The hotel location is a huge plus as it is within walking distance of many interesting places to visit and eat at. The members of the hotel staff we interacted with were efficient and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. Water and coffee were readily available. The gym was well equipped and clean. The bar was nicely decorated and very inviting, and the dinner we had there was surprisingly good. It has become our favorite place to stay when we visit San Francisco.

This is a beautiful hotel. Felt very “fancy” for us. Valet parking, 17 stories, chandeliers, nice bar/restaurant in the lobby, etc. Staff were so nice and helpful here. The rooms are clean and QUIET. The trolley car goes on the street in front of the hotel. I really loved staying here.

I travel a fair amount for personal/family reasons and this is one of the best hotel stays I have had overall in terms of service, the facility itself, and overall value. Every single aspect of my stay was positive. Every employee was exceedingly friendly, the lobby and the rooms are lovely, the fitness room was spacious and clean, and had a good variety of equipment. But there were little details that made it especially nice: apples, coffee, and fortune cookies in the lobby, apples and water in the fitness room, wonderful smelling shampoo and soap, a wide array of items people could ask for that would be given for free, from the simple things like toothbrushes to more specialized things like pet dishes, or straightening irons or a different kind of pillow. I had a great day and I would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful hotel. The lobby looks very elegant and the rooms were beautifully furnished as well. We found the room spacious and clean. All amenities were provided and we appreciated the complimentary services such as free water and free coffee in the morning. We were also fortunate to be there when they gave out free ice cream (which is only provided on certain days in the afternoon). We highly recommend this location for the comfort and the convenient location, as well as the exceptional service.

This was a beautiful hotel! Very clean and well maintained. Every single employee was kind and friendly. Enjoyed relaxing in the quiet lobby. The pub was delicious and room service was excellent. We will definitely stay at your hotel again!

Super friendly, super helpful people, lush, beautiful, a bit old-fashioned, stylish place. LOVED IT. However, the hotel BADLY NEEDS WINDOWS CLEANING, all windows (in the room, in the fitness room) are horribly dirty. Please, clean your windows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Otherwise, LOVED IT!!! hoping to come back (AND TO SEE CLEAN WINDOWS?)

The property could use a remodel, the carpet seems to be very old. However, the room was very clean. Beds were comfortable and the shower very satisfying. The room was extremely quiet (10th floor). Customer service is just exceptional. The best of all the hotels I’ve stayed. Everyone had just an outstanding attitude and were extremely helpful. The valet parking was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to offer help and suggestions. Overall, an extraordinary experience. The only thing they need to do (in my opinion) is to remodel.

We booked a room and requested prior to arrival a higher level floor due to the previous reviews we read about the traffic noise. Since it was busy weekend with a music festival they said they could only book us a room on the 6th floor out of 17. We obliged and instantly upon entering the room smelled musty like an old dusty grandma's house. It was late around midnight and so we figured we would open the windows and run the AC. Neither window could be opened, not even by my very strong husband. Then tried the AC and that did't seem to be working either. After 2 hot showers, the smaller sized room seemed to feel even more stuffy (there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom), and the AC was still not working. Called the front desk and asked to be changed to another room. They could not accommodate. Maintenance guy brought us a small desk fan and pried the windows barely cracking. It became so overbearingly noisy that we didn't sleep at all the entire night with blaring sirens all night and missed our first 2 items on our next day itinerary. Next morning had amazing service by the front desk who got us a top floor upgraded room, but when asked if they could credit us the first night, the hotel manager stated he could not at all since we booked through hotels.com and not through the actual hotel. Could've been cleaner and beds were slightly larger than a twin.. very small double.

Most everything was excellent here. The staff was very friendly and the hotel well appointed. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin, so we heard our neighbors talking in the room next door for hours on end. We called the front desk and asked them to intervene so we could sleep, but sadly did not do anything to help.

I have been staying at this Omni for many years for both business and personal trips and each time has been wonderful. The service is excellent and the rooms are comfortable, clean and very quiet. The location is in a very safe area of the financial district. Ask the front desk for a microwave and/or mini fridge if you need them. They are by request. Note that some of the Financial District shops are not open during the weekend.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very nice. I appreciated the free morning coffee. Our room was clean. I had a room with two queen beds, but the beds were quite a bit narrower than a regular queen. The restaurant they have in the hotel is unreasonably overpriced. I paid $124 for three breakfasts! Overall, I would definitely stay there again, but I’ll go eat elsewhere:)

What was once one of the best service brands, family owned Omni has outsourced its lost and found-- maybe the most important function for a customer that has lost a valuable item. Now when you call, you are texted an email link to a third party service committed to responding in two weeks! Your once extraordinary loyalty to customer has also been outsourced-- won't be staying with you again after 20 years of top membership in your Black Card club.

We have stayed multiple times at the Omni, and twice during the holidays. The staff are kind and attentive, loving toward our two young kids, the beds and rooms are comfortable, and we enjoy the free drink with our room. I wish parking was more reasonably priced, but in downtown SF it comes with the territory. The Omni is our favorite hotel in the city!

As for the hotel itself, it’s in a great spot in the financial district and very walkable to local spots. If not the trolleys are a block or two over. With such excellent service and a fantastic location, you can’t do much better than the Omni. Short walk to Chinatown and all that delicious food. Another short walk to the piers for even more fun. I highly recommend the Omni.

Great because it's in a flat part of the city so you're not just immediately on a hill whenever you walk outside. Easy access to public transit. Some stuff closes outside normal M-F business hours because this is the financial district but we'd definitely stay here again. Staff had great recommendations!

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Easy 5 minute walk from BART station, easy access to busses, and cable car right in front of the hotel. Good clean neighborhood. Hotel staff is very helpful and the rooms are beautiful. Will definitely be returning.

First impressions are everything, and walking into the elegant lobby of the Omni San Francisco Hotel left a lasting impression. We were greeted by doormen and lobby staff who made us feel welcome. Check in was a breeze and even though we were a bit early, our room was ready. Our room was beautifully decorated in warm dark wood tones. There was no minibar but there was a space for it so guessing we could have requested one. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well appointed. The only weird thing was the light switch was outside the bathroom. My husband, who's a retired commercial electrician, agreed that was a bit odd. One thing that we really appreciated was the room service. It was absolutely perfect! From the ease of placing our order with the always friendly, always helpful representatives taking the calls, to the speed in which our order was delivered, to the table delivery of our meals (complete with all the necessary condiments and glasses of ice water), to the delicious, beautifully presented food. And finally, we also loved Monte's, the hotel bar. A shout out to Mo, Sheila, and Saben (from Nepal 🙂). They were awesome. Great, friendly bartenders who made our trip to San Francisco even better! Good times!

Experience was top notch from beginning to the end, came into the city for the SF marathon and traveled by train, ran into some hiccups and they were more than accommodating. Highly recommend Omni if you’re staying in San Francisco, the bar was incredible, loved the atmosphere and the bartender there was very nice and friendly, had a great conversation with him. Will definitely come back when I’m in SF.
