It’s is NOT a 9 minute walk to The Big E. Elevator was down at not repaired during our stay on the third floor. Limited free breakfast, and the toaster was broken.

“Systems were down”. When I arrived, I was told they did not have me on their list. I booked through a third party site (Expedia) and was told their systems were down and they over booked. I waited for about 25 minutes before another employee showed up. Shortly after I magically had a room. During this time, I over heard staff saying the elevators were not working again and they also couldn’t make room keys because that system was also “down”. Once my room was ready, the employee had to prop the door open to my room so we could get in. I haven’t stayed at a Best Western for sometime and I won’t be any time soon.

Overall I like this hotel very clean however the only negatives I would say was the elevator was not working but was fixed quickly and the other would be toilet was dirty but happy to stay at this hotel and will star again

We were here for a tournament, selected by team travel agency. The hotel was under renovation. The pool was closed, which we were counting on for the team to relax after a day of games in the heat. There was no where for our team to socialize. Total disappointment. When I checked in with my daughter there were visible crumbs on the sheets and comforter, along with long black strands of hair visible on one of the pillows. There was a lamp with no bulb and missing the lamp shade. We had our room changed and the second room was better. The evening staff were very nice and did their best to accommodate us.

Large potholes all across the driveway. Facility appeared to be having some maintenance upgrades. Room was clean but you could tell there was a lot of wear. One lamp in the room didn't work. AC in the room was very loud when it cycled on, which caused sleep disruptions throughout the night.

Hotel was good but unfortunately the lift had broken down - they were working on it though - first night they said it would be fixed so we took room on 4th floor sadly it didn’t get fixed while we were there. They were just finishing the lobby renovations when I arrived. It looks great. The facility is not new but they've done a great job and the rooms are nice. Helpful staff and a pretty decent breakfast which changes every day. Pool is not open. Easy-peasy parking right next to the lobby! Older female traveler - so that is important.

I will start off by saying the staff were really friendly and welcoming. My only issue with this stay is that the cost was not worth the quality. The curtains had some kind of stains all of them and were falling a part. The bathroom grossed me out too with the patches of mold on the ceiling. Unfortunately these issues aren’t something the staff can resolve, however, the things that were within their ability to clean were in fact clean.

The room seemed clean except dead flies on the sill. The carpets in the 1st floor hall and lobby are very dirty. Dead flies (lots) on air conditioner and sills and on floor by them. Lobby chairs are worn and smelled. The sheers in lobby were not clean, nor the windows.

No matter what room you’ll have, you must contend with a cramped breakfast area that will have people bumping into each other and not nearly enough places to sit. Do not get a room on the first floor, especially one by the recreation area, or you run the risk of noise from inconsiderate people above and people playing table hockey. Sound isolation is not a strong suit of this hotel. Our desk help was good about settling down the family above us, so compliments to him.

Old, rundown, smell, torn curtains. Check in lady was rather rude. Later when we found the a/c was making a terrible noise and couldn’t sleep, her replacement, a young man, was very understanding and helpful. Got us another room and checked it out first. Very friendly and helpful. We only saw 2 cars - thought it was us and the worker. Signs said they are remodeling but we saw no signs as we were there on a Sunday. Remodeling is good - this BW is not pinpoint standards of most we stay in. Disappointed but only stayed 1 night. Cannot recommend.

We were a bit disappointed with this hotel. The rooms were small. The beds were not queen size, even though they are advertised as such. We were told to put dirty towels in the hallway and they would be replaced, but they weren't. The walls are thin and we could hear the people in the next room talking at a normal voice volume. The breakfast wasn't good. But the room was clean.

I was put in a room that as soon as you walked in, it was obvious room had not been cleaned after the previous guests. I went back downstairs to tell the guy who checked us in and he insisted the computer said it had been cleaned. He went upstairs to check for himself to confirm that I wasn’t lying. When he came back there was no apology for the error. All he said was he will put us in a different room. I understand mistakes happen but owning up and apologizing for mistakes goes a long way.

The person on the desk was able to change room assignment to adjoining rooms. He also offered bottles of cold water to take up to rooms. I forgot a pillow after check out and was able to send someone to see if still there. Staff went to room and found it! Yay.

Had a good stay here. Only disappointment was when i went to use the clothes washers for my extended stay. Front desk couldn't supply quarters and the vending machine with detergent was empty. Otherwise, no issues, I would stay there again as it is a good value. Breakfast was fine, not fancy but certainly sufficient. Well attended to by staff during the breakfast hours and clean. Front desk staff was all friendly, professional and helpful.

Absolutely ruined my plans. Expedia advertises its .22 miles from landmark and 9 min walk. Its about a 15 min drive and you cant walk to landmark you have to go on the highway. Place stunk like a sewer.

MIXED: We booked 5 nights stay for a sports tournament. The area is pretty sketchy. Hotels to the left and right are both shuttered. The check-in process at 2am was easy. Sign at the counter says the room will be cleaned on day 3. This did not happen. When I asked for fresh towels (I wasn’t going to reuse for a 4th time) the desk attendant said he would write it down in the cleaning staffs book. When we came back from travel on day 4, room still not cleaned. He was very apologetic. The walls are paper thin, woke up to a couple fighting around 5am, rap music being played extremely loudly around 6:30. Standout employees include the night staffer who gave us the towels and answered my 16 year olds silly questions and the breakfast room attendant. He made sure everything was full and if you needed anything he would get it. Breakfast was the usual BW style, eggs, sausage, cereal, etc. Overall, property is in need of a refresher but the staff is really nice.

No matter what room you’ll have, you must contend with a cramped breakfast area that will have people bumping into each other and not nearly enough places to sit. Do not get a room on the first floor, especially one by the recreation area, or you run the risk of noise from inconsiderate people above and people playing table hockey. Sound isolation is not a strong suit of this hotel. Our desk help was good about settling down the family above us, so compliments to him.

It’s is NOT a 9 minute walk to The Big E. Elevator was down at not repaired during our stay on the third floor. Limited free breakfast, and the toaster was broken.

We stayed here on a trip to a theme park in the area. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the beds were comfortable. We called last minute and asked to add a conjoining room to our stay. They were more than accommodating. The breakfast was one of the better ones I've seen at a hotel since Covid, with lots of choices and fresh food. Will stay here again next time we visit.

Had a good stay here. Only disappointment was when i went to use the clothes washers for my extended stay. Front desk couldn't supply quarters and the vending machine with detergent was empty. Otherwise, no issues, I would stay there again as it is a good value. Breakfast was fine, not fancy but certainly sufficient. Well attended to by staff during the breakfast hours and clean. Front desk staff was all friendly, professional and helpful.

Very nice staff. Breakfast options were good. Beds were comfortable but I wish they would have been queen beds. The carpet was frayed in one of our rooms which I did not like and that room also had a fridge that wasn't working properly.
