Motel 6-Hazelwood, MO

Clean room. Property is well maintained. My stay was pleasant.

We had bed bugs in the first room. After being moved to another room, after midnight, the 2nd room had a toilet that would not flush. The next day, we were moved to a 3rd room. The elevator and hallways smell like Marijuana.

The hotel, in the hallways, either smelled strongly of takeout or cigarette smoke. The egress stairs were key card locked from the inside. The room itself was rather warm and humid, so the A/C unit was extremely necessary, but if you ran it, the room would fill with the smell of old cigarette smoke as if someone just lit up. The corners in the room look as od they have never been touched with a broom, mop, or any cleaner. The floor around the toilet is no different. There was mold growing in the poorly applied chalking arpund the bathtub. The floors is very uneven and the toilet is very short and poorly installed, so if you have trouble getting around or are disabled, it would be very hard to move around in the room safely. Overall it was a very diappointing stay.

Easy parking, clean room. The shower was terrible. Full hot had great pressure, but cold or anything other than full hot was just a trickle. I’m not being overly picky, but this was a difficult showering experience.
