Fairfield Inn Dulles Airport Chantilly

Helpful, friendly staff. Park and fly option was exceptionally convenient. Very nice breakfast.

They are listed as having a pool, there’s pictures of the indoor pool on the Expedia site and their site and when we got there the pool had been closed for good.

Stayed here for a show at the expo center. It’s about a mile away but not really walkable. Parking lot was dark. Noise from planes overhead. Small breakfast area. Pool is no longer there. Nice gym. Comfortable beds. Nice guy at desk

Very nice front desk staff. Rooms are clean. Only issue is that airport shuttles run between 6am and 11pm. So if you coming via late flight or leaving very early flight you have to get Uber. I paid $25 for Uber each way.

We loved our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the staff was great. I would totally recommend this hotel. They have a free airport shuttle. When we went there, shuttle driver wasn't available so they booked complimentary lyft ride for us to the airport. Their breakfast is good too.

Hotel & room were clean and great bed to sleep as a couple on King bed. Bfast was fully stocked and great. Shuttle quits at 11pm so Flt arrivals after this would be taxi or ride apps. Uber is quick while Lyft had waits in excess of 15 mins.

We booked here because they said there was an airport shuttle. We got here and they told us there is no longer a shuttle on weekends. We would have booked somewhere else had we known.

When we arrived, the building looked totally different than the picture on the Internet. When we asked about the pool, which was advertised, they told me that the pool had been closed for over a year. They offered no discount of tue rate that we stayed overnight due to the pool being closed. Free breakfast was offered in the morning which I now see why it was free. Everything was cold, which includes sausage eggs potatoes. They begin serving at 7 AM and we were there at 7:15 and this is what we found. And the bread was stale the best part about, this breakfast was a gluten-free muffin. We will not be booking a stay at this hotel for our next trip.

The staff was very nice and very friendly- no issues at all. The facility itself sorely needs updating and has some design flaws. There was only one very small driveway in and out from the side road to the hotel, and parking was very limited. Parking in front of the lobby entrance was made awkward by an unfortunately placed curb, essentially requiring a three point turn to back into one of those spaces. The room had no USB ports on any of the outlets- not one. I had to charge my phone by plugging in to the back of the TV. The only Ice machine in the e tire hotel was on the first floor and did not work. The breakfast area established for the food is extremely small, cramped, and with only 2-3 guests there, Made for traffic jams and bumping into each other constantly. For some reason, the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were located closest to the shower head (instead of the opposite wall) causing anyone taking a shower to repeatedly bump into those dispensers every time you turn around to rinse off. One thing that always bugs me (it’s an individual thing) was when you open the room door, still standing in the hallway you are staring at the toilet in the bathroom. The toilet also required holding the flush handle down for several seconds to get it to work. It just needs updating and more thought put into room design.

Housekeeping was suppose to come every other day. Didn’t happen. We had to go get towels and coffee packets. Toilet didn’t flush correctly.

Room- toliet ranning all the time, shower control was loose, cobwebbs hanging from ceiling. Dust on the lamp shades., and bathroom door did not close. Dinning room the chairs were very worn. Not a good stay.

Property was clean and friendly however during my 1 night stay there was something biting me. I asked the front desk to have someone call me regarding this situation and no one has called back.

The hotel was greatly located to our convinience, they offer airport suttle service but there was a huge bed bug in my son's bed.

Bathroom extractor did not work. We notified front desk. No action taken. Room service was not done on three night stay.

Very friendly service and great value for your money. Free airport shuttle available and a couple of restaurants within a walking distance from the hotel. Rooms are clean.

Staff was courteous. The room was clean.

The property and room were ok. However, the housekeeper didn’t change the sheets between guests and I ended up sleeping on a bed with food/drinks stains.

For this stay I only rate it as average. The Expedia site said it had a pool but when we got there we found out it doesn’t. I would not have stay there had I known that. The window in the room had no way to fully close the curtains so we had light shining in all night. Although they only had cleaning service ever other day (which is normal right now), there were times they made the beds, but didn’t replace all the towels and wash cloths and took hand soap that was left, but never replaced it. There were other minor things that just added to the stay and made it just average. The location was great, but there were other hotels near that maybe better.

Older hotel. Minimum water pressure at sink, although shower did work. Cleanliness was fine until on day 3 the cleaning caused the toilet to smell like urine. Thermostat did work well, unusual for an older hotel.

Bathroom was a bit dated. Shower door wouldn't close fully. Room door needed a hard shove to open.

