Larkspur Landing Extended Stay Suites Milpitas

The room was very nice, but it had maintenance issues. It was VERY difficult getting into either the side entrance to the hotel or the room as the key almost never worked, despite that we had it exchanged 4 times and had maintenance come out too.

The state started off just fine. The receptionist who checked us in was excellent. However, when we finally got around to getting to our room, the room keys did not work after many attempts the door would only open if you put the handle in the upward position instead of the downward position. The same keys had problems coming into the doors. They required a key to get in, it just was a real pain. The hallways seem to have lots of recycled materials sitting there for days. It was kind of an eyesore. None of that really affected my room particularly it was just annoying to see that. The elevator also felt like it was in an earthquake, continually shaking, and you never knew if it was going to make it all the way up to your floor. The second elevator broke down while we were there. And was taken out of service. Seems they need some service. The “free breakfast “during the weekend was very weak. Old cold hard boiled eggs cold old day old muffins. And rice. When we left on Monday, they appeared to be potatoes. Some kind of egg muffin sandwich. And maybe a bit more. Not worth the effort.

unfortunately your establishment had a power outage for 48 hrs or more, I was on a business trip and needed power. I did not get to enjoy my room, I was very excited to have a full kitchen, I will give this establisment another try when i come back to the bay area.

Clean and comfortable room as always, decent price although has gone up lately, and friendly helpful staff. Elevators were being worked on and seemed a bit shakey, but got me up and down without a hitch. Will stay again as long as cost stays economical.

No wifi no good Fake wifi mark on, but no wifi connection. Bath tub is unable to use for a bath.

Rooms had a strong smell that we had to have all windows open. Stayed two night first night fire alarm went off at 5am, second day it went off at 6pm, when asked the frunt desk why they were going off them didn’t know. I recommend if traveling with family to get another hotel.

Cleanliness of the outside was full of cigarette butts & the smoking area was right by one of the exit door.s. Dogs which seemed very aggressive in the area where the gazebo was. One dog which luckily was on a leash lunched at my husband. Noticed afterwards his jeans had a tear where the dog had jumped at him barking. Our room was dusty with evident dust on things & there was popcorn on the floor behind the dresser where we had to plug in the tv. We also got stuck in one of the elevators for about 15 mins. We pushed the lever several times to buzz that we were stuck but no response from staff. Found out later front desk person was on her 30 min break & there was no body around that covered for her. We pushed the button for elevator assistance & luckily that worked. The Lady that assisted talked us through a couple of things & if they did not work was going to put us through to a tech. After doing a couple of things the elevator started up & we got off on the 2nd floor instead of the 1st where we were headed & took the stairs down. We did advise st the front desk but all they said was they would make a note for stall the next day. Advised woman that was on about the incident. Checked with staff next day & they did not know about the incident. Was told maintenance was going to be there that day so they would mention to them. This happened on our third day of a five day stay. We avoided that elevator for the rest of our stay & took the stairs most of the time

I had placed the "Please clean the room" sign before we went out, but housekeeping did not clean our room. We were out the entire day, and when we returned, the room was still not cleaned.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean.

Room was ok, except their was dried blood in the bathroom.in the floor and the counter. See photos. I will never stay at a Larkspur ever! I will also not recommend your hotel to anyone. I will also post on social media. Yes, I asked twice to clean my rom's restroom. Tried to add photos your app would not let me.

It was ok, My room seemed dark, and even when the light was on, it made little difference. From a distance everything looks good, it's when you take a closer look it looks like the sheet has a few stains. When I first came in I didn't notice but after leaving the room and coming back I noticed there 2 shoe prints leading out of my room in the hallway.

Nice looking Hotel but Room #306 sorry mattress on the bed are terrible springs popped up Both myself and husband Could not sleep Rib Cage, Hips and Legs hurt so bad. Tossed and turned all night. The room above us noise like running back and forth. Sorry Never will stay there again And the female who checked us in mumbling could not make out what she was saying.

