The lobby atmosphere is really great. In the evening their is a great little bar and seating area where many people like to just hangout and socialize. The outside area after fire pits.

It should be said that there is going to be a valet parking fee to be added with your stay. Great news is that they make up for it with the credit for food and water, refillable water bottles and the cable car ride. And that it is for our stay (overnight), not per day. Of course we didn’t use the car until we left for home. Considering that this is San Francisco, I’d say it’s reasonable. This is also the fanciest dog friendly hotel I’ve been to. 😊 great fitness center too

It was great as always, the valet upon arrival was somewhat difficult and the man in the valet front did not seem too interested in helping us, maybe he was overwhelmed? The police had to come ask us to move because we were blocking the way. There was a lot of cars waiting to be parked and we were not told where to go. They just said park anywhere and we will get to it. Other than that, this hotel is perfect.

The rooms were quiet and clean, and beds comfortable! Very easy access to Bay Bridge, downtown, Waymo electric cars, the Embarcadero, and Oracle Park. The only parking option is valet, and it is very expensive at nearly $100 per night. If you have a vehicle, make sure to check out the garage options very close by- literally across the road- at 1/3 the price and easy access without having to wait for valet. Otherwise, the lobby is really nice, a great outdoor seating area to chill, and fantastic vibe at this hotel!

The hotel itself is very nice but be very careful if valeting your vehicle. We called to have our car brought out and immediately went to the lobby when we received a text that it would be there in 10 minutes. Upon arriving out front our car was actively being towed with no valet in sight. We ran inside to find the valet, and the front desk was unbothered and unhelpful. We finally negotiated with the towing company to leave our car and found the valet who had our keys. Terrifying end to our stay. Would never stay here again.

Great place to stay - has a bar, restaurant, and café for coffee on-site. Bummed to find out no pool or rooftop access. Also, the property charges $80 a night for valet - I looked for street parking and made sure to be out and about before 9 am (parking enforcement). I believe it’s free starting from 6:00 pm but double-check the Parking Authority site.

Nice bedrooms, but valet was slow, and took us 15 minutes to get into the hotel, and 2+ hours to get our car. Nice enough to waive valet fees, but shouldnt be that way.

We enjoyed our stay at the Clancy. The property was clean and the room was very comfortable and Spacious. I love the coffee maker and the set up. The location was fantastic. Well within walking distance of the areas that we wanted to visit for dining and Shopping. The hotel was perfectly located for catching the public transportation to visit the zoo.

Unfortunately, my stay at The Clancy was nothing more than a 3-star experience at best. The room was not thoroughly cleaned upon arrival (liquid spill stains on the nightstand, dirty fridge, etc.); there was limited closet space to hang up clothes (you'll need to move the ironing board and suitcase stand out of the way first), the light in the closet kept turning on throughout the day and evening (there are no doors to close off the "closet" and when I raised this with the front desk they did nothing to address this issue the first time, and the second time only 1000 Marriott rewards points were offered), no room service, no mini bar, and a bed so old that it permanently tilts to one side. Also, late checkout costs $15 per hour after 11 am (or 2 pm for Gold members). Not at all recommended.

We stay in the city once a year and decided to try this hotel this time. We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel bar has great drinks and appetizers for happy hour and the staff are friendly. Our room had a spectacular view or the city and the bed was extremely comfortable. This hotel was within walking distance of our desired destinations. We would definitely stay here again.

We were a group of nine for a family trip. All of our rooms were very comfortable, spacious, and the beds were very cozy. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating. The hotel was in a great location for doing a lot of walking and sightseeing and we felt very safe in this area. One evening we had drinks from the bar and brought them to the outside courtyard where we had a lot of room to hang out. We had breakfast three mornings at the hotel restaurant, the food came out quickly was hot and very good. We did not order off the buffet, but from the regular menu. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very kind and the room was lovely. However, the entire building was very cold/chilly like the AC was on even though it was 46 degrees outside. The air freshener/signature scent perfume or whatever it was in the lobby was really strong to the point of being unpleasnt. Crucially, as a person there for business, the WiFi signal in my room was very inconsistent to the point I couldn't use it because it would disconnect then then on reconnect it has "no internet" (three different devices experienced this.

