Nice parking close to the building made me feel safe. No dark corners. Not a lot of options directly surrounding the hotel. Need a car to get more than one or two food options.

Everything was good, but not great. We chose this hotel due to price and that it had a pool. Pool was not available until after memorial day. It was an outdoor pool, but they didn't quantify availability. So sad for grand kids.

i booked this room to be close to six flags and to swim it was fairly close to six flags but the swimming pool was closed. and that made me change my plans with my kids and take them somewhere else to do something fun and that cost me more money then i planned on spending. It would have been nice if the hotel discounted my room rates because it said swimming pool but it was closed

This hotel has just started a major renovation starting with the exterior. All the windows were covered with plastic so hence no view. We will look forward to the renovation being done but will stay away until then. We’ll stay @ Drury Inn next door until Theo.

Apparently this hotel is under renovation and transitioning to a Spark! Hilton. It definitely needs the refresh. Rooms are passable but not great. Outlets are in all the wrong places and inaccessible. No USB outlets. Lighting is poor. No fan in the bathroom. Towels are small and worn. The gym has a set of dumbbells up to 50lbs, a bench, a treadmill, and a non-functional Peloton bike. Only fits about three people, and even then it's tight. Breakfast was okay, though the two huge fruit bowls only had five apples between them and nothing else.

There was no lotion in the bathroom. We asked at the front desk and none was available. They also don't have any kind of a "market" for snacks or things you forget at home.

Check in was pleasant and they told us the room was ready. We went to the rooms, beds looked made so we started unpacking. Try to use the restroom, had not been cleaned. Chased down the housekeeper who came right in and cleaned the bathroom and she apologize for the desk letting us check in. When we went to go to bed, pulled the comforter back and had to clean off sheets as they were dirty. Also TV keep showing pixels like the signal was bad. We ended up just watching something on the IPad. I have stayed here a few times before with no issues, disappointed this time.

Seemed clean but smells old. Horrible putrid smell when we stepped of the elevator on the second floor. It was there in the morning as well, maybe the garbage needed to be emptied? The loudest clanking ac unit kept us up. We either had to deal with zero air or loud clanking blowing. Otherwise pretty standard hotel.

Only problems: somebody (presumably a previous guest) spilled a soda or some sticky liquid in front of the mini-fridge; there was still a sticky spot in the cabinet which I found while opening it. We also noticed a house centipede in the tub. Otherwise, very nice facility.

Easy access to freeways. Spacious rooms. Great staff to help during recent computer outages of hotels! They overcame not being able to print room key cards by having staff open electronic room locks.

As of March 27th, 2025, the hotel is being renovated. They gave me a room that was recently renovated. The A/C made lots of banging noise, there were no trashcans or phones in the room. And the TV cable was out in the room. Howevrr the bed was new and comfy.

The noise from interstate 44 at this hotel is unbelievable all night long. The truck sound like trains coming through there. It’s an OK hotel but the noise from the interstate is definitely a big problem for me.

The service was excellent. Check in was easy, with friendly service. The door lock on our room didn't work so we were given a different room right away. The room was clean and comfortable with comfy beds and bedding. The only negative was the water pressure in the shower could have been better but it wasn't that bad. Breakfast had a pretty decent selection. We did not use the pool so I have no idea how it was. Overall a very good stay. We woukd definitely stay again.

I've booked and paid for two bedrooms on Expedia, at the moment my wife arrived to the hotel, the hotel said to her that only one bedroom was reserved, even we paid for two, they told my wife that she could pay for another bedroom and calling Expedia for refund, she did that, then I called Expedia, they said they would call the property, later they sent me an email saying that the hotel policy refund is clear on no refunds, and Expedia claims that the mistake was at the hotel's side because they made two bedroom reservation as I could see on the invoice, and my wife also showed the invoice to the hotel, but the hotel insisted there was only one bedroom reservation by Expedia under our name.

i stayed at Hampton Inn Southwest St. Louis which is a less than 15 drive from 6 flags (-Eureka) St. Louis. I was traveling with several children who were eating constantly. Which we arrived the toilet wasn’t working but I told the front desk while we were at the park please fix toilet. We got back to the hotel it still wasn’t flushing. before we headed to the park the next day I again told front desk to fix the toilet. When we arrived back to hotel that night it still wasn’t flushing. By the next morning toilet was full of feces and still wouldn’t flush. By then I had asking them to fix it. we needed to use the toilet so we just went ahead and checked out earlier than we had planned. We all needed a working toilet

My children (9&6) and parents (70&69) and I enjoyed our stay here. The staff is/was exceptional. The breakfasts are winners! The pool felt great. It’s right off the highway so what else can i share? It’s affordable and overall 10s!

Needed a place to crash after concert in St. Louis. Room smelled like stale smoke but was very clean and well appointed…a room near us had a dog that was barking when we arrived at 12:30 am. Breakfast was delicious, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and peppers. Not over cooked and dried out like at many hotels we’ve stayed. They also had waffles, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt - the usual continental. Would stay again.
