The property is listed as 2 star. It meets/exceeds this. Staff is superb. This is a well used facility with a swimming pool with a handicap lift. The area was well looks after with a clean restroom/dressing room. You have to let the desk know you want to use the pool. They open the door “to prevent the locals from using the pool”. Lovely dining options (Cal’s) nearby for upper scale options. The rooms are tired, walls thin, but clean. Coin laundry is for guests. Our TV was the big disappointment. It needed to be rebooted, but in the AM, was again not functioning. Breakfast offered yogurts, egg, hash brown and sausage patties for you to make an English muffin type sandwich, or have next to your waffles. Good coffee. This is a good inexpensive option. If you prefer more luxurious hotels, do not choose this one. For an inexpensive good nights’s sleep, clean shower and simple pool, this might be for you. Ask the staff before you commit for room placement options. There are 5 floors.

I like to swim when I stay and this hotel said it had an indoor pool, but it didn't say it doesn't heat it. The water was 60 degrees and though it was open till 10 pm the lights were never turned on.

Nice staff. Rooms were good but hallway was smelly. The pool was not heated and I got this hotel primarily for the pool. That was disappointing .

This hotel needs some renovations. The staff was helpful. The morning breakfast was adequate. Our room need some TLC. The pool and exercise rooms were up-to-date. The location is across from the mall, lots of places to eat, and parking lot had room for vehicles of all sizes. The room rate was fair.

The pool was good. Around 9pm my kids and wife kept saying they were getting bit. I laughed it off and said they were crazy. My wife said it must be a mosquito because i had the balcony door open earlier. Around 2am i went to the bathroom and when i came back i found 2 Bedbugs on my blanket. I FREAKED out and woke everyone up. I have attached a picture of 1 of them. We looked to the back of the bed near the pillows and saw like 10. My wife grabbed a couple and put them in a baggy. We packed up and went to the front desk and woke up the guy. We were sooooooo upset and gave this guy probably a little more heat than expected. We threw the baggy at him and told him to look at them. He was probably scared and we turned around and left. We then had to drive 3.5 hours back to Maine. Ugh Hotels.com was very understanding and gave a full refund. Please DO NOT stay at this hotel.

Since the hotel is located on the edge of the freeway, the front section with the king-size bed rooms is extremely noisy. Even with earplugs, it was unbearable. However, the staff managed to give me a room that was on the other side, so it was very quiet. The other problem was the smell of marijuana in the corridors, elevators and even a little in my bathroom. A smell that for me made me nauseous. As for the location, it was perfect for what I had to do.

The hotel itself was very rundown. It smelled of mold. The room was disgustingly dirty. There looked to be blood on one of the walls in the bathroom. There is mold in the shower smelled in the room curtains had stuff all over them. Not sure what it actually was not sure if I want to know either. The beds were comfortable were comfortable. The sheets appeared clean, but I did not get a good nights sleep because I was kind of grossed out. The hotel is reasonably price and that is why we chose to stay there and it didn’t have horrible reviews, but I would never go back.

The property was very noisy at night, with the neighbours running up and down the corridor and jumping around the room till past midnight, no night security presence. There were Bed Bugs too, and I have been bitten over a dozen times. This is NOT quality!

Another great stay at this Quality Inn for a trip to Six Flags. Check in was quick, the man at the desk was friendly, and I got a 5th floor room as requested. I was in room 509, a 2 queen, and it was clean, comfortable beds, 4 pillows on each bed, and overall was quite pleasant. The room only had 1 chair and was missing the table however. Bathroom was clean, some small rust spots on ceiling brackets holding the drop ceiling, and I was missing a towel for the floor outside the shower, so had to use a bath towel instead. Good water pressure and very hot water! Breakfast was the usual here, but the young woman working the breakfast was frequently tending to items, restocking, and everything was always full! She was wonderful! For a Sunday in October, the room was a great value and I will certainly stay again when visiting Six Flags! My last visit, I stayed at the Blue hotel next door, which was fantastic, but more expensive this visit, and Quality Inn offers free breakfast which is nice!

Needs freshening up. Our slider did not lock. Called the front desk and they brought a rod to put in the track to lock it The rolling cot we requested, you could feel all the metal springs in the mattress VERY hard to sleep on metal springs in your back.

Check in was fine, got the basic information we needed. When I walked into our guest room it sounded like a window was open. Later found out that the sliding door to the balcony was off its track or the building had settled and the door did not close all the way at the top and was very drafty, it was very noisy b/c it faced the main road. The lighting wasn't great and one of the desk lamps didn't work or possibly didn't have a bulb. It was otherwise clean enough and a place to stay, but better, more modern locations might be available elsewhere closer to where we needed to be. When I was in/out in the morning the desk clerk was on her cell phone on a personal call and didn't acknowledge me when I passed the desk twice while nobody else was in the lobby. All and all it was affordable but I know they could do better with the facility and was a bit outdated.

