This hotel is in a nice location for access to the golden gate bridge and fisherman's wharf. However many surfaces in the room were splattered and sticky, and they only have 12 tight parking stalls for almost 30 rooms.

This was a late booking that we chose because it advertised parking. When we got there we rang the bell but no one came until we called the telephone number on the door. In addition, there was no parking and difficult getting out of the parking lot. Also, we were told that it was first come, first served and we could park on the street but would have to move the car by 9 am. When we left there was no place to leave the keys and no one came when we rang the bell. Both bath towels had hair on them and one had a blood stain at the edge. We felt like it was a one night stand property and will not go there again.

Shower was only luke warm, NOT Hot. On busy Lumbard street side, very noisy all night long. Front office staff very nice, and friendly. Parking very limited and small, although free.

We were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the Presidio Inn. It is an older motor court style motel, that has been upgraded nicely. It was clean, and the mattress was one if the best I have ever slept on. We were able to walk to eat and easy ride share to our local destination. The staff was accommodating and responsive. The authentic 1950's elevator only added to the ambiance of the place. Definitely will stay here again.

It was ok, I feel it needed a little more attention on the cleaning specifically in the bathroom, when I booked it said that there was parking available and the was one of the main reasons why I chose this place but when I arrived they told me that parking was first come first serve which I certainly didn’t like because we were afraid of moving our car and come back and didn’t find parking space, or have to pay extra or even worse get towed. So I believe that it should say that parking is limited.

This was a great resting place for our 2 night stay in SF. It is located in a great location, walking distance to lots of restaurants, Palace of Fine Arts, and the Marina area. Also close to bus stops which make it super easy to get to all the areas of SF. The place is fairly updated, staff is nice & helpful and considering it is right off the 101 it was surprisingly quiet. My only word of advise is on the parking. It is VERY limited. We got there right at checkin and we're able to get a spot & left our car there for 2 nights. But be warned, if you leave your spot there is a BIG chance you will not have a space when you get back and will have to park on the street or in a garage for addition fees.

All things were good, but the parking situation is a nightmare. If all spaces are filled (and they are!), the only option is to park on the streets, but be careful because at 6:00 AM your car can be towed away because the streets are being cleaned!

I enjoyed my check in, front counter guy was super nice. Parking was minimal and very compact. Our AC in room didn’t cool our room, unfortunately. Dust was infiltrated in the AC. The bathroom was the worst part. I didn’t take pictures, but there was black all over the tile and calking which I can only assume was mold. The toilet wasn’t secured to the floor and shook as we stood up. Elevator was interesting but kinda cool. Grab and go breakfast, less than to be desired.

Will not stay here again. The location is great and the staff is mostly friendly, but the rooms were so dirty. Stains on the bed sheet, dirty towels at arrival, mold in the shower. One of our rooms had bed bugs. The staff moved us quickly to another room but it was also not clean. I hope the Hotel takes the feedback and starts to quality check/ provide the cleaning crew with that they need to do a good job for future guests.

The property is in a great location, so that’s a plus. But the hotel is terrible, the bed sheets smelled like they never been changed. There was a red stain on my bed sheets! The bathroom had pee all over the walls. There was no cable television... The floor was sticky to walk on… Do not recommend to anybody.

I stayed five nights and had an enjoyable stay. The room was clean and quiet with daily housekeeping. The area outside is fine but as in any city , busy and not pristine. Check in was done quickly and i was informed at check in that check out was just a matter of leaving the key in the room. This worked well since i had an early flight on my last day.

Room and exterior of hotel were filthy. Carpet was sticky, stained and disgusting. Shower was plugged and you are forced to stand in depths of water. Room smelled awful, so much so I purchased an air freshener to place on the wall ax unit with broken controls. I feel like I was robbed.

