Drury Inn & Suites St. Louis Forest Park

We absolutely loved our 2 night stay! From the pool to the buffets we had a blast. Facilities were very clean and staff was friendly. My daughter was offered a complimentary toothbrush and I asked for toothpaste due to my travel one running out on the stay. They were very accommodating. I prefer this location due to the clean and safe surroundings. This is now my go to place when I visit St. Louis. The restaurant attached was convenient and yummy and hope to try it again! I also loved the parking lot and covered garage. This may not seem important but to me I prefer it over valet parking so huge plus to me. Thank you for making this a great location! We greatly enjoyed our stay.

One elevator was broken. This hotel was run down it’s not up to the Drury standard that we are used to

Absolutely fabulous hotel. My go to place now for St. Louis. In evening it is 11 minutes to America's Center convention area. 11 minutes with little traffic up Hwy 44 . Breakfast with biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles and others. 5:30pm Evening meals vary and taste good . Pasta with fettuccine sauce and chicken. Next night chili with dogs or shredded pork. Next night mashed potatoes with meatballs. Each night has vegetables and salads usually. Free alcoholic drink cards. Unlimited coffee and soft drinks all day long and popcorn in the afternoon. Nice beds with spacious rooms. Marble in bathroom with plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in dispensors. 4 drawers for clothes. Side chair with small table and reading lamp. A desk and office chair. Plenty of outlets. The phone didn't work in our room but had a contact number on it that led to front desk. Plenty of cable channels (no premium). Coffee maker uses flat packets provided. Security on premises at night in parking lot. A goodly portion of lot allocated for restaurant but we never had trouble finding a place. Underground addition parking that feels safe, but I didnt like that no entry card needed to go in or out except at walkin entry door. Indoor pool, Fitness area, and washers and dryers in lowest level. Fancy Italian restaurant on premises. Hardee's, Wendy's, and an Urgent Care facility across the street. 10 out of 10.

We loved the dinner and breakfast buffet was a nice surprise. the beautiful hot tub in the pool area indoor outdoor pool was a big plus.

Clean hotel conveniently off the freeway. Bit of a five way intersection to get to hotel, but very clearly in view as to where to go. Above ground uncovered parking as well as garage parking under the building. If you park in the garage parking, there is no elevator-only stairs to walk up to the lobby. Bring your bags in first and then park below. Nice complimentary popcorn, dinner and soft drinks and cash bar until 7pm. Some fast food restaurants walkable but you have to traverse the busy intersection to get to any of them. Did not notice any guest or street noise from our room.

Pool hot tub area was not kept clean.

Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Rooms were very clean. Meals were great. Complementary drinks are a bonus! We loved everything about this hotel, except for the fact that the hot tub was really dirty. Yes, hot tubs are dirty, but the water was actually brown.

Overall, this place is worth my money. They have hot breakfast, 3 drinks at the bar, sodas and light food at night(pasta w/ grilled chicken, chips and queso, baked potato, pulled pork, hotdog in a bun, fruits and salad). Nice pool from the inside half to the outside half of the pool. So cool! I couldn’t give a 5 rating coz our bedsheet has a small bloody spot and one the staff at the bar was on his headphone and it makes him not giving attentions to the guests. Will definitely stay again.

The staff were pleasant enough, but the rooms smelled of dog urine terribly. They did change our room, but the smell was still there, just lighter in the 2nd room. It's one of those type of smells you just can't get out of your head. The lobby and dining area was clean and large. The bed was nice as we like firm beds. The area seems unsafe around the hotel, people hanging out across the street behind a building shouting at each other and appeared to be drinking and intoxicated. Luckily, we didn't have any issues, but did park under a light that said there were cameras. Overall, we did not like the area.

We appreciated the style, decor and overall cleanliness of the hotel and our room. We would've liked better pillows and more of them for each bed. More channels on the tv would've been nice. Our sink had some hair in it and the bed had a long black hair that did not belong to us on top of the comforter when we arrived.

The entire hotel was extremely clean. The lobby and eating areas were clean, even when there were a lot of people in these areas, someone was always wiping something up.

There was someone’s hair in the shower-the bathroom was not real clean

Great hotel overall. My first room had windows facing a patio, so without closed curtains, people could see inside. I asked to change rooms and the staff gladly helped—very accommodating. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff is excellent. Breakfast is American-style (biscuits, sausages, quite heavy), not very healthy. The lobby happy hour is fantastic with drinks and snacks. I’ll definitely be back.

The only issue we had was that our room phone was not working and was not looked at even after reporting it. Staff was very pleasant, breakfast was good, but predictable.

Staff is super friendly. Rooms are large and comfortable. Parking somewhat difficult. Lots of tired children at the hotel during pur stay.

We needed a place to stay in a central location to downtown and the Forest Park areas. We were really happy with the location of the Drury Inn. A big seller for us was to have the pool open and the kids really enjoyed the indoor/outdoor swim. I was also very surprised to see a functioning hotel hot tub, but this was a nice bonus. The room itself was clean and tidy. A little on the small size, but it was everything that we needed for our overnight stay. Free breakfast was a banger! Had everything that we needed to get everyone filled up for the morning. Would stay again.

