Great place to stay. Had to Uber to the docks to meet the boat to Alcatraz because there’s no place to park in the area of the docks. We were able to leave our truck in the parking garage while we were gone. For a busy city it was very nice (we are not used to driving in the city). Over all a great stay.

Staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and location was perfect for getting to UCSF at China Basin. Several good restaurants and bars.

I highly recommend the Hyatt Place! The location was perfect, the service team was professional, knowledgeable and friendly! The room was very clean and comfortable. We opted to park in there garage and the staff were very fast to open the gate to let us out and back from a daily road trip.

This is the second Hyatt Place we have stayed in over the past two years. I would say they are similar in location (walking distance to the base ball park, and both provided excellent service. This particular Hyatt had more requests from us and handled them quickly and effectively. Very nice! The breakfasts were outstanding and unlike last year in Seattle, were included in the room price. We paid extra for breakfast when booking through Hotels.com, but the Hyatt reimbursed us for this erroneous charge. Our room, which was a king bed and sofa bed, was smaller than the same room in Seattle. This was crowded but manageable. The sofa bed was uncomfortable for adults, so I would not recommend this type of room if adults need to use it. Temperature control was good and the bathroom had a very nice shower and plenty of hot water. Towels were replaced each day. I highly recommend this hotel.
