Can't sleep well without air conditioning in 86 degrees summer. not enough parking .

The Inn was in the heart of Chinatown and offers free parking which was a bonus. So great dining options are close by via a short walk and there's no need to drive in the terrible SF transport. Though the Inn is a little dated, but it's really clean which is more important. The view from the 5th floor towards the Oakland Bay Bridge is pretty at night. =) However, there was a small incident that irked me. My car was shifted to the basement garage (which doubles as public parking) when the ground level's parking gets filled up. I paid for a late check-out for my room at 1pm, but when I went to collect my car in the basement garage, the valet said that I had to pay $20 for a daily parking rate because their "free" parking ends at 11am along with my room's original check-out timing. Even when I explained that I had paid for a late check-out, he mentioned that their policy was strictly 11am. Imagine how frustrated I was that I had to pay extra just because my car was chosen out of so many cars to be parked below. Thankfully, we brought up this matter to the Manager of the Inn and he got us out of it without the need for us to pay extra! This was good customer service that made us want to come back to them again. Just remember to collect/shift your car before 11am on the check out day if it's in the garage!

Good centralized location in the city to walk to many restaurants. Parking was best feature with valets available to shuffle cars as needed. Car safety there was greatly appreciated. But rooms were just adequate and somewhat dated with some slight city noises. Price is mainly for parking, location and convenience.

One free parking spot is a major plus. No frills hotel and it could use some updating but has everything you need and you can’t beat the location. I would stay again.

The big plus is providing parking, very much appreciated. Even so it was a bit bumpy - we were roughly directed to the underground lot next door before we even registered. The room was great. The location also great - walking distance to Club Fugazi, North Beach, and the edge of Chinatown.

Definitely a 3 star place. It’s fine for what it is. It’s cheap, convenient parking, you can walk to anywhere, and I felt safe. My favorite part is the free parking and valet parking. Very convenient. The place itself is a little dirt and outdated but I’m a poor college kid so worked great for me. Definitely recommend it if you don’t care about where you stay

There's a kitschy vibe to this place that's expected at a seaside resort town instead of the middle of Chinatown in SF. That being said, the location is ideal, lots of food and nightlife options, easy access to mass transportation. The price for rooms (I did a Fri-Sun stay) i thought was fantstic compared to options nearby. The staff was helpful and accommodating. The place could use a coat of paint but otherwise, the only other thing I could complain about is the limited amount of parking spots.

Stayed in Room 305 and got bed bug bites, 5 nasty ones. They live in the wood furniture.

Good hotel with parking. Close to piers. Friendly staff. Pretty clean, carpet can use a deep cleaning or replacement as it felt a bit sticky but overall nice place to stay.

It's always very good when I get to stay at Royal Pacific Motor Inn. Rooms are very spacious, quiet (even a room which faces Broadway street, one of the main drags of Northbeach). Always very clean, very nice staff, only too happy to help you out with advice or directions about town. Central to everything in the city of San Francisco, easy to get about town. Really good value too!

Nothing fancy but clean, quiet, convenient and friendly. Great value in an expensive city. The free, secure parking sealed the deal. We would definitely stay here again.

My two children live in the Nob Hill/Chinatown area. The location is superb, and the staff tries to be very helpful, so I give them very high marks. However, the hotel rooms are 10/15 years overdue for renovation. The showers can be frightening, and the carpeting in the hallways and rooms is very badly stained. My wife would not even use the shower.

Great location between Chinatown and North Beach. Clean, well-maintained 60's era motel. Not shabby with a bit of retro vibe. Free parking a definite plus.

We enjoyed our stay here. This is the best kept secret in the city. So many places to eat within walking distance. The staff was super friendly. Room was clean.

Overall our stay was okay. I am a clean freak and always go over surfaces with disinfectant. The tv stand had a drink stain and you could see that the surface areas were not cleaned properly. The fridge had a dead cockroach, but we also didn’t have a need to use the fridge either so I didn’t really care for it. Bathroom was iffy too. After my inspection, beds sheets looked clean and no stains were found. We also used our own towels for our body and used hotel towels for drying hands. I did notice a stain on one of the towels. Also, during the night there was a drunk lady who was trying to get in our room which was scary at first, but after looking through the door hole we opened the curtain and told her she was at the wrong room and she left. We also notified the lobby and someone came to check up on us. Probably won’t stay here again or more than one night if I’m desperate. Overall if you don’t mind the little details this is a okay place. Our family would have liked for a better room experience, but we got what we paid for.

