This place is an overpriced dump. The location is fantastic; but, the room leaves a lot to be desired. No coffee maker in the room. No plastic cups in the bathroom. The front desk was unable to provide me with info on where I could walk my dog. The place is clean, but run down looking.

We usually don’t expect much, but our room was quite filthy, had plenty of bugs crawling around, and there wasn’t a fridge or microwave in the room, even though the photos showed otherwise. Parking also costs 10 dollars per day, and the lot is open, so I don’t really get what you’re paying for. Staff were friendly and location is great, considering price.

Service was good but the room was beat down, and the man talked about a $150 deposit fee that i was not gonna get back after my stay yet i already prepaid for a room, also paid 10 dollars for parking yet was super difficult to park

The room had a slight unpleasant smell when I walked in. The beds were very comfortable. There was no refrigerator and no microwave. I'd recommend the Days Inn down the street for an orderless room with refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker all for about the same price.

This hotel has many pros and cons. Pros.... Great location. Many TV channels. Bed was very comfortable. Parking. Cons ...... NASTY !!! When I checked in the room was overwhelming bleach smell. There were three lamps in the room. Only one worked. Table clock was glued to the bedside table. It's plug was cut off. Bring your oun towels. The ones provided were once white. They were stained and not soft. The toilet ran for 30 seconds every 4 minutes. There is a working ice machine, but no ice bucket or cups are provided. Photos on the website show refrigerators. Sorry, there are none. A sign at front desk says so. The housekeeping staff does their best. The problem with this hotel is the ownership. Best way to describe this place is either, One step above camping, or If you ever wanted to live like a crackhead without the crack. I will NEVER stay here again !!!.

Don't even know where to start. Rented two runs for three nights. No Wifi. No tv in one room. No heat in one room. No fire alarm. Thin, dirty bedding. No light by the nightstand working at all. No fridge. No microwave. No coffee. No shampoo. No condioner and just one small bar of soap. One towel for 4 people. Are you kidding me? Final straw.. Tweekers in the parking lot for hours packing their stuff really creeped me out. Never never again.

Its super cheap for the area, and you are paying for location ( plus $10 per day parking) . You can walk to everything in the presidio, all of chestnut, even the golddn gate bridge. BUt the motel is super dirty , the beds are very old. The bathroom was ALWAYS wet and the door refused to close. The AC didn't work well so it ran 24/7 just trying to stay at 70 in the room. Had i had known beforehand - probably would have shifted our money around and stayed further away and just taken the bus.

The room was pretty clean but there were roaches..lots of them. The shower curtain wouldnt stay shut because the bar holding it up had come unbolted from the wall resulting in water everywhere. The floor tile in the main room was peeling up in the walk way. I did maintenance for eight years here in the city. All the above are easy fixes, dont know why it would be rented that way. It did have a working tv though, which was more than the other motel 6 in the area provided.

Disgusting property. Cockroaches in the bed, black mold on the ceiling and restroom. Cigarette and urine smell. Sticky floor and towels that look like they were used for rags in a mechanic shop. Springy mattress and curtains from the 1970's. Sheets look like they are 30 years old and have never been properly washed. Loud at night with street noise and crazy people yelling. Super sketchy people and activities going on at night. Definitely do not stay here.

I did not expect luxury (it's a Motel 6), but upon entering the room, it had an unpleasant smell that never went away (2 night stay). I found a hair UNDER the covers of one bed, the wood floors were sticky and VERY dirty.mmOne pass across the room in white socks and they were black. Housekeeper never came to clean in between the 2 night stay. Location was the only ting good about the place.

The room was a good size with a small fridge. However, the floors and bathroom were dirty. Like they hadn’t been mopped in days! At check-in, the clerk tried to scam us by charging for parking and saying it had to be paid cash only. We refused so he said he would waive the parking fee this time. The location is perfect. Well, let me start by saying that when we got to the hotel, i knocked on the door and waited. And waited. And waited. Then i had to go track down a housekeeping person to track down the front desk person. Then i was told that there was a $10 parking fee to park in the hotels parking lot. What?? That was NOT in the details when i made my reservation. While the room was clean and appeared to have been painted recently, the bed was horrific. The dip innthe center of the bed made it feel like we were dropping into a cenote and would need climbing ropes to get back out.

First, the attendant wasnt even there. We had to wait for him. The room was nasty. The shower was gross. The bed had no padding so it was uncomfortable. People loud outside and above us. The floors were coming up. The mirror was cracked. The bed only had 2 pillows for a king size bed. I had to pay to park my car in the parking lot. Ill never stay there again. OH YEA, THE TOILET DIDNT FLUSH!!!

