This hotel is very conveniently located in the lodging and retail center of Tulare, just off the 99 freeway at the Prosperity Avenue exit. It is almost surrounded by other lodging establishments (and a quiet office complex), so you may wonder, how do they stand out among multiple adjacent competitors? One winning feature is a unique facility layout, set up as a two-story "line" perpendicular to the freeway and frontage road, so most guests experience a reduced level of traffic noise. This linear footprint also allows for a generously-sized parking lot, which is especially popular with trucks, RV's, and vehicles towing trailers. The layout also shelters the pool area behind the hotel, away from the street and parking lot. The rooms are exceptionally well-designed and decorated, with quality furniture, pleasant decor style, and plenty of room to spread out. My senior citizen parents stayed in a nearby Accessible room, which had a roll-in shower and plenty of other assistive features for limited-mobility guests. The overall facility is kept in great condition, and has clean and well-maintained shared guest amenities. The free breakfast is served in a centrally-located dining area, rather than near the the front desk, which is located at the front end of the facility. Great clean place, friendly staff. Second time staying here. I was pulling a trailer with an expensive car chassis on it and really like their very well lit and camera protected parking. Lots of rigs and trucks with equipment boxes on them so that tells me it is regarded well for safe parking.

Our experience was wonderful! From the pleasant staff to the pool/jacuzzi to the breakfast. Everything was SO GOOD! Our room was great! It was perfectly located to include a grassy area for our dog and super easy parking! Thank you!!!

I will never stay at another Best Western. I made the reservation online but did not bother to check by phone the daily rate for a small pet. I assumed it would be about $25 - the same as other motels. It was an outrageous $40. It is a small amount but the principal of the matter is enough to make me upset and never stay again.

After our first night we decided to stay an additional night. They were already booked out but they still made it possible including fast cleaning of the new room. Thanks for the efforts and great service! The guest laundry is very cheap which was great (1.50$ per wash/dryer).

What matters to me the most is the cleanliness of a property and this place is great! The bathroom is extremely clean and the rest of the room was organized. The desks and side tables were clean of dust as well. The bed was also very clean and it was comfortable. The lady at the front desk was nice (this was around 9-10pm) and the check in and out was easy. We didn't have any issues with this place at all and we'll book again in the future.

It was a great stay. Good location, great service, breakfast was delicious, and plenty of options. My family was pleasantly surprised by the parfait machine 😋 The only reason I could not give 5 stars is that the air conditioner had a really strong damp watery kind of smell that we hoped would go away once the room cools down and that was not the case. It was definitely the AC that had the smell and was bad (I’m not talking about a hint of bad water smell! It was pretty strong). Another thing was that the bathroom floor was not clean—dusty behind the door and hair and other things in the corners. Since the bathroom was on the smaller side it was easily noticeable and I wiped down the floor before letting my kids go in.

AC worked well, we like a nice cool room for sleeping at night and was able to get that. Beds/pillows were comfortable. No issues with anything. Breakfast in the morning was good, they had scrambled eggs/bacon and a waffle machine. Overall, it was fine I'd stay again.

Very clean, large rooms with comfortable beds, good hot breakfast, plenty of free parking. Not much to walk to in the area. They allow dogs, whose barking unfortunately woke me up in the morning. Room had a noisy heater, but they moved us to another room without any fuss. The curtains/blinds allowed in too much light from the brightly lit parking lot. All rooms are away from the main road.

Everything was great, from the lady who checked us in, to the cleaning staff, to the pool and spa being clean and working properly and the breakfast being great. If we had an issue, though, it would be that the walls are really thin. It almost sounds like your door is open when people are outside talking.

The only complaint I have is that our room was near the noisiest ice machine I’ve ever heard. (#121) and the kitchen, so didn’t get such a great sleep with people filling their metal water bottles. I think if we wouldn’t have been near the ice machine, I could give the whole experience four stars.

