We chose this hotel because of the pool, hot tub, fitness room, and free breakfast. Upon checking in, we were told the pool and hot tub area were CLOSED due to no A/C. We were VERY bummed. It doesn't seem like this was a new issue either. I feel like there was some false advertising -- don't advertise you have a pool and hot tub if you aren't going to have them open.

Great room and service but be warned the indoor pool which is the reason why we came to swim inside, the chlorine was too strong and was unable to breathe in the pool area without coughing from the smell. Hopefully they will adjust it

I thought the room and staff were great. I thought about taking away a star for the breakfast but ultimately decided against it. They didn’t have any pancake or waffle options which was a disappointment. There also wasn’t any oatmeal. However, there were a bunch of topping out for an oatmeal bar or even to put on pancakes or waffles but they didn’t have any of that. The bacon was cooked perfectly so that made up for a lot. Also, the hot tub didn’t work so that was also disappointing.

This was a little trip for my daughters birthday. The whole reason we even stayed in a hotel was the indoor pool, which you had. But the chlorine was unbearable. It immediately started to affect our eyes, but we tried to tough it out. But after about 15 minutes, it started to affect our breathing. We could feel it in our lungs. It made to entire trip pointless.

Hotel clean and everyone was very nice. Only thing was the fragrance smell was very heavy in room. When you are senestive to smells its uncomfortable to handle. I had to sleep with a neck fan that I had brought and covers over my head.

The place location was perfect for our purpose in town. Staff were super nice! The staff at check-in made us feel valued customers. Breakfast was like other hotels we've been for this trip and more than enough to start our day. Rooms were spacious being a suite room and fairly clean. Coffee and iced water were always available in the dining area. We'll stay again in the future.

Everything was clean and the employees were nice, but this is an older and outdated property. We had a hard time sleeping because the air made a squeaky noise all night. The bed’s mattress was comfortable, but you might want to bring a pillow because the hotel’s were very flat and the blankets were thin (more like just a coverlet).

Rooms are large and service is decent. Beyond that, the hotel leaves much to be desired. We were placed by the stairs. This is not normally an issue, but in these rooms, the noise is unbelievable. Further, the internet is not "free". Rather, you have to enroll for a "loyalty" account. Then you are asked if you want "normal" (i.e. painfully slow) internet or rather a paid speed at $5.99/day. I chose free wi-fi and wasn't able to get more than a few mbps. I was not able to do anything the evening of my stay and while it improved the next day, it was still noticeably slow. Finally, the breakfast is TERRIBLE! The sausage biscuits are something my dog would not eat. I had to wait 15 minutes to find someone who could get me syrup for my waffle. Coffee had a burnt flavor. I won't be staying at this hotel again. There are just too many other decent offerings in Waco area.

Very nice hotel! The indoor pool and hot tub were well maintained and had plenty of towels. The gym was 24 hours which is convenient. A quiet room with a door that separated the beds from the living area was an extra bonus. The black out curtains and nice mattresses made for a very confortable sleep. The staff was friendly and the cocktails at the hotel bar were well made. The complimentary breakfast was nice and had a good variety. Only detractors would be that the microwave could have been cleaner. It hadn't been cleaned from previous stays and the fridge was left on the 'off' setting so it had a smell of parmesan cheese to it. The fact that you need an app to access the wifi and the wifi hook up itself was another difficulty. However, overall it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. A great value for the price and I would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Room was ok. As advertised. Main issue with our stay appeared to be a lack of staffing to service guests. When we arrived at the property there were three guests waiting for help at the front desk. One issue, no desk attendant. Bartender came by to let us know they were shorthanded and it would be a bit. We waited fifteen minutes before an individual came to the desk. After checking into the room a couple issues. 1. 1 of the 2 Bathroom lights flickering 2. Safe had low battery and would not function. I put in a call to front desk and was told they do not have 24 hr maintenance person on staff and it would be addresses the next day. I was hoping to store a personal in the safe away to keep it away from my children. The issues were addressed the next day as promised but I would note the light bulb was as replaced with a different colored bulb. That kind of sums up the whole visit. Potential great property with great amenities in a great location but a lack of TLC, maintenance, staffing and care or attentions to detail keeps it from being great. And merely okay. Elevator button wall plates, light switches and other small things were broken in such a newer property. Elevator making a noises and the call button appeared to be stuck as it kept dialing each time the elevator was used.

Did not get the room I booked. Was not told prior. Staff was rude and unapologetic. Was lied to about speaking to a manager. Was told he was in calls the few times I called. Then was told he never came in. Pull out couch was a twin on floor that when you laid on it you felt every spring and the floor under. Woke up with bug bites. There were barely any outlets. I booked a hotel for 5 people and recieved a room with 1 bed and 1 pull out couch that was actually just a twin bed that rolled out. And as stated above very uncomfortable. So unprofessional and rude. We had stayed here a few years ago and enjoyed, I would never go back or recommend.

The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. The hotel was sold out but rooms very quiet and air conditioning worked well. Only negatives were that there was a strange smell in the living area of our room (smelled like stale lawn clippings) and we never had maid service for the 3 days of our stay.

This is our third spring break with our kids at this hotel. They love the indoor pool and hot tub. The hotel is very clean, and staff is very friendly. Very close to the silos where our kids love to hangout.

Overall the stay was good. The hotel is nice and the rooms spacious. The only downfall was location as it wasn’t really around anything, but the drive wasn’t bad. Also housekeeping was knocking at our door at 9am asking when we were checking out (check out was at 12). we felt rushed.

The air conditioning system in the room was fantastic. Very quiet and calibrated to function accurately. The pool and jacuzzi temp were perfect, however suggest stronger jets in the hot tub. Both days there were no fresh towels. Enjoyed the convenience of having a nice bar n the hotel. The only negative experiences were: the rooms were not ready until 4pm. The breakfast in the morning was so terrible we did not eat. The offerings were very minimal and the sausage and eggs seemed artificial or synthetic. Took a couple bites of both then threw the rest in the trash. Recommend increasing the amount of hot selections with something that surpasses the quality of army rations.

This is a great property that we stay at every Christmas. The rooms are great, but the breakfast was so disappointing. Felt like we got the leftovers from the day before and things were not refilled and maintained. Out of coffee and very few bread options, the brown sugar was like concrete, and of course powered eggs. I hope it was an anomaly, but we will look at other options next time.
