Two night stay- property was great, but be aware it’s a block or two from a rough part of town. Good security though and inside parking. EV charging too.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you value your sleep. Stayed here last weekend before a long drive and I did not get a wink of sleep AT ALL. Place was filled with drunk party kids who have no regard for others (screaming in the hallway, banging their doors til 4am). Parking is free but very sucky (cramped and no in and out privileges after 9pm). Front desk was always locked and they had to buzz you in everytime even during the morning of checkout (goes to show the employees are afraid of the area). Surrounded by homeless people on all corners. Room was fine, looks like the pictures but overall sketchy area. This is the second time we stayed here (booked way in advance and they were nonrefundable, but if the room was refunded, would not have stayed a second time. That being said, we would not stay here again. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD.

I loved how clean this hotel was and the free continental breakfast. Was also very happy with how helpful, nice, and accomodating the staff was. I was very happy that the entire time my friend and I stayed here, we were able to keep our car parked in their parking garage and how safe it was. (It was so hard trying to find a hotel that has free, onsite covered parking that is secured.) I wouldn't mind staying at this hotel again if I decide to book a hotel room in San Francisco again. My only gripes were stressing out about checking out on time because there was only 1 elevator available and it was kind of slow. My other gripe was that Expedia, it said breakfast was 7am to 10am, but upon checking in, the front desk receptionist advised that breakfast was only from 7am to 9am. Other than that, would definitely come back here.

Property is first come first serve for the parking, so luckily we arrived in time.

The room was very nice and clean, but the street noise was very loud, sirens and trucks all times of day. Also, I chose this property because it advertised EV charging, but their charger was not up and running.

The hotel itself was good for the price. They have underground parking which was nice. The property is gated and the gate closes at 11pm. If you return after that, you have to call the front desk for them to open it.

This hotel did the job of what we needed - somewhere to sleep & shower. The shower we did have did not feel clean on the bottom and recommend the property management to reroute the showers as some shower mold is present. The room was clean and tidy but the doors to our room and others do not have easy close fixtures so the doors slam and it’s very noisey if you are on the first floor. Highly recommend higher floor. The staff is AMAZING though. Must say they were attentive and resolved any issue I came across. 10/10 to the morning and night staff. Parking was fantastic and sooo thankful and the real reason we booked here.

A great little gem within walking distance from lots of places. The night manager and the day manager both of are fantastic & helpful. Great room size and breakfast. The only thing I found unpleasant was bloodstained blanket. I know it's tough to control everything but it should not be unnoticed given the size of it.

Too dirty and noisy

Nothing wrong with the hotel itself, but the surroundings were horrendous. I've only got myself to blame for booking a stay right in the midst of the infamous Tenderloin, but still the room reeks of dog pile or marijuana, crazy people shouting in the midnight, police raids and sirens going on seemingly forever, and the safety around is also of great concern. Again, nothing wrong with the hotel, the staff were great people, the room was tidy and clean (except for the smell). Would have been a perfect stay for a business trip.

Title: Worst Hotel Experience – Stay Away! I am beyond frustrated with my recent stay at this hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. From the moment we entered the room, we were hit with an awful, unbearable smell. It was as if the room hadn’t been cleaned properly in months. Naturally, we immediately contacted the front desk, hoping for assistance or a room change. Instead, we were met with shocking indifference. The front desk staff initially brushed off our concern, claiming “all rooms have the same smell, and it’s not an issue.” When I escalated the matter to the manager, I was told, quite rudely, that the booking was non-refundable, and nothing could be done. Their exact words were, “You can do whatever you want.” I was absolutely floored by their complete lack of customer service and empathy. We couldn’t bear to stay in such disgusting conditions and ended up checking out three nights earlier than planned, effectively wasting the money we paid for those nights. The management made no effort to make things right or even apologize for the inconvenience. This hotel is a disgrace, and I would advise anyone reading this to stay far away. Between the unsanitary rooms, the rude staff, and the complete lack of accountability, this was easily the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else!

The property itself was very good. The immediate surroundings had multiple vagrants around it however. The staff was very good. Overall cleanliness was very good but unfortunately we found what appeared an old blood stain on the bedsheet of the lower part of the bed. We got in late and we’re too tired to deal with it so we just put a towel over the stain and went to bed. I notified the staff in the morning. I would stay here again but unfortunately my wife would not.

The room was okay, free parking and free breakfast was a hit but the area wasn’t that great. The bathroom had black hair all over like it wasn’t cleaned after the last people. The area was a little sketchy behind the hotel was an alley where there were homeless. Overall the room was good, bed was comfortable. But the area was great location for the great American music hall.

Staff is super friendly and rooms were clean. However, the TV was not responding to remote and staff tried to change the remote but it still didn't work.

