This was a great place to stay for the price. Room was exceptionally clean. Bed was very comfortable. We liked the hard floor as opposed to carpet. The breakfast selection was fantastic--about everything you could imagine on a take and go--Cereals, breakfast sandwiches, juices, Danish, bagels, coffee, tea etc. Easy parking adjacent to room. Friendly and very helpful staff.

Lovely lobby with excellent staff. Coffee available all day. Happy hour w fresh baked cookies. Serviceable breakfast. D cent outdoor area for lounging outside lobby. The room was spacious and clean. Decor was modest. TV screen large and new but channel options limited. No view of o speak of. Quiet at night. If you’re in town for UO-related activities you can’t beat the location, directly across the street from Matthew Knight Arena. Only complaint was that AC unit rattled. Only stayed one night so know way of knowing how quickly it got seen to. Would stay here again.

What a nice place to stay. It is an older motel that has been tastefully renovated. It is VERY convenient to restaurants, Matthew Knight Arena, Hayward Field and several good restaurants, Tequila Burrito, Asian Buffett, plus a Starbucks and A Taste of India. The bed was new and so comfy. The lobby area inviting and they have a very nice breakfast section. Outside there is a cool space to sit and visit that has pretty foliage, nice chairs and fire pits. Also available are some yummy sounding craft beers and ciders. We will definitely stay here again.

This place is a gem. My room was clean, the small outdoor area with fire pits a welcome surprise & carry out breakfast (much of it local) delicious! Every employee was happy & helpful. Definitely be returning!

Our stay was excellent. We were able to park our car early, before check-in, and walk to the Duck's game. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with gluten free options, yummy granola and yogurt, breakfast sandwiches, great coffee, and good food choices. The room was clean and comfortable.

Love the concept of refurbishing an old motel and making it hip. Check in was easy, clerk was wonderful and warm. When I got in the room the bathroom floor was still wet from cleaning and there was hair on the floor and in the shower. Tiny things, but important.

Found this place near Autzen Stadium and enjoyed our stay. The building was a little bit older, but the room looked brand new. The location is very convenient and walkable to University or Oregon and Autzen Stadium. The room was very clean and quiet. and I he bed and pillows were comfortable. The only negative issue is the shower head was very low. The shower head was at shoulder level, so washing your hair requires you to really bend down awkwardly. Different shower heads could make this our go-to place for Duck games.

Stayed here for one night on a work trip. Property has done some nice renovations to the room and lobby area. However, the wifi was flaky to the point of being completely useless. I was not that far from the lobby either (room 204), so there should have been no reason for this. I mentioned this issue, but was told it was fine. I had to leave early the next day to go to Starbucks to get my work done. This will absolutely keep me from staying here again, sadly.

The shower did not work properly. Water came through faucet more than shower head. Also, the tub was very slippery and had no grab bars. Most importantly, there are NO towel racks . On the plus side, personnel were very pleasant, and accommodating. The room was large, bed was comfortable, and was easy access to the campus.

The weather stripping was missing from door. A big gap led to outside. Temperature hard to control, noisier, and bugs and light came right in the room. The shower was taped together and shower head was so low, I’m only 5’2” and I had to bend down a lot to wash my hair.

I was here for a large track and field meet. I wanted to stay at a hotel that I could just walk to the events instead of worrying about parking. The Location of the Maverick is awesome. The staff is friendly and nice. Although the rooms are a little older, the cleanliness and condition is very good. Breakfast was nice as well with quite a few local options--the coffee was some of the best I've had anywhere!! Two complaints were the traffic noise coming through the windows or around the door was pretty loud. The other is that the curtains faced right into the sunrise and didn't seal off the light. My room got really bright, really fast in the morning. Still a really good stay and a great location!

The lobby is like a comfy living room and the workers were all very friendly and easy going. The room had a refrigerator and microwave and lots of outlets. Everything was just easy and comfortable. Also, I really appreciated they let me check out late and just charged $10/hour for being late. A lot better than offering to store my luggage like most places do.

At check-in the receptionist told me locals aren’t allowed to stay there according to policy. “People who live within 33 miles of Eugene are not supposed to be able to stay here according to policy.” Seems like a bad idea in the off season, but oh well. There are better stays in Eugene for far less money.

It is located in downtown and close to the university of Oregon. The staff is very very nice, initially he gave us a room facing the parking lot. I told him that I hope to get a room on the opposite (as I can not sleep well with the noise on the road, he changed the room for me. It is very quiet to stay in the hotel. The room is big, the shower and hot water are very good.

It’s on a very busy street, but our room was on the back side facing a quiet alley. Quite a few restaurants easy to walk to. Breakfast was included with much better coffee than most hotels and good quality breakfast items. Recent remodel and updates made it quite comfortable.

We were told that breakfast was until 1030a but the lobby was locked up before that. My husband was just there to see what they offered, and nothing was said about closing early. Otherwise, we had an enjoyable time. The office staff at check in was very helpful

I really liked the place. Staff was super nice, the rooms were nicely appointed. Really liked the upscale blinds. The breakfast was not inspired. really minimal. Coffee was good, which is always nice.