Everything was great, no added stress incurred using Fairfield. Traveling across countries is hard enough. We checked in, parked our vehicle and it was included in our stay. Slept well on nice beds and had a great breakfast when we awoke to finish our trip back home.

Nice hotel for the aviation enthusiast - jets fly straight over you and we loved it. Very quite, though, as little night traffic, so you can sleep good in excellent comfy beds. Breakfast was good, too!

Had a terrible experience staying at this hotel. Upon checking into my room, I was shocked to discover that it wasn't cleaned. I had to contact the front desk to get another. There was no apology from the front desk guy. Even though this hotel advertises that they provide a complimentary roundtrip airport shuttle service, they told me that they will offer the shuttle service only to the airport, but not back to the hotel from the airport.

Well located near Dulles IAP and main thoroughfares in Fairfax, Loudon, and Prince William Counties. Lots of restaurants and other commercial entities nearby. But this also made for a lot of noise from airliners. People working front desk were terrible. Took forever to check us in, even though manned by 2 people. Then after we got into our room, they assigned another couple to our room and they (unintentionally) walked in on us. Very un-responsive, otherwise. The Fitness room was fairly well equipped but missing towels on all but one day of our 6 day stay. Included a nice water fountain and cup/bottle filler, but no cups. Room was well appointed but HVAC unit was difficult to control and room was either too hot or too cold. Other staff members such as lady working the breakfast bar and shuttle driver were nice.

No powerin the hotel and none of the emergency lights were operating. We had to use our phone flashlights. Employees dodnt seem to care about safety.

It’s a couple weeks since we stayed at the Fairfield Inn Chantilly 7/24 to 7/25/23, but I have to post this review. Our stay was wonderful! It was the staff that made this hotel stand out. Felt like staying at a family run B&B. We arrived late on 7/24 with 3 kids and 5 bags plus baby seats and everything. Instead of having to wait for a shuttle bus, as soon as I called the hotel the friendly gentleman at the front desk called a Lyft for us. Unfortunately the big suv was too small for us (Nissan Armada with captain chairs and not enough trunk space) so we called again. The gentleman called another, bigger group Lyft, but instead of a Suburban or something big a Tahoe came out, too small again. I called again feeling bad, but the gentleman was super understanding and simply called two large Lyft for us. The next morning we needed to go to the car rentals at the airport, Two ladies were at the front desk, talking to us and our kids in the nicest way. Lyzzet (as far as we remember the name) tried to call a Lyft for me (the plan was for me to pick up a rental and then pick up my family). Unfortunately the system to orders a Lyft car, was down. Lyzzet apologized many times and after trying for 15 minute said, if everything fails, I will drive you personally. A couple minutes later, she was able to have another hotel employee drop me off at the airport. The young lady was super friendly too, we talked about family and kids. She made sure to drop me off right at the rental office!!

Nothing I liked about the property. Front desk reception is an older man who was very rude when I asked what time was check in and my room wasn’t ready until 7pm at night I literally got in town at 230pm and just had to sit around which is crazy to me. He was so rude about it like so rude .

They let me check in early and we're super nice about me showing up early. The staff has been very helpful.

I needed a Fairfield Inn that is closer to the Dulles Airport as I flew in at 11 pm. You advertize that you are Fairfield Inn at Dulles, while the hotel is about 7-10 miles from the airport. In addition, there are three Fairfield Inns in that area, which made confusion for me which one I had booked (some weeks in advance).

The hotel is located in a great area, close to restaurants and the airport in Washington DC. The breakfast was excellent, room was clean and fragrant, no complaints about this hotel. Price was amazing. Would stay here again!

Quiet little area. Not a bad area to stay in if you don't want to stay in DC and are flying out Dulles. Staff were friendly and quick to look at issues.

Easy to get to. Near the airport and Washington DC is about 30 min drive. Plenty of places to go eat. Breakfast at location was good

The staff was excellent at this hotel for the couple days I was there for a wedding. There was no issue parking and didn't hear the airplanes go over the hotel. Also, there are restaurants near the hotel, which was easier to have dinner at after driving through the traffic.

Very comfortable bed provides for a restful stay. Area generally quiet. Disappointingly the pool was closed. Several restaurants, cafes & grocery stores within walking distance. The complimentary hot breakfast finishes at nine, which may be far too early for travelers coming from different time zones. Why not extend breakfast until 9:30 or 10?