I have not stayed at this hotel in two years. My room was run down, in need of repairs and the fridge kept me up all night, so noisy. The TV and air-conditioning worked well.

Dark and dingy. Walls are paper thin. The bed was comfy and the shower head was amazing.

I had a one bedroom suites, When my son was pulling the sofabed, there was a white stain on the back of the mattress, I went downstairs to complaint to the front desk, she moved us to another room 1 door down, sofabed seems ok, but after opening up we noticed some blood stains at the corner of the mattress, by then we were too tired to go back downstairs. 2) In the bathroom the paints are peeling off, the cabinets also were peeling off. I took some pictures but I don't see how to add them here, the 3 starts was because of the area and the front desk person was very courteous.

Room was great. Nice and large. Bed was very comfortable. Linen clean & crisp. Good towels. Awesome location. Limo was very accomodating. Put me in a room away from fwy. Was so quiet with beautiful trees outside my window. He has great customer service. Luggage carts avail. Easy to get luggage up & down. Only negatives were the refrigerator & closet. Refrigerator ran all nite the 1st night. Very loud when you’re sleeping right by it. 2nd day, I saw it was on highest setting and I turned it down. It cycled off. Thought oh, good peace & quiet. But, when it came back on & off from then on, it sounded like a small car backfiring. Startled me awake all nite. I went down to ask for late checkout so I could sleep a little more cuz exhausted. Guy at front desk gave me an extra 30 mins begrudgingly and told me, don’t be late! I told him about fridge problem and he completely ignored me. Came down to get cart as leaving and talked to Jennette. She was very friendly, sympathetic and put in a Maintenance request. Checked out on time. The day before I had come back to room & went to hang up jacket. The whole rack fell down in closet. Not properly installed. 1 prong on shelf barely in slot. Not in support brackets at all. I had to pick up all my clothes/hangers and reinstall it to hang my stuff up. Huge inconvenience. And shouldn’t be my job. Didn’t know if any Maintenace on property on a Sunday. All in all, the positives made up for the negatives. Will stay again. Jodie

Great experience over7 days staying at this property! Spacious room and comfortable room!

Property is in a GREAT location ~ shopping center with lots of eateries to one side and across the street from the property. Rooms are all suites with full frigerator, stove top, microwave which is why we chose this property. We had the executive suite, which had a separate bedroom ~ more than enough space for 2 people! Rooms could probably use some updating and refreshing: sofa & carpets seemed a little worn. The "complimentary breakfast" was more your packaged/frozen food items. The only complaint that I would have, is that we weren't told that house keeping wasn't every day. We put the towels in a pile on the 2nd day, and returned back to the room and they were still in the pile. We called down to the front desk and at that time, was told "we were not scheduled for house keeping". We asked for a set of clean bath towels, and were told they weren't sure if any more were available??? Huh??? Husband ran out to the car for something and saw them sitting on the front desk, so stopped by and picked them up. Other than that, we would stay here again!

Room needs some update

Service is so bad that person assigned in the front desk is always away when you need help. There’s always problems when it comes to door knob/key.

Relaxing hotel. A lot of food options outside of the hotel. The check in/out was super easy. Friendly staff.

Terrible customer service wanted to checkin an hour early they wanted $90. Asked why and are rooms ready and simple answer was its policy but yes the room was ready. So we changed are close in the lobby and bathroom what FUN. In the room one half a roll of TP and not a spare Maybe why they didnt want us in early might use to much TP. Total Corporate greed

Our reservation was not honored?? Had to scramble to find a place.. was late to our engagement.. Staff was rude and didn’t help