The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was mid, as only pork sausage was offered as a meat option. The television kept going out, staff had to come to our room three different times to connect us back to the satellite/cable. Finally, the front desk gave us an update that there was an issue with the connection. May have to frequently contact the front desk for certain items like towels and toiletries like shampoo, as our rooms were half-empty (they are bottles attached to the wall). There is a convenient restaurant next door with pretty decent food. There are also some stores and other restaurants across the highway.

Check in was at 3pm, got there at around 4:30pm and room was still not available, a little annoyed that I had to wait to have a room ready. I know the the guy at the receptionist was getting overwhelmed and frustrated over the fact that there were people waiting for rooms and honestly he managed amazingly. But the fact that I got there 1h30 after check in time and there wasn’t a room available is a little unacceptable

Hotel itself seemed a bit run down (i.e., glade plug ins in the halls, sketchy elevator, questionable bathtub/shower, some lights out in the room). Sheets and towels were thankfully clean. Great variety of warm breakfast options, even close to the end of breakfast time. Hospitality staff was nice. Our room card stopped working an hour before check out so we could to get back into our room after breakfast without staff help. Check out was fast.

Easy check in, great staff. When checking out I realized I left my iPad in the room. Hours later I called and they found it! They held it for me until I picked it up. I was so relieved! Thanks!

We arrived to check in with a pre-paid reservation through Expedia. The hotel did not have our reservation. Spent almost an hour on the phone with Expedia who called and emailed the hotel. Hotel still couldn’t find our booking. They had no open rooms so we had to find another hotel. Only 1 room a available for only 1 night. We returned to Quality Inn for the other 2 nights. They still didn’t have our reservation so I had to put it on my credit card. When we returned from a day out, our room had not been cleaned and all the wet towels were on the floor. We called the front desk: housekeeping was gone for the day but we could come down for fresh towels.
We arrived to check in with a pre-paid reservation through Expedia. The hotel did not have our reservation. Spent almost an hour on the phone with Expedia who called and emailed the hotel. Hotel still couldn’t find our booking. They had no open rooms so we had to find another hotel. Only 1 room a available for only 1 night. We returned to Quality Inn for the other 2 nights. They still didn’t have our reservation so I had to put it on my credit card. When we returned from a day out, our room had not been cleaned and all the wet towels were on the floor. Upon arrival the hotel is on a road only accessible when traveling down one side of the road the gps took us the the rear entrance which was over grown by shrubs and garbage everywhere. When we got inside to check in the lady at the desk was short with me and rude regarding my reservation and it not being in the system after I pressed the issue she magically found it. When we got to our room the hallway smelled like cigarettes once in our room we found there was no toilet paper and found a pair of boxers hanging on the bathroom door. We left for dinner and when we came back the nice man working the desk gave us toilet paper which proved to be useless since the toilet was clogged. The lady that checked us in also charged us twice for the room the kind man working the night shift corrected this for us. When we checked out the lady at the counter blew us off I then left a Google review in which the manager blew me off as well. Definitely won't stay here again

Recently stayed two nights at the Quality Inn at the end of June. Check in was quick, staff was friendly, and I got my room request, towards the back of the building on a higher floor. I had room 423, it was clean, fairly good condition, everything worked, although fridge took a few hours to cool my drinks, and beds were comfortable. Each queen bed had 3 pillows and I couldn't remember if they used to have 4 each, but I think they did. The room was a great value and there were improvements since my last stay in April. They no longer start clearing breakfast before it ends at 9am, and it was well stocked especially Tuesday morning. Monday morning things were running out and I didn't see staff at all for the last 20 minutes. There was still plenty to eat though. Tuesday, staff kept things full and cleaned the serving area. The AC worked great, decent water pressure, bathroom was clean, and plenty of towels. I overall enjoyed my stay and had no issues. After check out, staff later called as they believed I had left an item behind, and they wanted to figure out how to return it to me, however it wasn't one of my items, but a nice gesture nonetheless! My go to hotel when visiting the area for Six Flags and will continue visiting! Glad to see some improvements! Wish I had more time to take a swim and pool closes at 10pm! Try Tokyo restaurant next door or Wood N Tap down the street for some great dinners!

This is very close to the Interstate. Although we booked well in advance we were allocated a room on the side closest to the road. Noise and light from the side of the building did disrupt sleep. The rest of the experience was good

The hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk was very friendly. The area around the hotel is a bit shady and did not feel very safe. The outside of the hotel was not very nice. You could see some of the first floor curtains were ripped and in subpar condition.