We enjoyed our stay so much, that we extended for two more days.Our room was spacious, very nice and clean. Fortunately no carpets. The location of the hotel is in a friendly and safe neighborhood with restaurants and shops. You can hear the traffic on Lombard Street, but it's a pleasant place to stay. It's easy to get around with the Muni Bus day ticket and on foot. Our host, Sam and his team are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The floor in the room was dusty dirty, tv remote does not work, wifi is unstable, bathroom has mold, and the worst part: the beds has BED BUGS!!! Great location for getting around and plenty of good places to eat! The family owners were super nice and it’s obvious they want to keep improving things. The outside looked a bit tough but room was all renovated, had a super comfy bed and excellent bedding! I would stay again❤️

Sam was the most sweetest, patient, and helpful man we’ve ever encountered! He helped me with all my questions and concern’s immediately. He went above and beyond for our service. We were all very satisfied with the professional management skills he provided us with. I would stay again and again anytime I were to visit again. I highly recommend!

Even though the room itself was comfortable, the were no window shades or curtains to block out light, only shutters making it difficult to sleep with so much light coming in at all hours from the bright hallway lights. Was told by the inn that there would be ‘Free Grab-and-go lite breakfast items (pastries, juice, coffee) are available daily between 08:00 to 10:00 AM.’ Every day there was ONLY juice and hot water for instant oatmeal, no pastries, no coffee. Was extremely disappointed in this especially for the price I paid. Only staff I ever saw was when we checked in. No bell for help at the lobby. Getting out of the parking lot was a pain as it is a one lane one-way getting in and NO EXIT besides the way you came in.

Super noisy from the street and have car/motorcycles street racing right outside, doors and windows are not sealed - have to wear earplugs and cover by pillows to keep the noise down. Limited parking spaces, first come first serve, breakfast is coffee, orange juice, pastries and oatmeal packages. Our shower door has no handle and won’t close shut, water spills out. This is typical strip hotel on a main road that doesn’t look like much. Room was spacious clean and mostly modern. Only provides coffee, not tea and only has paper and plastic cups so we went and bought out own mugs from Walgreens. Managed to make tea from the coffee maker. Declined to store our luggage on checkout but the hotel across the road has a storage facility for a reasonable fee. Very close to many good restaurants and cafes, on great bus routes.

The hotel is close to a very busy street with a lot of traffic. The cleaning of the room decreased during the week. The hotel did not refund the deposit so I had to run this with my CC company.

Went above and beyond. Stored my bags on check out day even though the owner didn’t need to. Facilities and accommodation were all well maintained and clean. Staff were all friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Great value for money.

We enjoyed our stay so much, that we extended for two more days.Our room was spacious, very nice and clean. Fortunately no carpets. The location of the hotel is in a friendly and safe neighborhood with restaurants and shops. You can hear the traffic on Lombard Street, but it's a pleasant place to stay. It's easy to get around with the Muni Bus day ticket and on foot. Our host, Sam and his team are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Property was old and dirty, not up-kept at all, everything was broken, down to the soda machines, the hair drier, the iron, the tv. Everything was broken or working poorly. The AC was barely working. There are 6-7 parking spaces and they force u to park in these tiny little spaces because “more people are coming” they aren’t professional and literally any where would have probably been better. Its not even cheap for what it is. Their lobby closes at whatever hour they feel like and then if u need help with anything ur just screwed. In short. I would recommend finding a different place.

Great location for getting around and plenty of good places to eat! The family owners were super nice and it’s obvious they want to keep improving things. The outside looked a bit tough but room was all renovated, had a super comfy bed and excellent bedding! I would stay again❤️

I really enjoyed my stay in this place. It was clean and comfortable. The area is very convenient depending on what sort of things you want to see in the city. But since this place has parking lot and public transport is great in the city, it was pretty awesome to leave the vehicle in the premises. I would stay in this place again. There's so much to see in the city and this place is walking distance to great places to eat, great neighborhood to walk around, and transportation to different spots in the city.

Shower was only luke warm, NOT Hot. On busy Lumbard street side, very noisy all night long. Front office staff very nice, and friendly. Parking very limited and small, although free.

Tho it doesnt look like much from the outside, the room was clean and the staff were friendly. Very close to bus stops, the Palace of Fine Arts and Golden Gate beach are a short walk away. Restaurants and Walgreens close by.

