The hotel didn’t have WiFi and hadn’t for over 2 weeks

Hotel was in older condition but clean. Pool was warm. Hot tub not hot. Breakfast was ok. Few hot items (premade omlettes, biscuit and gravy) but a variety of grab and go items (hard boiled eggs, yogurt, granola, oranges). Location was good. Good price for what it provides.

Breakfast was good. The breakfast staff ladies were so awesome and just made my day every morning! Bed was comfortable. My only issues were that the heating element in the hot tub was out and that was something I was very much looking forward to. And every so often someone would smoke outside and the smell would come through the A/C vent. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

Not a bad hotel if you don’t need WiFi. When on a business trip I need WiFi for working. When I called the desk and asked about the WiFi they gave me a 1-888 number to call. I called and waited in the queue for an hour. When someone finally answered they spent 30 min trying to get it to work and couldn’t. Definitely will be using a different hotel next time.

I’m traveling the country with my young daughters “Roadschooling”. The last month we’ve been from New Mexico to Louisiana and everywhere in between. I specifically booked this place for the indoor heated pool and hot tub for them to finally swim before heading home for the holidays. Upon check in I asked about the functionality of the pool and was pleased to hear it was in perfect working order. When we entered the pool area a woman in the pool asked if we were hotel guests I told her yes, she then told me she was going to be on one side of the pool (giving swim lessons) I was upset being that this was literally the only reason we booked here. My daughters are not great swimmers and we’re told to stay on the deep end. I went to the front desk and let them know, i basically told she didn’t see the problem and they’ve never had complaints before and literally that was that. I called best western to address my issue, not looking for compensation or refund but just to make them aware. We went up to the room after 15 mins and 6 other children arriving for lessons only to be called to the room phone from the general manager yelling at me for her points being deducted and bad review I tried to explain that I was not happy, she would not let me speak she kept talking over me and was the most passive aggressive woman I’ve ever come in contact with. She 100 percent needs to be fired. And should not ever be able to work in the customer service industry again. I will never stay again.

Unfortunately the WI FI has been out all week but we weren’t told at check in. The hot tub was ice cold. While clean, the hallway smells like cat urine.

The internet did not work and we had work to do. If I would have known that, I would have picked somewhere else to stay.

We booked a room in December because they had an indoor pool and hot tub. Unfortunately the hot tub was down and weren’t informed about that. If we would have known, we would have stayed somewhere else.

Me and my wife traveled to Waco cause she had a surgery planned at hilcrest at around 11am we didn’t wanna have to get up and drive in wanted to be able to sleep in and at 7 am we was awoken up to beating and banging coming from the roof I called the front desk to make sure they wasn’t being robbed but it was actually a construction crew putting a new roof on so they failed to mention this at check in and put us on the very top floor closet to the roof I asked for a refund went on deaf ears won’t be staying here again and we frequently come to Waco and rent hotels here the staff could’ve told me at check in and I would’ve made different arrangements if I pay money for a hotel room I deserve my privacy and relaxation till check out time I paid for it and didn’t receive it so best western you suck

Ok for price but on 2nd night saw a roach and wall had water damage in restroom

ROACHES. The bathroom tiles and walls were cracked/missing pieces, and there was a huge roach in the bathroom. The room was so humid everything felt wet, It was a weird and nasty experience.

Looks like our room flooded, there was mold everywhere and had a terrible smell. Almost all the carpet was ripped up on the 2nd floor, horrible experience! I'm just glad it was only 2 nights.

We only had 1 large towel in the bathroom for 2 people, tub was dirty and the carpet seemed wet....definitely not worth the money

Nice place to stay for the night for the price. Everything was clean. The bathroom was a little tired and ready for a makeover.

The hotel was very clean. The room was immaculate and the staff were so sweet and kind.

Woke up and the whole room was full full full of ants!!!!!!!! Every where

The room was filthy, I finally found a chain that make motel6 look good.Can tell most of their business comes from construction crews staying there. The bathroom was filthy and needed to be cleaned, the common area was worse.Came time to go to bed and pulled the sheets back and they had blood on them, so they had not been cleaned

There were a fly and a few fruit flies flying around. I didn't notify your staff because we only stayed one night and we weren't in the room for most of the time. And there was a order coming from the AC.

Don’t stay. Room smelled like urine and beds old and very uncomfortable.

Bed was very comfortable and room was a good size. Excellent value for the price. Was able to park right outside the window of our room. Very quiet. Water pressure and temperature in the shower was awesome. Was not too far from all the places we wanted to visit, but upon returning to the hotel, we had to go past it to the next stoplight and turn around every time because it’s on the other side of the highway. Didn’t partake of the breakfast offered. Would stay again.

