Parking is $19 per day at the time of this review, and there are no alternative places to park in the area since it’s near a business park. This seems unreasonable, because there is no gate at the parking; anyone can come and go. To pay $19 per day, it doesn’t feel like any additional safety or security is offered.

We are local to the Bay Area and wanted to avoid the 49er traffic while attending the game for the weekend. Location was great, rooms clean, attentive staff, decent gym and pool area. The restaurant was a bit over priced but it’s Silicon Valley. Breakfast buffet was clean and had a good variety. We would stay here again when attending events at Levi’s.

We had to make an unexpected trip for a funeral and the Sonesta made a wonderful home base away from home. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The 13 year old was as happy as the 3 year old. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was in top of everything. Our room was cozy and great to take a load off.

Let's start from the top: 1) Initial room smelled like mold (staff relocated us), 2) Windows are locked shut (safety issue) 3) No information given on how the wifi to access 4) TV cable provider slow reception; expect delays 5) Pool clean and heated 6) Hot tub yellow; didn't look clean 7) Loud music in pool (looked like party event happening; so limited availability while a guest). 8) Elena and Zapata AMAZING attitudes in the food area. They saved my experience which was taking a downfall. They deserve a raise! Please shout them out and give a raise. 9) Mel, slammed plates in kitchen, bad attitude. 10) Unsure if I would revisit, maybe will reconsider.

Loved the black out curtains in the room. We slept great. It was very quiet. I liked having the restaurant onsite, even though it was definitely overpriced for what it was, I still appreciated not having to leave the property. Felt a little catfished with the hot tub. It was green and needs to be resurfaced, it hurt to sit on. The photos made it look brand new and clean. I was also a little annoyed I had to unload everything from my car to check in because there was nowhere close to park for check in, then had to walk back out to the car to register my car for parking. We were also disappointed the tv was a smart tv but there were no apps to watch Netflix or Disney+ like we planned. It was a pleasant stay and we got a great last minute deal so the price was good.

Nice hotel. Nice lobby staff. The issue we had was the room had dirty linens, a lot of hair on the bed between the sheets and the room smelled upon arrival. Also, the coffee machine was used, and not cleaned. We could not sleep from so much noise in the other rooms as well.

Service was great. Front desk staff was very helpful and welcoming. The cleanliness of the rooms needs attention. There was mold in the shower along with hairs from previous guest. When I pulled the sheets back, there was a long dark hair on top of the fitted sheet. Not sure linens were changed? Would not stay here again.

The property was located near the airport which was convenient for travel. It did not have shuttle service tho as other properties do. A positive is that the room was comfortable and spacious with safe, coffee maker, ironing board and fridge included. A negative is that the restaurant is not open all day but for breakfast and dinner only so be expecting to use DoorDash or food service since there is also nothing within walking distance.

The tv was very glitchy on some channels as it seemed to be continuously buffering. That was very disappointing in Silicon Valley. Otherwise the staff and our stay was great. Decent location but the hotel is in need of some updating outdoors. However the pool was heated and clean and breakfast was nuce!

Liked the room and the beds were comfortable and the bedding was snuggly. The breakfast was amazing and well seasoned. A lot of options to choose from. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only two issues were the floors made a lot of noise when walking around and the WiFi/TV was glitchy. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms was really nice! Beds comfortable. Extra plus bedding was super soft. Table in room which was helpful for dinner time. Our sink had issues and wouldn’t drain- stomper stuck. Maintenance came up to fix it within 5 mins. Find out it needed to be rebuilt. They offered to do that night but we declined since it was so late. They returned the next day and fixed while we were out :) I really appreciated how they handled this. I have called maintenance in other hotels and never got a response and had to call over and over.. but not this hotel. One call and it was fixed. I didn’t even have to call the next morning to ask for the return trip. Will for sure stay again!

