This was mostly good. Just a few things would make it great. First the good. This is right on the beach, has a lovely pool, grill, and outdoor area. The rooms, while old, have been recently renovated and were very clean. The bed was comfortable. These are set up with 2 rooms in one building, so you only have one immediate neighbor. There were 2 TVs in my unit, and the living room was seperate from the bedroom. I was there when there were very few people, so it as very quiet. These were the things that could be improved: The driveway to the parking area was incredibly tight. I had no more than 1-2 inches of clearance for the mirrors of my SUV. There wasn't much room to park or turnaround too. The bathroom is very small and the sink and handles for the shower were old. While they were cute, they didn't work too well, and they were difficult to turn off and not drip. Other than the back of the toilet, there were no flat surfaces for your toothbrush, cosmetics, etc. The wifi was weak and so unsecure that my tablet would not connect to it, even with a VPN. I realize these seem petty, but they did impact my stay.

We had an awesome time. Beach access was in credible. Staff was excellent. Tv didn't work and parking is a bit tricky and annoying. Plenty of convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance.

We really liked Beach Haven. It was old school, small but cozy. The ladies in the office were both very helpful. Location is wonderful-walking distance to the beach. Plenty of places to eat at. The worse part about the stay was the parking situation. There aren't enough spots for the guests.

This place is a little gem. rooms have been completely remodeled. we had our a/c go out in the middle of the night which I believe was the last one they were replacing but had us in a brand new room in minutes. right on the beach,ping pong table,hammock,pool and grill! service was great and their maintenance man is fantastic!

This little gem hidden away on St Pete beach was a complete surprise. It’s nice that you can walk out the door and either jump in the beautiful pool or take a short walk to the private beach that isn’t overly crowded with people. The rooms are all updated and very clean. There is a kitchen in the room and a large refrigerator so bring your groceries and you won’t have to leave. The one negative is that the pop machine doesn’t work not a big deal at all. We will be going back many times hopefully.

We thoroughly enjoyed our nice, relaxing stay at Beach Haven! The newly renovated rooms were clean & had all the essentials. The property is right on the beach, is beautifully landscaped, and had all the amenities necessary to provide that home-away-from-home feeling. The staff were very helpful & accommodating. The location is perfect- we walked to dinner along the beach. We will definitely return to Beach Haven. All you need are your swimsuit & flip flops… Enjoy! ☀️

Overall, the property was nice and it was convenient. The rooms had been recently updated however, not the bathrooms. They were small and the shower was the old tile and it was dirty. Also, there were some hairs left from the previous occupant that were not cleaned from the basin. The bed was OK but the pillows were like cement squares. The biggest problem was the AC. You could not tell what the temperature actually was, but if I were to guess it never got below 80° in our room. Since it was not actually an emergency, we decided to wait until morning to discuss with the representative on staff and they were quick to point out that we were using it wrong although we followed the instructions on the check-in paperwork. They were allowed to waive the resort fee because of our discomfort. It was a pleasant stay because it met our needs, and it was a quiet place on the beach. One thing to note their checkout time is 10 AM so if you do book through a third-party verify with them what time your checkout will be because on this site, it states 11 AM.

Bed was comfy! The little pink compound is shady at night, code and room number were taped on the office door for anyone to see. Shower pressure is not good. We had a blast and the pool was nice. Beach is super close and clean. 2 rooms are tiny as is the bathroom. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

This property is beautiful and lowkey. Has great sized rooms right on the beach with a pool for a great price. The check in and out were seamless. They had dishes in the room you could use, also a fridge and microwave. The only con was they did not have their smart TVs set up and the remotes weren't working well and the wifi wasn't working for us. However when you are in this beautiful, vibrant area you don't have much time for TV anyway!

I loved the hotel! It had an air bnb feel to it. A separate bedroom from the kitchen/living area. It was about the regular size of a hotel, but it was nice to have the bedroom separate from the living area. The staff were amazing! The hotel is right on the beach. You can’t beat the price.

The website (and the hotels.com link) do not say that check in is from 4-5 only! Actually, I was told this morning that the office closes at 4:30 And they leave check-in info on the door — also new information. We had to find another place to stay!

I added a day to my reservation by calling Beach Haven directly back in February. They waited until May to let me know that they cancelled the extra day, which caused me to have to stay at another hotel for my first night. They allowed my to check in early the next day, but it was into the smaller room and my reservation was for the larger one with the kitchenette. The larger room I paid for wasn't available until the next day, so their poor booking policies made me have to move twice. They refunded the resort fee to correct this, but my vacation was already half over by the time I was able to stay in the room that I paid for months ago. I was planning on being able to cook some of my own food for my family using the kitchenette and the larger fridge to store it, but I wasn't able to and wound up spending a lot more money on take-out.

Rooms are clean well kept. Staff is friendly, exceptional. Owner checks In. He’s pleasant to talk to. Will to meet your needs, wants what best for consumer. It’s a wonder quaint place to stay! Heated pool is comfortable for all day swimming with view of beach. Beach isn’t crowded.

Overall, the property was nice and it was convenient. The rooms had been recently updated however, not the bathrooms. They were small and the shower was the old tile and it was dirty. Also, there were some hairs left from the previous occupant that were not cleaned from the basin. The bed was OK but the pillows were like cement squares. The biggest problem was the AC. You could not tell what the temperature actually was, but if I were to guess it never got below 80° in our room. Since it was not actually an emergency, we decided to wait until morning to discuss with the representative on staff and they were quick to point out that we were using it wrong although we followed the instructions on the check-in paperwork. They were allowed to waive the resort fee because of our discomfort. It was a pleasant stay because it met our needs, and it was a quiet place on the beach. One thing to note their checkout time is 10 AM so if you do book through a third-party verify with them what time your checkout will be because on this site, it states 11 AM.

When you book a hotel online or a resort, you really have know what’s going to get . My wife and my flight got in late at about 9 o’clock and we got to hotel at about 10. The hotel had all of my information for my room. Take to the office door very convenient door to get into the room at 10 PM at night. The rooms were extremely clean. The resort was well laid out and put together in the beach was wonderful. We have already talked about booking our next visit to this hotel when we stay in Tampa or Saint Pete. They had a great area for grilling a great area for sitting poolside and a great area for sitting by the beach.

This place is perfect- I met wonderful people who have stayed there for years. The people were great and the surrounding area was beautiful. The staff was so accommodating I was able to park my car and get to the beach early. One of the staff does picnics on the beach she was so incredibly sweet. I can’t think of a better place to stay I parked the car and walked to everything Publix restaurants an incredible gyro place nearby- I loved it!!!!

Wonderful old Florida style property. Very clean with updated room. Used local transportation, Sunrunner, to downtown and the Freebie shuttle on the beach. Great restaurants within walking distance

Location, location, location! Cute little cottage-motel that’s hidden amongst the big condo buildings. The rooms are newly renovated and the ease to get to the beach and pool are incredible. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at The Beach Haven Resort!! Loved how small and quaint it was compared to the high rise condos. We loved the ease of walking to the beach, restaurants and beach bars. Pool was great to cool off in as well. We had the one bedroom, studio room....although small, it fit our needs perfectly; we were barely in the room. Definitely recommend this resort and would stay here again if back in St. Pete!!
