The hotel seemed very unfull when I arrived, yet I was given a room with its one window facing the pool, in direct line of sight of people using the pool. And the room evidently backed up on the pool’s restrooms, as I could hear the squeaking doors in those bathrooms like they were right next to me. And one of the elevators seemed to go in and out of service. Also, the rooms are under-lit, based on the lighting in my room.

Expedia said there was charging for an electric car. But there was NOT. When we drive across the country, we like to choose a hotel with a charger so we start the day with a full battery. If a charger is added it would likely attract more guests. Otherwise, it’s a nice place. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was nice and the in-room coffee was good

The parking is not ideal. We paid for 2 days of parking and when we tried to leave to go to dinner we went to both exits and neither one took the barcode from the receipt showing we paid for 2 days nor did it take our room key. We had to pay again to get out and then pay again to get back in after dinner. It was very frustrating; however, the front desk said they would refund those 2 additional payments and as of 24 hours later I still do not see the refund.

This is a nice hotel in a very dead part of the Clayton central business district. We were there on the weekend - the neighborhood may be more lively during the week. We experienced a lot of small frustrations with the amenities at the hotel. We booked the hotel because it had a pool, but learned on check-in that the pool would be closed due to a private event. It was 90 degrees out and we wanted to swim. But we regrouped, and saw in the room's welcome materials that the hotel had a partnership with the Art Museum offering free admission. So we decided to do that instead of the pool. However, when we walked downstairs to request the details, we were informed that the partnership had actually ended. Finally, we went back upstairs, where the private event music was so loud that we had to turn our television to 100, the maximum volume setting, just to be able to hear it. So be aware that this hotel will prioritize events over guests and keep that in mind. That said, the facility is very nice and modern, and the room was clean and well-appointed.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The pool area and staff were great. I do wish they would keep the outdoor area open later, to just sit and relax outdoors, but the whole area closes at 8pm. The only other thing that was a little bit of a bummer was the lighting in the room; it was super dark! Not a huge deal, just made doing hair and make up a little harder.

Very surprised as to how dirty and poorly kept this was - from food all over the floors in the elevators, to sticky night tables in the room, marks all over the walls, debris on the floor. Felt dirty. Room was very uncomfortable- humid and a/c barely worked. Tiny bathroom. Would not recommend and would not return.

Nice hotel in a great location. Only negative is there was not housekeeping room clean-up one of the days. This is a consistent problem with this hotel. When you get back to your room at the end of the day, you never know if your room will be made up or not. Otherwise, excellent as usual.

Clean, safe property in central Clayton. Nice rooms, though tiny bathrooms. I mean TINY. We requested housekeeping for the two days we were there, and we didn’t get even one. I even told the front desk when we were leaving our room on day two, and still no housekeeping members showed up. Very poor service. The front desk and bar staff were very kind, however. It is not the hotel’s fault the property was overrun by misbehaved kids staying there for sporting events, but it did make for a loud stay.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The pool area and staff were great. I do wish they would keep the outdoor area open later, to just sit and relax outdoors, but the whole area closes at 8pm. The staff was very nice and the restaurant was great. It’s a safe clean area in Clayton as well. However the rooms are very very small and our tiny bathroom had beat up trim that had water damage and a faulty toilet. Most annoying was that the thermostat didn’t work - our room was at a constant 71 degrees and engineering didn’t even try to adjust it- they just said ‘all of our rooms are that temperature’ - so we sweat all night long. Not a 4 star hotel experience.

We had a good stay as a family. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Rooms are on smaller side and bathrooms are tiny, especially the shower. Pool area is nice and they have good drinks at the pool bar. We were disappointed about not having a fridge, but we later saw a sign in our room that said you can request one. They brought one up within 5 minutes of requesting it. We had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

Disappointed by the lack of employees available to help guests. Phone rang forever with no pickup, valet took 20 minutes or more. Single employees were noticeably doing more than 1 job. For $300/night, I definitely expected more. Not sure I’ll be back

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We did not have any issues except when we were leaving. The valet did not ask us to assist us in getting our vehicle. We stood there for ten minutes and then asked if we could be serviced and the valet guy said he didn’t see us when he saw us walk outside with our luggage. Then he just hands us the key to the car and did not assist with helping us with our luggage or pulling the car up for us after we paid for valet the entire stay.

Love how comfortable these rooms are. They feel clean and newly decorated. They also have an amazing gym on the top floor that looks out over Forest Park. The restaurant is great and provides order ahead breakfast, which was convenient. The staff is always nice. The area the hotel is located in is very safe, but there isn't much open at night to walk to. So a care is necessary. Parking is available, but feels a bit scary to walk through (might just be the St. Louis vibe). But you do need a room key to get in and out, so probably fine.

My family and I stayed for one night to attend a show at the Fabulous Fox Theater. Being in the Clayton business district, the area felt to be very safe for our purposes. Secure and covered parking was a big plus. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

Nice hotel. The rooms are a little on the small side but clean and well furnished. Staff was very nice and professional but not really the most warm, welcoming vibe. Kind of a conference hotel/high volume hotel feel. The bar staff is top-notch but I just wished they stayed open a little later. The parking garage was expensive and a little complicated to navigate.

From arrival to departure after 2 nights, EVERYTHING was perfect. Easy valet service, friendly front desk, nice appointed room, very well equipped and nice fitness center, great coffee in the lobby for purchase and best of all, room service food was excellent. We ate 2 meals from room service and BOTH were excellent. Steak meal, Salmon club, Hamburger and Steak Sandwich we ALL perfect. We will be back.

We had a great stay at the hotel. Utilizing the peloton bikes at the hotel gym and eating breakfast at the hotel, it was great. Views of Clayton as well as downtown from the gym were great for this out of towner. However, Hotels.com listed electric car charging as an amenity and they do not have any sort of charger. This added a lot of stress to our trip and we likely would have chosen to stay at another hotel. We were extremely disappointed.

Le Méridien in Clayton MO is always our “Go to” hotel when we visit St Louis. It’s the best and has a surprisingly good restaurant for a hotel.

The property was nice but overpriced. The rooms are small. We were with a wedding group and all parties had problems with the coffee maker each room which forced us to buy coffee at $4 per cup and even more if room service was used. Parking was also $28 per night.

We are pool people and this was a fun pool for the kids. No hot tub but really nice lounge areas for people to visit. No fridge in room but beds were VERY comfortable & clean. Loved our stay!! Great coffee in the lobby too which is always important. :-)
