Stayed two nights and wanted something close to Fisherman’s Wharf. This was the perfect location. Easy walk to restaurants, easy to get in and out of. Parking was tight even with a car but happy to have parking and a great place to stay! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The parking garage is very cramped, if you must bring a car use something small and maneuverable with a back up cam. Large Vans or SUVs are a bad idea.

My sheets were dirty, staying with yellow stains. I didn’t realize that until I got into the room late in the evening I had checked in when about my day just shower because I was extremely tired. Got some dinner and when I got back, it was like around 10 ish this was not acceptable

This place was better than expected. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the fact that parking is free and it is within walking distance to many of the places we wanted to go was a great value. The only things that weren't great were the bed frames, the heating/cooling unit, and the TV. Luckily we were on the top floor, but the bed frames are made of a thin metal sheeting that when lightly kicked (which is often) or when sitting on the bed it made a loud clanging noise. The TV was way too small for the size of the room and only viewable by one of the beds, and wasn't a smart TV, so only a few local channels were available. The heating/cooling units controls were damaged which made it impossible to control. Overall, it was a great value and would stay there again for a short stay.

We had a nice stay here. It’s in a busy area so we kept the fan on the heat/ac unit running all night to drown out the the noise from the street. It’s an older hotel, but the rooms and bathrooms have been renovated and there were plenty of towels. The staff was also very nice!

Great place, absolute steal for the price. Location is awesome, rooms are very clean, stuff extremely friendly. Free parking on site is a huge bonus as well.

Older property that has been upgraded. NOT quiet as you are on a busy street and the building echoes sound. Recommend 3rd floor to escape walking noises above you. Beds were comfortable, good pillows, nice towels.

Nice room and comfortable. Good location walk to everything. Parking garage is slim pickings in evening. When you enter lower level parking there is a slight scrape to bottom of the car. Felt safe in room and garage. Only thing for me wifi didnt work at all. Also the room phone didnt work and when i called main line from my cell they never picked up. Other than that enjoyed stay and would book again.

The rooms are nicely updated. The outside is a bit less nice. Parking on the site is great, but not spacious and can be difficult with late arrival. You can hear a lot of outside noise in the rooms.

This is a bare bones hotel. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We stayed Saturday, Sunday, Monday and on Saturday night it sounded like there were drag races on the street. It’s conveniently located with lots of places to eat nearby. It has an ancient quirky elevator, but it works! The staff were very nice and helpful.

The outside is very deceiving, looks like a run down motel. Inside the rooms are redone and decent. It is a very old hotel so the elevator is interesting and even with deep cleaning the rooms had an interesting scent. If you are a light sleeper, avoid this place! You can hear every car, big truck and EVERY damn siren (and there are lots).

The location is great. However, we were in room 102 and my 11 year old daughter woke up the next morning with bed bug bites on her torso. We requested a room change and were told that we had to come back at noon. We were out on a bay cruise and couldn’t come back at noon so we were told that they couldn’t give us new room, but would change all bedding and linens. The next day my second daughter woke up with bed bugs! Staff was NOT helpful and very dismissive. Would not recommend this place.

All of the staff were very nice! They always were happy to answer questions and were very attentive in general. I wish that everyone in the customer service industry treated their customers the way they did. The outside of the motel looks a little rundown and sketchy but inside the rooms it is modern and updated. I would stay here again!

Everyone was super friendly and quick to help me out. They went out of their way to go above and beyond treating me like I’m the only person in the building. With detailed staff like that im sure they treat everyone with respect. Very great stay for me and my partner.

We arrived at 3:15. The room was still not ready. The front desk told me that we needed to wait 45 minutes because they are still cleaning the room. We were so tired and hungry. We went to the room while the lady was cleaning. We were waiting for an hour. They have to hire more people to clean the rooms. The check in time supposed to be 3. Very disappointing.

Arrived and no one was at the desk... waited about 20 minutes. We did check in at midnight however. Arrived with no hot water in the building. Woke up still no hot water so we checked out and asked for a refund for our second night stay and went to the holiday inn golden gate. Also be sure to check amount of beds and check thoroughly. We had 6 ppl and room said it got 6 and only had 2 king beds. They said they assumed we would be comfortable with 3 people in a bed. Who does that. Otherwise room was as pictured and clean.

The location was very good for exploring the area. We were able to walk to the Golden Gate bridge and Fishermans Wharf. Unfortunately it was soooo noisy outside that we struggled to sleep. Zero complaints about the room. Spacious and clean. Fridge in the room which was handy. Staff on check in and out were friendly.

Amazing stay. Good safe location and close to a lot of food options. The lady at the front desk was super helpful with navigating all the streets. Owners/desk staff were very friendly and eager to accommodate. We arrived early and they were more than happy to check on a room to get us into. Room was very clean and beds very comfortable. it was our first time to San Francisco and it helped to have local mom and pop shops very close by. Notably, would recommend Happy Donut, right around the corner. We had coffee, egg sandwiches and donuts there. Excellent! For water bottles and snacks we visited a local grocer who also was very friendly. This Inn is in a safe area, no concerns with safety during our stay. Parking garage seems well monitored with video cameras and our car was safe as well. We heard about all the crime and drug use but in all our travels we only saw homelessness in the Tenderloin area, quite a drive from this hotel. We were able to enjoy all the sights with no problems. We are from Chicago area and I can say, thats the town I don't feel safe in. Thank you Inn on Broadway for such a pleasant stay.

This is a converted multistory motel, lobby not much more than a desk. Large elevator, several staircases. It is near the end of extensive renovation. Our room was modern, super clean, new utilitarian furnishings with good lighting, including the bathroom with a nightlight. Built in desk/drawers/nightstands with plenty of electric outlets & USB ports. Microwave, mini fridge & single cup coffee maker with coffee, sugar packs provided. Hairdryer & shampoo/soap. Bathtub with shower. Iron & board in closet. Decent bed. Small flat screen TV. 2 level free parking onsite is a major plus for anyone driving into SF. No in-room phone, but most of us have mobiles. Downsides are no dining except 1 vending machine. There are a few restaurants/ coffee shops/ bars within 1-2 blocks. Rooms facing streets will get some noise; bare floors can mean noise from room above. The area is safe located on major cross streets with buses on Broadway & Van Ness. No attractions nearby, best bet to use Uber/Lyft to get around town.

Wakkng distance from so much food. If you dont mind a bit of a walk, you can get to the beach and pier 39 by foot. Minor issue i had is that the parking spaces are small but you can always find a spot. It's free PARKING in SF so the small space can be tolerated. Rooms are cleaned and staff is nice. Managers on site are both super helpful.