Place was as advertised. My room was clean and comfortable.

Everything was good except WIFI spotty in and out at times. It was hot in San Fran and these rooms have NO AC. Otherwise liked free parking and pretty good location.

It was in the best location. Uou can walk everywhere. So much good food around that area. There was loud construction going on outside my room so i asked them to move me in the back and they put me on the 5th floor. It was nicer and the room seemed more updated.

Everything was pretty good, just the internet was of very poor quality, particularly on the 3rd floor.

clean simple accommodations, easy checkin, lots of options for food, public transportation just steps away. wifi sometimes is inconsistent and unreliable

The location was great! Tons of places close and we walked all the time. The only thing is that rooms don’t have AC, but they do have a fan so that was okay.

Decent hotel. Rooms are quite loud due to the busy road outside. Rooms are very clean.

Always a great stay! Rooms are large, it’s an older Motor Inn yet impeccable clean. Busy Broadway street central to everything. Rooms are quiet.

The only problem for us was the noise. I think with double glass it could be solved.

We picked this hotel for its location between North Beach and China Town which was perfect for us. Room was fine but so in need of an update/refresh/refurb - anything! But overall good value for such a great location with free parking.

Great location for an economical stay in San Francisco that included parking. The bed was a bit firm which my back didn't like but I survived

One of the staff allowed us to use a room for a few hours while waiting to go back to the airport. This really helped us to get some rest for our long flight.

Really amazing staff and near dim sum shops

Great property and location, but there are issues with their valet parking service using designated disabled parking spots improperly. Also, in the evenings, to avoid having the television volume excessively high, I requested to use closed captions—but the staff were unable to override the hotel’s security settings to enable them.

This was my third time staying here. It would have been good but the lobby attendant accused my friend of vaping on the property only because he saw that she had a vape. She did not vape on the property but she felt so uncomfortable that she left immediately. I had to change all of my birthday plans because of the comment. She did not vape on the property at all but she felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed. Everybody else was nice , just not the short stalky bald guy.

LOUD MUSIC till 2-3 am on the street. No air conditioning, kind of dated hotel, my check in was not great but overall I will not go back.

The location is very convenient to restaurants, shops, and transportation

The property is in a great location. We like the fact that there's lots to do in walking distance. You can leave your car parked at the hotel with no additional cost. You can easily get an Uber/Lyft/Waymo.

The Royal Pacific Motor Inn is perfectly located between Chinatown and North Beach. We loved the room, the location, the quiet, and the free parking!

Perfect location in SF for people who want a location that they can walk to North Beach, China town, Exploratorium!

Everything was good. The location is great. Only thing that bothered me is that traffic never stops all through the night.

We LOVE this simple hotel for the location on the border of North Beach & China town. We park our car, and walk everywhere to restaurants, museums, Ferry Building. So easy & convenient & sweet staff!

The Royal Pacific is a clean, awesomely located place to stay. We walked all over, from Pier 39, the whole water front and back. We also walked from Chase Center back, 3 miles, and never felt like we were in any danger. Being in between Chinatown and North Beach was awesome. We had Chinese food one night and Italian food the next night. There is so much to see and do here. Bars galore!! I highly recommend getting a balcony room. People watching is the best!!

Location, location, location plus parking included and generally a fine accommodation made this place great!

The hotel is conviniently located between China Town and Little Italy. We chose it for it's convenient parking. The rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet for being in the mmiddle of the city. We faced the courtyard, not the street. Would recomend this for anyone who wants to explore the city and needs to stash their car. No luxury accommodation, but price vs service is right.

Great location, amazing staff, clean room. Had to take one star because my boyfriend and I both had sore backs after two nights, the beds were a little uncomfortable. Great room and location for the price. I'd still stay again.

This centrally located hotel shines in terms of cleanliness and dedicated staff. The friendly employees go above and beyond to assist guests. However, it falls short in amenities - there's no breakfast or coffee etc.. The private parking is a definite advantage. Overall, a good place to stay but room for improvement.

This is a clean, comfortable motel. It has a parking space. There's no outstanding aspects of the place, no spa, no pool, no food services..BUT, its in a great location. Reasonably affordable. All about location.

Nice place in Chinatown. Clean room, quiet, comfortable and refrigerator in room to chill our leftover Chinese food, and in the morning the office microwaved it to make hot! We have been here before and hope to come back.