We stayed for one night as we had an event to attend. We drove down so arrived around 10 PM but had to wait for 10 min as nobody was at the front desk. There was a board at the front desk which said away for 3 min but I waited for 10 min. Breakfast hours are not well posted. We missed breakfast as we went down around 9:40 and it closed at 9 or 9:30. Our room was also far away from the breakfast area which didn’t help. The hotel has a long row style room arrangement and we got the room which was furthest from the front desk. The website and Expedia both do not give details of breakfast so asking the front desk is the best option. It seemed the shower faucet had some rusting inside as if you use it after a few hours gap, there is some red water which comes out for a few seconds before you get clear water. Shampoo was out but body wash and conditioner was available. We reported this to front desk before leaving. Parking was convenient. Rooms were clean and had individual room heaters. Internet connection and speed was good. The front desk gave use and throw toothbrushes as we had forgotten ours which was convenient.

Such a wonderful stay! Maria (I believe that was her name) was super accommodating when I asked about my mom getting a first floor room (we were originally on a 2nd floor). She worked it out so we stay there the days we were there. The breakfast was great too. Overall, I would love to stay here again. I would definitely recommend this place.

This hotel was in a good location. Easy access to the highway and walking distance from Apple Annie's, IHOP and even a Burger King. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The place was getting some touch ups here and there, but nothing that interfered with our stay. We definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very conveniently located in the lodging and retail center of Tulare, just off the 99 freeway at the Prosperity Avenue exit. It is almost surrounded by other lodging establishments (and a quiet office complex), so you may wonder, how do they stand out among multiple adjacent competitors? One winning feature is a unique facility layout, set up as a two-story "line" perpendicular to the freeway and frontage road, so most guests experience a reduced level of traffic noise. This linear footprint also allows for a generously-sized parking lot, which is especially popular with trucks, RV's, and vehicles towing trailers. The layout also shelters the pool area behind the hotel, away from the street and parking lot. The rooms are exceptionally well-designed and decorated, with quality furniture, pleasant decor style, and plenty of room to spread out. My senior citizen parents stayed in a nearby Accessible room, which had a roll-in shower and plenty of other assistive features for limited-mobility guests. The overall facility is kept in great condition, and has clean and well-maintained shared guest amenities. The free breakfast is served in a centrally-located dining area, rather than near the the front desk, which is located at the front end of the facility. Great Best Western property! First time in Tulare Ca due to a trip to Visalia Ca to visit family. Wasn't familar with the area what so ever. But the reviews were good so I went for it. Turned out to be a good decision! Nice and clean. Quiet and close to the interstate. Parking lot was very well lit. The area seemed pretty safe. Shopping and plenty of restaurants in the area at walking distance. Breakfast was free and pretty decent. Will stay again.

Good place to stay. Close to electrify America charger if that is something you are looking for. Used it as a base to visit sequoia park and kings canyon. Room was clean and comfortable.

This hotel was in a good location. Easy access to the highway and walking distance from Apple Annie's, IHOP and even a Burger King. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The place was getting some touch ups here and there, but nothing that interfered with our stay. We definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed for one night as we had an event to attend. We drove down so arrived around 10 PM but had to wait for 10 min as nobody was at the front desk. There was a board at the front desk which said away for 3 min but I waited for 10 min. Breakfast hours are not well posted. We missed breakfast as we went down around 9:40 and it closed at 9 or 9:30. Our room was also far away from the breakfast area which didn’t help. The hotel has a long row style room arrangement and we got the room which was furthest from the front desk. The website and Expedia both do not give details of breakfast so asking the front desk is the best option. It seemed the shower faucet had some rusting inside as if you use it after a few hours gap, there is some red water which comes out for a few seconds before you get clear water. Shampoo was out but body wash and conditioner was available. We reported this to front desk before leaving. Parking was convenient. Rooms were clean and had individual room heaters. Internet connection and speed was good. The front desk gave use and throw toothbrushes as we had forgotten ours which was convenient.

AC worked well, we like a nice cool room for sleeping at night and was able to get that. Beds/pillows were comfortable. No issues with anything. Breakfast in the morning was good, they had scrambled eggs/bacon and a waffle machine. Overall, it was fine I'd stay again.

Older hotel. Clean and everything worked. Breakfast sausage patties were “dubious” and there wasn’t much other choice. Pet fee ($40) is too high. My dog has never ever damaged or soiled anything. Lower the fee and take a damage deposit.

The hotel definitely needs some renovation. The rooms are extremely noisy, and guests were making a lot of noise on the hotel grounds well after midnight. I was woken up around 4:00 a.m. by the noise, which made it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