The actual hotel and front desk staff were great! Quick check in and check out. Room was clean and spacious. The vibe of the hotel was nice. They offer a food credit which ypu can use atbtheir cafe to get a pick me up in the morning.The only negative thing about this trip was the valet parking experience we encountered. We had to wait over an hour for the valet to bring our car around when it was time for us to leave. This hotel is close to Oracle Park, so they should be in the know when it comes to concerts and events in the area that may cause them to need to call in extra staff on those busy days. It was very irritating having to wait that long. No one seemed to know what was going on at the Valet desk. So I went inside and the front desk staff was very helpful and asured us that this isn't typical. They were nice enough to comp us parking. Due to them being understanding and not brushing us off, I would definitely book with this hotel again. As I said before, it's a really nice hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Next time we will probably just park at a nearby lot ourselves.

This is easily the nicests hotel i've been to in a long while. I don't mean the property, which is admittedly extremely good-looking, I mean the staff. Every staff member we ran into was funny, kind, patient, knowledgeable, and worked together flawlessly. I'd be happy to stay here again the next time I want to stay in the city!

We booked the hotel Clancy for a trip to San Francisco for my husband’s 50th birthday, clean, spacious and well decorated and well kept the hotel. Staff was pleasant, friendly accountable and respectful. The property was well-maintained as well as fully staffed and has impeccable customer service. We spent a lot of time in the hotel restaurant, which was absolutely Amazing the food was always perfect. The service was impeccable weight. Staff were absolutely amazing. We looked forward to coming back to the hotel restaurant every afternoon and had at least two meals there daily. We traveled with our two daughters and they were happy and intrigued to be entire time.

The property double charged me for staying. Good thing, I always review my transactions. Otherwise, I guess it would have been free money for the property. How often does this happen without people knowing??? This could potentially lead to legal issues. I don’t know that I would want to stay here again after this.

This is a more upscale spot, decent walk to Oracle. I did have an issue with the valet service being posted as $80, but they include a tax that brings the total to $91.20 per night. They also overcharged me for an extra day of valet service. On top of that, the valet lost our key and was running around calling his co workers to locate it and had my family standing there for 20 minutes. I tried to talk to a manager and they said she wasn't in yet. They asked me to call back. I did and left a message, but haven't heard back. The one star is for the misleading prices, overcharge, incompetent valet, and management's failure to follow up. Check your bill!!!

Wow!!! Best hotel we’ve stayed at in awhile by a long shot. Service in all areas was phenomenal, super friendly, helpful, prompt across all service areas. Hotel is beautiful inside and out, and didn’t feel cheap, although the rate was super reasonable for this time of year in the city. Room was gorgeous, huge L shaped sofa in regular room, Nespresso machine with pods (!!), comfortable bed and pillows. Super fast elevators, hardly had to wait at all although we were on upper floor. Lots of amenities for Gold and higher members. Can’t app bar and restaurant was top notch with fun cocktail offerings. Had breakfast twice, lots of delicious vegetarian options. Can’t say enough good things - really great hotel. Definitely will go back.

The Clancy was conveniently located close to Oracle Park so we could walk to a baseball game. Very easy to navigate and only 30 minutes to the airport. However, valet parking was extremely expensive.

First time staying at this hotel location & I would highly recommend. Went for a concert at ATT Park, and this hotel was only a few walkable blocks from concert location. Dining, Beverages, Coffee and gathering areas were fantastic. Highly enjoyed our stay, rooms were spacious, clean & quiet.

Very modern and nice lobby area. Rooms are nice and clean & comfortable. Costs for food ($70) for breakfast buffet was exorbitant as were 2 bloody Mary’s. Food was slightly warm and service was slightly adequate. Overall way too expensive for my retiree’s budget. Probably the norm in San Francisco though. Lots of fees and tax add ins I’m unfamiliar with.

The hotel was really nice and made it easy access to Oracle Arena. We got free water bottles, $35 toward meals and drinks, and passes to SF cable cars. They had a bar, restaurant and coffee bar. Tons of seating indoors and outside. Be prepared for really only valet parking with a steep $$$.

The main purpose for our visit was to go to a couple of Giants games. The hotel was within easy walking distance of the ballpark. The hotel and rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. The only suggestion would be to have the restaurant open for dinner seating later. However, ordering and picking up at the bar was quick.

Visiting for a business trip, staff was helpful, courteous and always had a smile on their face. The only negative is that the on-site restaurant has limited hours, very limited menu and seems to be short-staffed so the dining experience not the best. That aside, I recommend it.

Nicely updated rooms & good drinks at the bar. My only complaint is that the bar doesnt open until 3pm and closes early. We were hoping for a nightcap at the bar but it was closed when we got back at 12:15am. Minus that this place is very nice and centrally located for Giants and Warriors games.