Afternoon/night staff was exceptional in service and personality. Room was clean and well appointed. Problem, even with manager's personal trial, the TV wouldn't work. The in-room phone also didn't work. Table lamp connection loose, so the light flickered some. AC/heater until worked brilliantly. Comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious. Great Texas shaped waffles! At check out, the manager couldn't access the computer system, so we got no check-out receipt, nor could/would she offer us a discount for the non-working TV. Property has EV charging slots, if you're into that.

Aside from needing asthetic upgrades, it was nice and clean. Amazing water pressure!

My room was clean, other than a red stain on the carpet. I dislike carpet in hotel rooms. It is unsanitary, in my opinion. There was no phone in my room. Kids were running back and forth in the hallway at 11:30 pm one night. I called on my cell phone and complained. Breakfast was minimal with no bacon or sausage offered. Eggs were barely warm at 9:30 am on a Saturday. Staff rushed to clean the breakfast area 30 minutes earlier than the stated end time. I was told not to sit in an area because the staff had already cleaned those tables. This made no sense. Was I supposed to sit at a table that had not been cleaned? Apparently, the staff did not want to walk 10’ farther to a different area to clean a table. The AC worked well. Water was sufficiently hot. Towels were thin. Lighting in the bathroom was dim. The bed was OK other than a rather hard edge at the sides. The surrounding area seemed safe.

Our room was clean but the bathroom certainly needed updating. The bathtub needed to be replaced although it was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great as long as you kept it set on 67.

Staff was great, but the hotel is really showing signs of needing to be updated. The shower head would not stay up and in place, the coffee pot would not work, and the refrigerator was noisy all night long.

I was greeted with warm Southern Hospitality by LaQuita who let me check in early. She wished me well on the tests I was studying for and I passed both tests. Thanks to everyone at this hotel, especially LaQuita! Well done

What i didn't like was not having my room cleaned not even once. When I requested to have my room cleaned I was told that they only had one house keeper for the whole property. So the room was never freshened up. I checked out a day earlier. Naa won't be staying there again.

Our stay was wonderful. Amadeus was superb. Very friendly, polite, and curteous.

We came in at 11pm so I'm not sure if this just the night staff or the actual rules but they didn't accept cash as the incidental. I tried using my friends credit card and they wouldn't take it either because she had a decorative card sticker on it and they wouldn't charge it without seeing the name and numbers. We showed pictures of her card presticker and they still wouldn't take it. It felt like they were making us jump through a thousand hoops when we were exhausted from our trip. The staff felt very rude and like they didn't care. We tried asking for a refund because it says on the listing that they accepted cash and they refused to refund. Overall just a huge headache and a waste of $105.

Staff were very friendly and helpful

We were tired when we arrived and ready for our room but there was no one at the front desk. We waited... and then had to call to get someone to the front. They were covered in tattoos and didn't realize they were the receptionist. Mid-September and there were cheesy walmart halloween decorations scattered around. It looked terrible. The next morning, the lobby, dining, and 1st floor area were loud. Mostly from the obnoxious cackle laughter of the front receptionist cutting up with others. It was only 7:30a and there wasn't much breakfast left. At least we didn't hear anyone other patrons in our room with the loud AC unit that blew on our bed all night.

Bed was very comfortable and room was a good size. Excellent value for the price. Was able to park right outside the window of our room. Very quiet. Location was great to Baylor without being in all the traffic. it looks like recently there was a flood on the 3rd floor and they were remodeling it. It’s basic- a lot of blue collar workers stay during the week. We won’t stay again because there seemed to be better choices around.

Great location off the main roads

Easy to get to. Wish there was more parking closer to the door, it’s hard to wrangle 2 kids with everything when on the side of the building. But we will be back!

It took 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk at check in. I killed a cockroach in the room. The breakfast wasn’t edible and took a while to come out.

Terrible breakfast. All juices and milk were terrible. Oranges had mold. I called in day before on status of hot tub and was told it was in working condition. It was not working. Will not stay there again and I do not recommend it.

Hotel renovations will be really nice. The breakfast was very subpar. No fruit, no oatmeal, and the eggs looked pitiful. You can do much better.

Clean and comfy. Super friendly and helpful front desk ladies.My only complaint is they were shutting down the breakfast ten mins earlier than listed and we rushed to get down stairs for it!

The stay was great and relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and had great variety. Everything was clean and comfortable except our ac never got very cold so the room was warmer than we liked but overall a great trip.