The hotel itself was really nice with good amenities. However the service we received was not satisfactory. I requested housekeeping to which the front desk said that only the towels woudl be changed and garbage would be taken out. But that didnt happen on that day and had to be done the next day. The lock to the bathroom door was broken and I requested 3 times for it to be changed after which it was done. That is really poor service.

Worst experience with hotels ever! I arrived at midnight after a 5hr flight. Sonesta silicon valley transferred me to sonesra san Jose because they said they had some issue. And they don't offer transportation! After i arrived at sonesta san Jose by Uber, the receptionist told me i have to wait for 30-45min because Their system is restarting! It was already 2:30am! They could not do anything else! Cancellation is not possible at that time! I am almost about to break down! Luck in a misfortune, the Check in took less than 30min And I could finally get a room to sleep in. Then I found the room was apparently not cleaned properly at all! The towels were messy in the bathroom and I highly doubt They were left by Last guest. The toilet even had some leftover! I was too tired to argue with them but I need to warn future guests to avoid this hotel! I don't know how they earned a good reputation online but this is far below average!

I do not recommend Sonesta Silicon Valley. Here’s what happened during my stay: - The front desk manager P kicked us out during our stay because she couldn’t handle the room change process professionally and escalated the situation with aggressive behavior. - Here’s what happened: the hotel gave away the room I originally booked, and I was told I had to switch rooms on the second day. During the move, I was ordered to pack everything and switch rooms within 30 minutes — with no assistance. - She sent housekeeping to pressure us right after our conversation, then came herself, banging on the door with even more aggressive behavior. I felt harassed and intimidated. - When I tried to cool down and close the door so we could de-escalate and explain, she didn’t give us the chance. She canceled our stay and kicked us out. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. If you care about basic respect and professionalism, stay somewhere else.

The hotel has a very nice staff. The hotel is extremely clean. There’s a pool and jacuzzi that close at 10pm. Location is boring - but that’s to be expected in the sea of office parks that is the Silicon Valley. Next time I’m in the area I’ll spring for something with a wee bit more character even if farther afield from my business or entertainment destination. A few extra miles here or there won’t matter because nothing around Levi’s stadium is walkable anyway. Nothing.

Sonesta Silicon Valley in Milpitas is always my choice hotel when I am in San Jose. The hotel and staff are top notch, specifically the staff is always friendly and accomadating. Special note should be made of the woman who handles the breakfast crowd (please forgive me for not asking her name). She is super friendly, pleasant, attentive and engaging with the guests. Myself and my girlfriwnd always look forward to seeing her. She is definitely a major asset in projecting the type of service and atmosphere that will always keep us coming back.

Sonesta is underrated, which for a very selective traveller, this brand offers comfort, convenience, security and a peaceful experience. The check in, personable, helpful and polite staff, the cleanliness overall, restaurant with excellent menu options, full bar that stays open quite late with kitchen service till 9:30, do I need to indulge more about how excellent the brand delivers at a competitive price. Highly recommended if you need to be in the bay area to get around between Napa, SF, Stockton, Los Gatos, Fremont and Livermore. You're welcome!

The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived at 8:30 pm. There was a guest at the bar who, apparently was inebriated and was very loud (shouting and lamenting his recent breakup). The staff was busy dealing with him but my three friends and I were almost completely ignored. It took them 45 minutes to take our order and then, after the food was delivered, we had to find someone to settle the bill. I do understand that they were dealing with a drunk but I would have preferred they just closed the restaurant instead of allowing us to order. The whole incident was unsettling and we didn’t even eat half of our meal because we just wanted to get out of there. However, we still paid full price for the meal. The star rating was reduced due to the hotel’s failure to provide us decent service and for their dismissal of us when we had to search out the staff to pay the bill. I won’t be back

Staff was not friendly at all! Room had hairs on floor. They were not ours. Not sure what was going on the weekend we stayed. Kids (teens) running up and down halls in the evening. Floor would shake! We ended up finding the kids! My son yelled at them!! They did grant a late check out. By 1 hour. Front desk lady was so rude about it. Other than that. It’s a nice hotel.