Street noise was unbearable sirens every ten minutes no sleep all night

I've stayed here numerous times over the years . Great staff , great location , lots of exciting street life/drama to watch after hours lol . BUT this time I was given an ally facing view (ie no view at all) and NO curtains on the huge windows ! There was wooden shutters that when closed tightly blocked maybe 60% of the sunlight that pours in a 7am ! I'm used to sleeping in until at least 11am so that first morning was a real shocker lol . Just a heads up : bring a nice big thick dark blanket (and tape) to hang in front of the windows and your stay will be awesome .

Nice hotel with free parking, room was clean and seemed newly renovated, breakfast was pretty good, but the mattress was AWFUL, basically a piece of plywood with a sheet on it. The shower also did not seal at the bottom of the door and all but flooded the bathroom with water every time someone took a shower.

Room was nice! Only minor things like the remote not working and vending machine not accepting cash so we could get water. The location is next to a busy street, so be prepared to hear cars driving by.

Good location in the sense that it is close to a lot of restaurants restaurants. The rooms are just as pictured. Clean rooms. Staff was very hopeful and friendly.Only downside is that it is on the corner of an intersection so some cars can be a little loud.

The only downside was the beds and hallway acoustics. The beds were not very comfortable and hallways made everything out in the hallway sound amplified. The room was clean and the hotel was located near several good places to eat. If I were to choose this hotel again I'd bring earplugs and my own pillow.

Everything was great inside the room but the area and noise level outside kept me up or woke me up in the middle of the night. I was on vacation and had to come home to finally get some sleep.

The inn is beautiful and staff was very helpful. Even when expedia messed up and didn't complete the process of letting them know i had purchased a room they were able to help me.

Pros: I loved the cleanliness of the room, modern and pleasant. I enjoyed the breakfast & the coffee machine with lattes. I also enjoyed the shampoo and body wash in a pump rather than microscopic tiny jars. That was a big plus for me. Cons: The front desk staff was not very welcoming. They seemed annoyed whenever i had a question. No security guard at night. And parking was a bit tricky. Would i stay again? Yes.

I don't often write reviews, and admittedly only write negative ones, but I'm making an exception in this case. I liked this hotel. The room was clean, and spacious, and the front desk staff was always nice and helpful. I'll give the breakfast five stars for free breakfasts. I know there are a lot of negative reviews about the homeless people on the streets, and there certainly are, but walking to restaurants, I was never bothered for handouts or anything else. I hate to waste food, so I carried my leftover out and certainly always found a willing recipient. Would definitely stay here again. Can't beat the price, especially with the parking included.

The staff was rude, offensive. The front desk woman had a smile on her face as she was canceling my 5 day reservation after being in the room all of 5mins..because "they don't accept the $250- deposit on a paypal or chime visa card." Even though it ran and had over $500- pre-loaded on the card. From the begining her & the hotel manager were rude. After working at Whydham Worldwide for a decade & my wife for Disney for 20+yrs... none of this would have happened if at any of their properties. They even charged me for 1 night even though they cancelled my reservation.

Like closness to Union Square and Other visitors places. Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast items are good. Free parking which is big money saver. Do not like area with lot of homeless people which is true for San Francisco. Overall good place to visitors who wants to just park their car safely and take Uber/Lift /Wyemo to go.

Fast easy check in. Clean room. The surrounding area is dirty and lots of homeless people.

Hotel itself is great. It's just located in a very questionable part of town. We saw many drugs being used on the streets around the hotel, but felt safe enough to walk to and from the hotel to nearby establishments.

Great stay and there are so many places around here that are good. The little bakery at the end of the block is so good! This was great walking distance to Bill Graham Civic Center and we can’t wait to stay again.

It’s in the tenderloin neighborhood which is in the process of cleanup. There are homeless around during the night. Police move them out in the morning. We felt very safe which our car and all around the hotel. The hotel was recently renovated. Friendly staff. We would stay there again

The place is clean, organized, the staff's attention is good. You have to park your car plus traditional breakfast. In my room a little noise from the air conditioning. On Eddy Street a lot of noise from homeless people and ambulances.

Property is fine and safe. Neighborhood adjacent to the property is dicey. We used an uber to get to and from and availed walking around the close neighborhood. Four blocks away are many fun restaurants, bars etc. in Hayes valley.

Loved free parking room was nice . There are a lot of homeless people around.

Good motel near the government buildings. Breakfast wasn't great, but adequate. Good coffee. Overall, fine for a motel.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and looked really nice, which was a big plus. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast had a lot of options, so that was great too. Parking was secure, which made me feel better about leaving my car there. Overall, a very nice place to stay and would highly recommend!

Great property so close to everything! The staff were so kind and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodate our needs. You can tell they really care about their guests. The breakfast was great - eggs, sausage, waffle maker, yogurt, etc. Room was very clean
