Great location, just across from the Ferry Terminal. The interior of the hotel is just stunning - very cool. Great comfortable room and just what we needed. Gym was 24 hours and fully stocked. Hotel service was great - everyone was so helpful and friendly. Just to note - valet parking is $91 a day so we just self parked at the lot across the street (you can't miss it) for around $35 per day. You can drive up to hotel, have the Bellhop send up your luggage and then go park and walk back to hotel (and do the same when you check out - have them bring down your luggage after going to pick up your car) This was one thing we were stressed about since we were driving (not from SF) and it worked out perfectly! I would definitely stay here again when I'm back in SF

Very spacious functional lobby. Included food, bar, store, sitting areas, recharging areas. It also had a very artistic architectural flair- a cool sphere/ water feature and an almost pyramid look to ceiling. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was.my husbands birthday and our waitress was very attentive and thoughtful helping us celebrate him. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable and the room spacious...we enjoyed the attention to details. Extra hooks for hats and purses by the door and in the bathroom next to the shower. We will definitely go back.

My family and LOVED our stay at this beautiful hotel. It was very clean, fun, and there is so much to do in the hotel itself including workout at the best hotel gym’s I have ever seen, shop at the mini market, dine at the amazing restaurant, or relax in one of the many chairs/sofa’s/ tables scattered throughout the resort. It is also located within walking distance of EVERYTHING! The entire staff was friendly, helpful and professional. We will return for another visit prior to the end of the year and will stay at this resort once again.

We've stayed at the Hyatt for every trip to San Francisco for over 10 years. We've never really had any issues, and love staying here but this stay was different. The bed comforter was covered in disgusting stains. The comforter was placed with the majority of the stains on the bottom side, so we never noticed them until we checked out. For the amount of money we pay to stay here, you'd at least expect the bedding to be clean an stain free. It was so bad that I took pictures of it to include in this review, if it allows me to attach.

The beds were super comfortable with nice sheets and the cleanliness of the room was spot on. The location of this hotel is great as it’s close by to the pier and many food places to choose from. Although the price of valet is quite expensive like other hotels, the self parking garage is affordable and a 5 min walk. We would definitely choose to stay here again in the future

The room was dirty and restroom was worn out, there was mold in the shower, and we found hairs. Also, the tub was too high, as I was getting out of the shower I almost fell and hit my elbow pretty bad. It was not a good experience.

Room with noted items remaining indicating possible wasn’t throughly clean. (Paper wrappers/ candy wrappers) Otherwise the stay was fabulous. Loved Carlos and our female bartender (Glasses /short black hair)was so inviting. We enjoyed stopping there after being out over the city having dinner and shopping.

Awesome room! Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious and had a large walk in shower. Has mini fridge, but no microwave. Bed and bedding very comfortable. Daily housekeeping. Loved the view of the bay, it wasn't a full on view though. Great location, few city blocks from pier 1 area. You could walk it if spry, otherwise an Uber will get you to the pier 39 area for about 12-15 dollars. Safe area. We did not feel unsafe at all or nervous. And the trolley is right outside!!! Recommend Ziggy's Burgers for awesome burgers and they are across the street from the hotel. However, check in was hard to find, not well marked. The walk to the room was so long! The floors are really super long, so those with a walking disability make sure they give you a room closer to the elevator. You cannot get a luggage cart, you have to have luggage service. So frustrating not to have a cart available. We had to schlep all our things down the LONG hall. DO NOT get the breakfast buffet! It was awful and was 36.00 a person. Very shameful for a Hyatt to put out this poor quality of food. I am still upset about that. I've had really good free Breakfast at numerous hotels, this was worse than a bad free breakfast. No pool or hot tub Overall, I recommend this hotel as the room itself was very nice!

This hotel is very very quiet. I did not hear the neighbors at all. The room was very large with a stunning view on the 17th floor. I stayed over the weekend when the prices were very reasonable, less than $200 a night. The price almost doubled during the week. I discovered this when my flight was cancelled and I wished to extend my stay. The front desk informed me that this was due to the fact that this hotel is a business hotel and they get more customers during the week due to its location in the financial district. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. If you are afraid of heights this might not be the best hotel for you. The elevators are glass, and the hallways overlook an 18 story atrium. The hallways are open to the atrium on one side, so it is almost like walking on a balcony to the rooms.

