get a refund because we stayed for 2 hours. We had only been in the room to drop our bags and then went out to run a few errands, so we only had been in the room for a total of 10 minutes, but he ran after my car to scream at me that I wasn't getting a refund. Terrible service, disgusting hotel, DO NOT STAY HERE.

Front desk very helpful.

My experience was disappointing due to the unprofessional and unfriendly attitude of the reception staff, especially the lady in charge. She yelled at employees, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone. Better communication and respect would greatly improve the experience for both staff and customers.

Love this hotel, great price and no charge extra for smokers room plus the two guys ive always been assisted with for past 2 or 3 years are very great customer service and have helped me out alot at times and given me good deals and great stays . I will keep coming back and refer this hotel to everyone o the area . Great mall and new bart station loterally across the street with bars and alot of great restraunts and fast food services . Thank you guys for alwyas being great associates .

Area is good, very clean and quiet. Very good and comfortable stay.

Hotel was average. The only food options available are 2 drink vending machines outside the hotel. They don’t offer continental breakfast as stated on the hotel description. They don’t have coffee or tea or even water available in the lobby. There is a coffee machine, fridge and microwave in the room. The housekeeping staff were extremely helpful and polite. They went above and beyond. The parking spots are rather small so parking can be a bit tricky if you have a larger vehicle. There is a big mall nearby which was great. You can always get food delivered to the hotel which is a good option. They do have a good selection of informational pamphlets in the lobby if you are looking for something to do. Hotel is a bit outdated, but overall a good place to stay at and get some rest.