The hotel was right next to the freeway, which normally is not a problem but this was next level. It was hard to find off the highway as it was divided and the turn/signage was not well marked, however it seems like the entire area was like that. Decent breakfast.

Inside the hotel is fairly standard, well kept and clean. The breakfast was standard with all the usual options of cereal, toast, bagels, ect., and the staff I talked to were friendly and helped me with finding things in and around town. Outside, however, it\'s very unimpressive and overall looks like a place you wouldn\'t want to leave your car overnight. An opinion supported by the big "properly not responsible for vehicles" in the lot. Which I can understand given how set back from any possible viewing from somewhere other than a room on the side it\'s on. The VERY small balcony I had looked over an on/off ramp for the interstate and the noise made it hard to sleep. I didn\'t bother going out on it after looking out the door too it. The room itself was nice other than the noise. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room so I didn\'t feel claustrophobic. The bathroom is smallish but functional although, the shower took a bit to get warm where I was on the 4th floor. Overall, if you can ignore the outside it\'s an an okay place to stop if you need a place to rest on a long trip but I wouldn\'t spend more than one night if your going to be staying in the area long

The hotel is easy to find because it is right off the highway. The highway is noisy though. The guy at the desk was friendly and helpful. They have a small pool and fitness center. They have a good breakfast between 6 and 9 am during the week and 7 to 10 on the weekends. There is an Oriental restaurant next to the hotel. They have good food. It is a decent place to stay at when in Springfield.

I have stayed at this Quality Inn over a dozen times as I always stay here when in the area to visit Six Flags. I love the Japanese restaurant next door too! Check in was fast, the man at the counter wasn't overly friendly, but my request for a higher floor was granted, and I had room 415. My room had a broken desk lamp, the fridge was replaced and in a different part of the room, and my room was missing the table and chairs by the balcony. It also had a metal edge on the desk, to likely cover some wear and tear, and the furniture had some minor scuffs/issues. When I went to bed, this has never happened before, but it seemed statically charged, as with lights off, as I touched the sheets, it would light up in flashes, it was quite odd! The room was mostly clean, some crumbs here and there, but overall it was fine. Bathroom was clean and I see they have changed to the fill-able bottles in shower. Breakfast was a terrible experience. First off, now you have to use the room key to enter. It ends at 9am, I got there at 8:30 and there was NO hot food, no eggs, sausage, nothing... Waffle machine took 5 minutes to fill a cup of batter as it was nearly empty. A guest had to plead the young woman working breakfast for some milk for cereal. She then begins removing the muffins at 8:45am. I went hungry as I had 3 little muffins and 2 yogurts and called it quits and had to buy food after. A pitiful holiday breakfast filled with upset guests... May start staying elsewhere...

Recently stayed two nights while in the area for Six Flags. My visit went well, there were no issues, the room was clean, and I had requested a specific room, as I also stayed in August, and got it, even with it being a fully booked Saturday! They also let me check out an hour late at 12pm on Monday! Staff I engaged with were friendly at the desk, not so much at breakfast. Sunday morning breakfast lady locked the door to enter at 9:53 and my friend was in the bathroom and I had to let him in. Monday, the man was sitting around waiting for breakfast time to end, some people came in just before 9am, and at 9am sharp, he began clearing everything, was slamming things around, and seemed angry/annoyed. Breakfast itself was fine, lots of options, eggs and sausage were tasty, as were the waffles. Juices first day were watered down/running low but better Monday morning. My room was great, comfortable beds, 4 pillows each (queen) bed, room was clean, but the same small problems from my last stay continued. The tall lamp has to be plugged into wall to turn on/off, bathroom seems dark in shower, and there is no luggage rack, room 521. For dining, we went to the Tokyo restaurant next door that was great, and the Wood N Tap for dinner the other night, just down the street, that was wonderful! The room we had was updated. I see they are working on the place. It needs more updating though. Breakfast area isn’t much to be desired for facilities. Selections ok but the fruit was melding that was placed out. Lots of restaurants and stores in this location. Town seems a bit in need of new paved roads.

The pool was closed, and then kinda smelled super strong from the shock. But the screen thingy could have been opened more. Also the remote tv situation didn’t work, which was a pain but we weren’t in the room much. Also the breakfast room is stuffy and crowded and it’s not a good set up. But breakfast was fine.

But, considering it's halls with pungent unpleasant smells, the front desk's inappropriate questions upon check in and the cold and unpleasant complimentary breakfast, I will recognize housekeeping staff, their kindness and the very well kept room.