The place is in good repair. The materials are a bit ostentatious. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. All was very clean. The breakfast included was above average in quality and selection. The neighborhood could be better, as evidenced by the fence surrounding the parking lot, complete with signs every 20 feet or so declaring video coverage (I didn't see any cameras); regardless, we had no trouble. The expressway is close by and could be heard inside our room. The HVAC was noisy, but we simply shut it off.

I didn't like that our suite was only air conditioned in the bedroom, leaving the front room area very warm.

Stay was good. No problems. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked great.The tv channels were good. All in all the stay was great

The Drury was a great place for our extended family to gather for a big birthday, using the lobby for visiting and the dining area for breakfasts. It is a quick drive to Forest Park and its features. Our suite was a bit noisy on the highway side, but the bed was comfortable.

Great hotel with great amenities. Location was great! Loved the nightly happy hour offered. My one gripe was that the internet was down one of our three night stays. This also affected the TV connection. After calling the front desk I was transferred on hold to IT until the call timed out and hung up. Other thank this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very friendly & helpful! The breakfast each morning was very good. The rooms were clean & nice. Happy Hour each evening had good drinks & food. The location of the hotel was 10 minutes or less from the attractions we visited. Overall great stay!

Everything was great! Plus, when we inadvertently left something behind, we called and they immediately offered to go the extra mile and ship it to us!

It had been a while since I had stayed at a Drury so I had forgotten just how great they are. Free fountain soda all evening long, pretty good breakfast and dinner all included with the room makes it a great value!!! Room was nice and clean! They are blessed with a top notch employee at this location. I assume he is a manager of some kind but he was there when we checked in, was still there through dinner and was there at breakfast the next morning, he just really knew what he was doing and was great with every customer I seen him interact with.

My stay was great, however there was no one at the front desk when I came to check in. I had to be let in by another guest. Then I had to track someone down just to be able to check in. That was the only downfall to my stay. Everything else was perfect.

We had the best customer service when we checked in!!

One of the staff was rude to another guest, when he asked about if something that breakfast had gluten in it because he was allergic to it.

Room was nice. Conveniently located for visiting the zoo and downtown. They offered a complementary evening buffet that was good for a lite evening dinner. I would stay here again.

This is where I usually stay in STL, because it's always great. Being close to The Hill and its great restaurants is nice too.

Breakfast was better than most hotels. Offered cooked, hot items. The area around the hotel didn’t feel the safest, but all staff we encountered was friendly!

We had a wonderful time staying here, close to the zoo, science center, ikea, and botanical gardens. My daughter and I wanted a quick mini vacation, and we found it here. I was looking forward to the kickback but was a little disappointed in the selection. We’ve stayed at other Drury hotels many times and have always been able to find something to eat. My daughter is dairy free, and I am vegetarian. The kickbacks always have enough selection, but the tacos didn’t give us enough to eat. There was no salad other than the lettuce for tacos, and only chips and cheese as an alternative. It was disappointing. The room was very nice and clean.

Breakfast could have been good if the sausage hadn’t been warmed up frozen patties, the eggs powdered, and the gravy completely devoid of sausage and flavor

I was very impress with the evening drinks and food that was included. The breakfast was much better and more choices than other hotels I've stayed in while traveling.

The hotel and room were clean and comfortable. The evening reception was a nice bonus with food and drinks provided. Food was just ok. The eating area was nicely arranged. Breakfast had many choices including scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, potatoes. Unfortunately all hot food items were just warm. Overall good value.

Overall a decent stay, but a few things that made me wonder about choosing a different place next year for our annual visit to The Hill. We have stayed here before. The best things: The workers in the dining area where breakfast and snack/drinks are served were phenomenally friendly & attentive, even with all of the chaos going on! The room is well-appointed with mini-fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker, and clean. Proximity very close to where we want to be for the annual Italian heritage weekend. Issues: Requested a blanket the first night, was told it would arrive within 30 minutes. After over 30 minutes, called back, and a different person who was handling customer service was a little bit cranky sounding as he relayed that he had no idea when it might arrive, and that we could come down to get it. As we were exhausted & already in pajamas, I declined, said we would deal with it, and that I hoped it might arrive for the 2nd night of our stay. It never arrived. Also, mental note that the breakfast, snack/drink amenity needs to be remembered like being at a cruise ship buffet, but with less buffers for shrill children screams. It's quite chaotic. The food is ok. My hubby did say that if we were staying much longer, he would want to venture out for something else-- but having spent a little more than maybe necessary for these amenities, well- I'd rather not. So, not horrible, but not my favorite experience.

Great location, not too far from downtown St. Louis attractions. The free parking is nice, when a lot of other hotels charge for parking. The breakfast buffet had so many options and also loved the free evening snacks and popcorn. It would be nice if they can offer more vegetarian options for the evening snacks, since that was limited and we are vegetarian. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!