The man at the front desk was a bit anxious, but tried to be accommodating. Having said that, the tiles in the floor were torn up creating a hazard, and I informed him of that, and he kind of blew it off. someone might fall and hurt themselves, so I don’t think that room should’ve been rented

Room was okay but the smoke detector was broken (pretty much just wires) and there was a stain on the corner of the bed sheets. The $100 deposit was only supposed to be a hold but was fully charged to my card the day AFTER I checked out and it was never refunded back to me even though I have reached out multiple times since my checkout date. I will most likely have to dispute the charge with my bank. I would not recommend staying here if you value your money.

This place is really nice. Really honest and reasonable rates. I left my charger in the room and I called them and asked them if they could look. They called me back within a few hours and told me that they found the charger which I found to be very considerate of them. Some places wouldn't do that but this place didn't. I would say they're amazing. Thank you for a wonderful night and true honesty in San Francisco

The floor was slimy, like it was coated with vaseline. There were no towels, and only one lamp in the room had a light bulb. The smoke detector had been removed. The staff was rude, and dishonest. I checked out early, and while I was taking my things down to my car, the manager started yelling at me in the parking lot. He said I owed him money for the rest of my reservation, but I left before the checkout time, so Iconsidering the condition of the room, and his treatment of me up to that point, I refused to give him any more money.

We were pleasantly surprised in a good way. The property was in acceptable condition and staff friendly. It was clean and smelled good. We did find one roach and killed it and hadn't found any more after. Our television didn't work twice and the staff fixed the problem. The second time it didn't work was 4a and the staff woke for us and addressed the issue. That was impressive.

This place is an overpriced dump. The location is fantastic; but, the room leaves a lot to be desired. No coffee maker in the room. No plastic cups in the bathroom. The front desk was unable to provide me with info on where I could walk my dog. The place is clean, but run down looking.

This Motel 6 is located on a very busy street. Yet it was surprisingly quiet. Location of this Motel 6 is superb because of the area it is located in has loads of restaurants, shopping, cafes and more! Parking lot was full so I had to park on the street one block away but I was ok with that. Check in and out was very convenient. Room was good, not great but good. Cleanliness of the bathroom and room could have been better. The room definitely needs some “simple modernizing.” Overall I would recommend this Motel 6 for anyone that needs a basic in and out booking. Thank you Motel 6 and Expedia! P.S. I’m planning on utilizing Expedia to book a room at this Motel 6 tonight. :)

We usually don’t expect much, but our room was quite filthy, had plenty of bugs crawling around, and there wasn’t a fridge or microwave in the room, even though the photos showed otherwise. Parking also costs 10 dollars per day, and the lot is open, so I don’t really get what you’re paying for. Staff were friendly and location is great, considering price.

This hotel has many pros and cons. Pros.... Great location. Many TV channels. Bed was very comfortable. Parking. Cons ...... NASTY !!! When I checked in the room was overwhelming bleach smell. They were stained and not soft. The toilet ran for 30 seconds every 4 minutes. There is a working ice machine, but no ice bucket or cups are provided. Photos on the website show refrigerators. Sorry, there are none. A sign at front desk says so. The housekeeping staff does their best. The problem with this hotel is the ownership. Best way to describe this place is either, One step above camping, or If you ever wanted to live like a crackhead without the crack. I will NEVER stay here again !!!.

The room was a good size with a small fridge. However, the floors and bathroom were dirty. Like they hadn’t been mopped in days! At check-in, the clerk tried to scam us by charging for parking and saying it had to be paid cash only. We refused so he said he would waive the parking fee this time. The location is perfect. Lots of food options nearby.

It was rather depressing? There’s no microwave or refrigerator in the rooms like the photos show there was mold in the shower and bath I asked for them to clean it. It didn’t get done and the bathroom light was very hard to turn on. It would flash and flash and flash. I believe it is hooked up to the load side of the GFI. There arecissues with the TVs you have to deal with the remote and satellite. It’s just a hassle.

Room was dirty. Had trash in it. No ice bucket. Was offered a platic trash bag instead. Door jamb busted at lock. rust and mold in bathroom. Stains on everything. A random person kept trying to get in our room at midnight and was banging doors next to our room on and off for a few hours. Never again.

There was dog poop on the sidewalk a few yards from the front entrance. Garbage in the parking lot and we were checked into a dirty room at 9:30 PM. Stayed in plenty of cheap hotels, and I’m from the hospitality industry, so I’m patient. The location was the only good thing here.