Large room with counter space was helpful to spread out our gear. Location was excellent for walkability to the parks, restaurants and piers. Staff were welcoming. Our room was adjacent to Lombard, we had one very loud night related to street noise, garbage trucks etc, one quite night as the streets were being swept. Parking was tight but our Explorer with a Thule box on the roof fit under the covered parking area.

They have 20 rooms and 13 very tight parking places. We had to park on street Sunday night and they did not bother to tell us the sign out front blocked by tree said no parking from 6am to 8am and we received a 97$ ticket. The free breakfast was 2 flavors of packed oatmeal and that was absolutely it for food. We had to switch rooms so to smell and no ac. There was a cigarette burn in the quilt. Our second room was ok but way less than what we expected. But I guess we got what we paid for.

Even though the room itself was comfortable, the were no window shades or curtains to block out light, only shutters making it difficult to sleep with so much light coming in at all hours from the bright hallway lights. Was told by the inn that there would be ‘Free Grab-and-go lite breakfast items (pastries, juice, coffee) are available daily between 08:00 to 10:00 AM.’ Every day there was ONLY juice and hot water for instant oatmeal, no pastries, no coffee. Was extremely disappointed in this especially for the price I paid. Only staff I ever saw was when we checked in. No bell for help at the lobby. Getting out of the parking lot was a pain as it is a one lane one-way getting in and NO EXIT besides the way you came in.

Older property, room was average, at least it was clean. However, they advertise free breakfast, but there was none. Excuse was they ordered pastries that hadn’t arrived. I specifically wanted a hotel with free breakfast. Won’t stay here again.

We had a 10 day stay. For the money, the room was good, they provided a fridge and a microwave. The floors were newer and the King bed was awesome. I thought the staff was very accommodating. There was parking (very tight however and while we were there, one of the customers had their car hit in the pkg lot seemingly in the middle of the night (not a big hit). The motel was close to many things, which was worth it! The cons were: the shower handle came of the shower, you couldn’t move the shower head and when you opened the small door, all of the water squirted out (not a deal breaker). The hair dryer didn’t work. After 4 days we tried to watch the TV, it didn’t work, the staff had a handyman come in and he couldn’t fix it, they eventually changed our room. That TV worked for an hour, then stopped. It wasn’t worth complaining about. The Bathroom had a tub and no more water leakage issue. The ‘breakfast’ was a pastry, good coffee though :). All in all, I would probably check out other places in the area, but, I would go back there.

So we stayed there 3 days and the cleaning lady didn't come to try and clean our room till 7pm, we had left and came back twice and room still not done, they say they have breakfast, but not the case, only coffee, orange juice, and some danishes. The motel itself was ok, very close to Fishermans Wharf and Russian hill

The location is awesome, however the property is old, we had to change the room by the smell. I reserved this hotel because of the breakfast included, the breakfast is only coffee, tea and some bread. I don’t have complaints about the zone but breakfast is poor

The parking area is so small and hard to navigate cars in, the elevator didn’t have a light and hasn’t been serviced in 3 years, the tv didn’t work half of the time, the water pressure was terrible and so was the temperature. Front desk staff wasn’t there half of the time.

There were only shutters, not blackout curtains, so the room was lit up at night. Lombard Street was quite noisy. My biggest complaint is IHop is no longer there as it was advertised in the description of the inn.(as saying IHop was across the parking lot. No, it used to be a good block away). The Continental breakfast was just store bought pastries. I don't know if the shower head was adjustable, but it was too high for me, 5'3" so the water hit me in the face instead of my back. The shower was tight quarters, too. The parking lot was small and only one way in and out making it a little difficult if you have a large vehicle. It was convenient for my trip but I probably won't stay there again.

Bed bugs!!! My wife got bit up and when we looked in the corner we saw 2 huge bed bugs. Also the blow dryer fell off the wall and bruised the top of my wife’s foot. The place if overall poorly maintained.