Ive stood here about 5 times now or more, have always booked through expedia. This was the first time i had a bad experience. The employees did everything to make our experience and check out great. My problem is with upper management, when i checked in he said i had booked 2 rooms which was false, i had an original room canceled it and rebooked. I provide the cancelation number like he was asking for but kept insisting i had 2 rooms. This all took about 10-15 min to check in when normally 3 mins tops with everyone else ive ever dealt with. As i checked out the very next day i look in my account i have 2 room charges pending on my account? I never consented nor signed for the other room, now im being charged for a room i canceled? Both of them the following day clearing on my account. I myself had to call to tell them the issue that shouldve been taken care of before i left the hotel, But instead i looked and im being double charged. Thankfully the lady who answered the phone was going to pass the message along to reverse my booking rate to my account, but now i need to wait 3-7 business days for the reverse but if upper management would've take care if it when it happened it wouldve never went through and i would be leaving a better review. But unfortunately MANAGEMENT fell short on this one. This is solely on the man i spoke to when i checked in, maybe i will book in the future but as of right now. I will be taking a pass on this location .

Check in was terrible. Receptionist claimed both of my cc were denied when it was she failing to transmit the information. Ended up first in a small room across from the elevator with a door refusing to stay shut. Was "upgraded" to a suite smelling line someone 's greasy leftover. The room was secure and quiet. Temperature control was perfect. Found another guest's hair in the shower but thankfully not on the sheets & towels. Breakfast offerings were plenty and service was speedy.

This hotel only accepts credit card and they won’t run your visa as credit so beware. The front desk lady, Sara was SO rude and we asked to speak to the General Manager, Rich and he was even more rude. He kept cutting us off and didn’t listen to a word we said. The hotel was extremely dirty, there was trash on the floor of the elevators and hotel, the laundry room had clothes and towels on the floor everywhere. The gym was a mini corner that didn’t have anything in it. Do not stay here. The staff was terrible. The service was terrible. The hotel room was dirty. We had about 30 people stay here because we had a competition and we all experienced the same experience. Do not stay here!

This place is a good value for the price and it included breakfast. Its clean and conveniently close to Levi Stadium and doentown San Jose. They dont have a pool or jacuzzi which would have been nice.

I used to work at Larkspur and HGI back in 2000-2004 and havent been back since then. Had a great time visiting my old stomping grounds and walked around the vicinity. It's always been a great area and it still is...just how I remembered it but with alot more shopping and things to do. Took my family to tour the area, ate and shopped within walking distance, and headed out for my sister's baby shower the next day. I will definitely return another time!! Thank you Larkspur!

The hotel suited our expectations, offering free parking, Wi-Fi, and breakfast. Additionally, it featured a one-bedroom suite with a living room and a full kitchen. It also has a gym, and on-site laundry facilities. Its convenient location close to restaurants and stores, and being only 15 minutes away from San Jose Mineta International Airport. We will likely stay here again.

Room was clean but furniture and cabinets needs updated. Continental breakfast was ok. Hot food was cold most of the time.

Overall the place is ok, their breakfast is not good, limited hot choices and 2 of the three days the hot items were empty and I had to wait.

Shower, drainage, TV didn’t work Came around 7am to a breakfast area: No coffee, limited selection or none. This hotel should be rated two stars. Would not recommend to stay.

There was a loud noise that sounded like an airplane that started around 7 in the am and ended around 845ish no reason or explanation made sleeping difficult the first morning. Breakfast was a joke they were different on Sunday morning and Monday morning. You could tell the person working the breakfast Monday didn’t care. She was writing in a book and copying something instead of filling food. Watched multiple people including myself go to the hot food to only find nothing but scraps. This was at 830. 30mins before breakfast was supposed to be done being served. The lady working didn’t care when it was mentioned to her she just went back to writing in a book. Observed poor service at breakfast for over 30mins while I was trying to make something from nothing for breakfast.

It was OK. It was worth the low price. Very very basic breakfast. Mostly starch and cereal. Some yogurt selections and rice/miso mix. The bed was moderately comfortable however there were some plumbing issues
