The room was big and comfortable. Easy parking plenty of space, breakfast was hot and tasty. The people were knowledgeable about the area and friendly. Washer and dryer too.

Clean and comfortable for the price. This is an older hotel and could use some upgrades. Room refrigerator was rusty and small. Microwave was very small. Only ice machine in the whole hotel was broken.

Great location to entertainment/restaurants. Staff incredibly freindly and responsive to needs. Property needs some love and updating. Rooms smelled of mold/mildew. Roaches observed in room on last day there.

We checked out one day early as soon as we got up. Room smelled like urine so bad. Woke up covered in flea bites. Breakfast was below average. Only positive it is within walking distance of the Harbor. I do not recommend

We are 6 hours away from home. We went to dinner got back around 10 to get to bed and found a blood stain on the sheets. Hotel was very sorry but no manager on premises to assist us. Lady gave us another room for the night but we are still not to sure about the cleanliness of this hotel.

The outside of the place is ok- definitely dated. On the way up to my room I was nervous because the stairs and walkway were really dirty. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the room. The room itself seemed moderately updated and clean. But we ended up having issues with roaches. A roach or two wouldn't have bothered me too much because it's Florida- I get it, we are also Floridians and realize that sometimes they get in. But we killed 5 cockroaches in the bathroom over our two night stay. I won't be staying here again.

Floors so nasty feet bottoms were black just walking from bath to bed. Room needed a humidifier as all our cloth’s shoes felt damp during our whole stay. The fridge door had water dripping off of it & bathroom vent leaked water onto floor and toilet after any bath use. The air conditioner kept us cool but moist as I don’t think it was not humidifier working in it.

Our room was extremely dirty. I came with a 12 month old and could not let her on the floor. The floors (laminate) were covered in dirt and grime. Like sticky grime. I asked multiple times for someone to come in and mop or give me supplies to do it myself, and no one ever came. Yes I know it’s a motel, and you get what you pay for… but you could tell these floors had not been cleaned for months. The walls and ceiling had moisture dripping every morning. The beds, our clothes, everything stayed wet. You could smell the mold in the walls. The only convenient thing was being so close to the harbor walk and restaurants.

The price was good, but the place could really use an upgrade. Sheets and towels were thin. Strangely, the lights kept going off in the room. Not the power; TV and AC started on, thank goodness! But the wall light switches which controlled the lamps and bathroom kept going off.

The room is clean and nicely furnished. The king size bed has a dip in it, yet it was comfortable. The breakfast area has a variety of items. The pool is pretty and there is plenty of lounging. Next time I will ask for a first floor room. I cannot climb stairs very well.

Perfect for my needs for multiple fishing trips. Short walks to any boat, just had a collapsible cart for my gear and catches walking back and forth. Many affordable food options in walking distance as well. Only drawback was the bed. Not sure if the mattress was older, but I had back stiffness because it was too soft. Would like to have mid or full size refrigerator/freezers in the room. That's just the outdoorsman in me

Our stay was nice, room was mostly clean. The phone in room did not work. The only issue we had was people standing outside our room on a call on speaker that woke us up at 430am which is not the hotels fault. We woupd stay again.

The only reasons I didn't give a better rating are that even though there were plenty of the lights in the room they didn't light the room well. Also, the bathtub faucet was older. When you shower and change the faucet over for the water to come out of the showerhead it doesn't change over all the way so the pressure wasn't that great. Otherwise, great stay, especially for the price.

Had a hard time checking in..waited over 35 to get our room they said there was an issue with the system.. but it took 25-30min for a manager to arrive to fix the issue.. Woke up to a huge roach above my head on the celing, im assuming it came from the gaps under the door, none of the outlets or charging ports worked at the bedside table, the room smelled like cat urine.. would not recommend this place..

Front desk lady was super friendly checking in. Our reservation on our booking app was for a smoking room-as that was rhe only type available. However, upon check-in she switched us to a non-smoking room and thought that was really a nice thing to do. However, our light when you first walk in the room didn't work. Our toilet didn't flush, and the outlet by the beds the top socket didn't work. We did try and report all of these issues but it was around 1 AM so it's a possibility that front desk staff was busy. However, when we went to check out in the morning and tried to let front desk staff know, we were rudely cut short of telling him about the socket-he said "your all set." No notes written down or anything so not sure if it will even get worked on. Good things-within walking distance of lots of fun and cool things to do and comfortable bed. Breakfast also had really good biscuits and gravy and waffles! However, was very turned off by the lack of carelessness of front desk staff when reporting issues.

Motel that you park right in front. How easy it is to load & unload However & not the hotel itself but there's an after hours club open till 4AM that comes to life at 2AM adjacent to the property with cars parking in the motel lot & noisy traffic coming & going. Other than that, it was a good stay

This was all about location-location-location vs all-the-frills. We were able to walk to MacGuires, the Harbor (where parking is $20). Staff was friendly. Place was safe & quiet. I cannot comment on the pool or complimentary breakfast since we were constantly on the go. Highly recommend for the price point and location for a Destin stay.

Wonderful older updated hotel. Fit our needs very well. However, not the hotels fault but on the 300 side of the complex there's an after hours all night club adjacent to the property. Very Disturbing at 2/3 in the morning Otherwise, enjoy the stay

Comfortable beds, King Size had four pillows while most places only do three which is a big plus for me! The free breakfast offers a lot of options for anyone from hot items (had biscuits and gravy, sausages, & waffles) to cold items (cereal, muffins, etc) along with the usual drinks (coffee, OJ, etc).

Good for a cheap getaway. Across the street from AJs, walkabale to Harbor Village (Harry Ts etc). Continental breakfast is terrible - stale bagels and English muffins - didn’t even have those awful eggs. They need more ovo-vegetarian breakfast options other than bread. Loud guests and other guests leave their clothes on the railing to dry.
