Big shout out to Sean, who's always helpful and kind, thank you! The room was clean and so were the bathrooms. There was a mean dog on the elevator, I had to take the stairs and I'm elderly and use a cane.

Stay far away from this place. The location is great, but the big cockroach on the floor that greeted me was not. I am sure that this is a city-sponsored hotel for the homeless that they launched during COVID to get the homeless off the street. This hotel smells, unsanitary looking, and I did not sleep; I just sat up all night until I could check out. I was not able to get a refund on the second night, but I did not care. I was just happy to make it through the night without getting bedbugs

Patricia n Elizabeth were very friendly n helpful. Place was cleanly kept. It’s conveniently located. I value t history of t place, how it used to be dirty road outside per Patricia. It’s cool that it’s across t street from Zoetrope!

Do not stay here!! I am a cheap motel solo traveler. My standards are not high! I always stay in hostels, sleep pods, and cheap motels. When I say this was the worst place I have ever stayed, that says a lot. I felt disgusting every second I was in my room. It smelled super musty and a mouse scurried across my floor. I saw dead bed bugs underneath the towels when I picked them up. The shared bathrooms on floor 3 didn’t have toilet paper all day. Luckily I had napkins. The room does not have AC. I guess the place has tenants and short term renters. Several older men sitting in the lobby every time I went down. Not a bad thing, just be aware I think people live here as well. I saw some bad reviews and thought it couldn’t be that bad. I’ve stayed in places with bad reviews all the time, but this was awful. Only positive was the location.

DO NOT STAY! BED BUGS!! This place is nasty! It smelled horrible, the rooms were disgusting. I went and bought my own sheets because the ones they had were covered in stains. I later found a bed bug crawling on me in which I brought to the front desk. They immediately killed it and now are refusing a refund because they claim there was nothing found on inspection.
