Ocean Inn

The motel is well located near ocean beach and the muni stops right outside. However the noise from the muni is very intrusive and it runs late and starts early. The accommodation itself is very dated. The room was large and clean but sparsely furnished. The hook on the bathroom door was broken. The outside windows could also have done with a good cleaning. You can also hear noise from other rooms, showers, toilets flushing and people arguing !

Friendly staff, helpful, understanding, parking is nice and hidden in the back, very close and walking distance to ocean, room(s) was clean and and didn’t smell, wish they had a better fan system as they only have a small portable fan on the desk, aside from that, it’s very nice.

Need more parking space. Rooms are spacious but too cool.

Be forewarned this hotel is loud, our room was directly above the bar and the music didn't stop until 2am. Parking is hard, if the lot is full (the lot is tiny). We circled the block several times and ended up in a sketchy spot. This is definitely not an ideal hotel for families but it works as a dive motel and somewhere to lay your head down at the end of the night.