I stayed here for the SF Marathon and booked the studio suite. While the room was spacious, it was a little dated. I expected a little more for the price we paid. I expected the windows to slide open since theres balconies on other rooms, but sadly, no. No extra blankets in the closet and our room was at the end of the hall by the service elevator and the staff was quite loud I think its worth staying here for the view and location. I definitely would not bring my car. I prepaid my room so the only additional charges were for parking and it came out to $275 for only 2 nights becuause of additional "destination charges"

Been to SF more than 10 times - usually stay around union square for Moscone - but honestly this is now my fav hotel, amazing design, very unique architecture. Rooms well maintained, clean and appointed and super friendly and helpful staff, nothing was a problem and everything I asked for sorted quickly and hassle free. This isnt always the case in SF. Bonus this part of town is without all the hassles and troubles you find further up in Union square and surrounds - the walk to Moscone wasnt bad and the hotel made it worth it. Definitely will be back here if I can.

This was my favorite hotel in the financial district. I’ve stayed there a few times. However, this time checking in they told me they had some room upgrades for high floors with views - for an extra $40/night. It costs you nothing to upgrade someone and have a happy customer if you have an empty room. It was a big turnoff for me.

The bell desk attendant took her time to come out, then took her time to walk over, couldn't even make eye contact. Maybe she was pregnant and uncomfortable? I don't know why, but she seemed "put out" once she finally decided to come over and help us each time we waited at the bell desk.

I usually stay with another hotel chain, but had always wanted to try Hyatt. With this trip, it felt like the right opportunity given the location. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. We were given a lower-level room facing a busy, noisy street. I had reached out to the staff given our 3-night stay & that we’d just come off a long, tiring trip, but no effort was made to accommodate us or make things more comfortable. Room lacked basic conveniences like a microwave, & breakfast was not included unless you pay 2x/3x usual. If you get outside food, there’s no option to heat it. The TV setup was unnecessarily complicated—have to screencast apps from your phone, but it repeatedly errored out-- frustrating, especially with kids who were looking to unwind. The elevators were out of order the first day, causing long waits & lost time. In the evenings, they host a happy hour, but the elevators were often packed with guests who were visibly intoxicated—definitely not a family-friendly environment. The staff wore polite smiles, but didn’t make a genuine effort to be helpful; seemed more focused on upselling or cross-selling every chance they got. Perhaps this hotel is better suited for business travelers with corporate cards who can expense everything. If that’s the case, it'd be helpful if they made that clearer upfront, rather than leaving leisure travelers feeling dismissed or undervalued. a disappointing stay—especially for a brand I had high hopes for.

We’ve stayed here as a family several times and it’s always been good. The hotel is clean, great location, pleasant staff and the atrium is always a sight to behold… our kids love it. We never eat at the hotel as it is ridiculously expensive, so we usually head over to the ferry building or down to Perry’s, all within a short walk. Directly outside the hotel is Market Street and it can feel a little unsafe at night, there’s a lot of homeless sleeping rough. While we were there, there was one poor homeless woman that was clearly high on something, she was screaming and spitting at anyone walking by… scared my two kids. This was of course not the hotel’s fault, but just something to be aware of when you stay there. Also, our room was facing out onto the ferry building, a great view but right next to a VERY loud bar and restaurant. There was loud booming music until well after midnight, made it tough to sleep. Overall though, the Hyatt always is comfortable and my kids love it.. we’ll more than likely be back again.

They claim to have a restaurant on site, they do not. It’s a small grab and go with very few choices. They don’t give you complimentary water in you room. There is no room service or in room dinning. They claim the grab and go is their in room dinning. Staff was not very friendly at the front desk. Cleaning staff and valet were nice and helpful. There are good restaurants surrounding the hotel and at the ferry building.

Great views. and everything is walking distance! The restaurant on the top floor is amazing...but not for the people who suffer from motion sickness...it spins, so the view is always changing! Rooms are spacious, but the A/C is kinda loud.

An unforgettable stay in Hyatt Regency Embarcadero After 15 years, we stayed here again as an empty nester couple to come to see our kids working in SF. It is so convenient for us to take BART from SFO and then get out the BART station where Hyatt Regency Embarcadero is cross the street. The hotel is beautifully designed, immaculately maintained. Our room has a balcany. We can see clear waters, piers and remote landscape across the bay. The hospitality is enormous! The revolving top restaurant just opened after 18 year close. We are treated by the Hyatt with spetacular views and amazing food there. And it is free all day along! Also the restaurant at the lobby floor also serves most freshly made food! We will come again!

This hotel is magnificent! Multi-lingual, friendly, accommodating staff helped us check in early. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the Fairy Building and Bay which was great for relaxing with morning coffee or evening cocktail. The restaurant/bar offers great food and had daily happy hour specials. The hotel is steps from a variety of public transportation options and within walking distance from Oracle Park. There are also plenty of dining options and sights to see around the hotel.
