A disappointment. Old rooms. Old equipment at the gym, where half of it was broken. Super expenwive.

Toothpaste in the sink was kinda gross with dried up streams of something running down the front of the sink. Appreciate the lighted makeup mirror. Bedding was nice, room was quiet, valet was very engaging and fast. I expected a little better for the price, but our stay was nice, location felt safe. The hills were great exercise. We loved the moon checkout time.

The building is beautiful and very well located, but unfortunately the hotel itself feels quite dated and in need of renovation. The rooms in particular look tired: paint is peeling off in places, the windows are heavily stained with mineral deposits and are difficult to see through properly, and there is no coffee machine in the room. Overall, the hotel feels rather old-fashioned and somewhat stuck in the past. The breakfast buffet was also quite disappointing, with poor-quality frozen pastries and virtually no vegan options (for example, no vegan sausages or similar alternatives). Another downside is that room service is not available after around 10:00–10:30 pm, which is quite restrictive for a hotel of this standard. Beautiful building and great location, but the overall experience does not match what you would expect from an IHG property at this level.

Very basic hotel, lost its glory days. Rooms are very spacious but dated, need renovation urgently.

Great hotel in Nob Hill. Loved that the area was so walkable, close to Chinatown and restaurants.
