Check in was supposed to be at 3:00pm. We arrived at 3:20 and had to wait another 40 minutes. Once in the room there were a lot of noticeable stains on the walls, carpet and pullout couch. Kids tried to go swimming during open pool ours, but it was closed for cleaning. The next day we tried to go again but the water was cloudy. Breakfast was not very good but we made do.

Property and staff were fine, hot breakfast was great. My vehicle and 9 others getting broken into in one night and no one heard anything? Found they have no cameras in parking area, I have been to STL at least twice a year for many years and never had a problem, first time in Hazelwood-wont be going back sadly.

The bathroom had pubic hair on the floor. Urine on the floor next to toilet. The pool was DISGUSTING. Had black hair matted and floating in the water. The water stunk.

Only thing that was bad, was the fact of the pool being closed for maintenance. My kids were definitely disappointed, due to that being the main reason staying there!!!

Pool was out of order, That was the only reason we booked the hotel. Arrived at 8pm so it was too late to cancel and go some where else. We had a double queen room with pullout couch. The room was dirty, the bathroom had places in the wall that were broken, the pullout couch was broken and no sheets. I talked to the front desk about a different room, they were unable to change rooms for us. The hotel is noisy you could hear people above and in the hallways. Will sleep in my car next time.

If you usually stay in a Marriott or a Hilton property this will not be up to your standards. The floor in the room had a film on it--could not walk barefoot for fear of getting feet dirty, but then my socks go extremely dirty. The smell wasn't good. Furniture had stains. Walls were thin. However, it wasn't awful and the neighbors weren't loud. The breakfast was good. Had one free charging station and was able to use it. No issues with vehicles. The interior security bar lock on the door was inoperable. The other hotels were so ridiculously expensive we stayed here for much less, but you get what you pay for.

The carpets were stained. Mold in the bathroom and along tile grout. The entry light didn’t work, the lamp was plugged in but broke. AC was set at 65 but never got cold. Breakfast was fine. Had eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, cereal and fruit.

Upon check-in, the staff at the counter was satisfactory. We got to our room and discovered the toilet did not flush. I called down to the front desk several times but got a busy signal each time. My husband was able to fix it by turning on the valve. Then a large cockroach crawled out from the tub drain. I didn't sleep well for fear of having bugs crawling on me and they provided no extra linen for the pullout bed. We decided to pass on the breakfast provided in the morning. I refuse to eat where there is an infestation. Finally, i almost stepped in vomit on my way to my car. Will never return or recommend this hotel.

Our room had not been cleaned properly. The bathroom mirror had old splatter on it. The toilet wouldn’t stop running every time we flushed it unless we took the lid off the tank and fixed it. The floors looked as if they hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in a very long time and the desk area had crumbs on it which means it was never wiped down after the previous guests. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and nice.

Everything was great besides our room. Broken phone so not able to order any toiletries. Broken pieces in the tub area as well as poor plumbing so you stand in ankle deep water. Thin walls which was a first for me, so hear noises all night and was hard to sleep. Staff was great and check in was easy but probably won’t stay again.

Window boarded up in front of the hotel seemed sketchy. Was given keys for two different rooms as upon entry they were both dirty. After the 3rd room. The hallway smelled of weed upon entering and people were angry, arguing and slamming doors in the room next door.

Upon arrival we were informed the internet was down. We’re unable to give us keys to our room so let us in. No wifi or cable the entire stay. Booked a family room with bunk beds for kids, blankets were see through and children were freezing. Breakfast was ok for continental. Other than this the stay was good beds were comfortable and shower and bathroom were clean.

TV was broken. Reported it and no one cared. Person at the front desk said nothing could be done because the motel was full. Noisy. No internet. Heard other tvs that were working. Lack of staffing. Rooms were dirty Carpet is nasty. Will not be booking here again.

Hotel doors were locked upon our arrival and no one was at the front desk to check us in. No one answered the phone and Best Western customer service couldn’t get ahold of any hotel staff. Waited outside in our car for half an hour until a staff member was taking out the trash and we were able to tell them we had a reservation and were let inside. Not sure why no one was around to answer hotel phones, the front door buzzer, or let in paying customers? No apologies were given despite getting to our room an hour after arriving and waiting around.

Terrible check in process. Was told they had my booking and I had paid, but Expedia did not pay them so I could not get into my room. Took 30 minutes with unclear reason as to why it was solved. Staff was not helpful. I had 3 young kids waiting to get in a room. Room was then dirty and air did not work well. Breakfast staff was amazing. So helpful and nice.

So I get there a little after 11. The receptionists walked out right then and I had to be checked in by this kiosk where I was talking to a lady from California. Folks, 11 is no late hour! Can’t you keep the receptionist there longer? Also, if they see I am here, couldn’t they stick around for one more customer. Someone in California can’t tell me where the elevators are, for example. Neither can they sell me a water from the fridge. It is truly absurd that a place has the money to outsource check in to a machine yet doesn’t even have a vending machine there in the lobby! All I saw was a fridge from which it required a person on site to sell you the water, Coke, or other drink! Truly hilarious. I just went to bed. Quality Inn down the street has a real, live wiggling person for a receptionist. I don’t give a smash if he has an Indian accent…..

It was clean, quiet, and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was good with different selections. Our room was spacious had a microwave, refrigerator and a small dining table with chairs. We also had a pull out sofa bed in addition To our king bed. There was a shooting across the street at another hotel the last night of our stay. Our hotel had a security guad on duty and he was making regular rounds to ensure our safty so we felt safe. There aren't any places to eat in the immediate area around the hotel, but there are places a short drive away (5 min). to our king bed.

A few things that need to be improved. There were only just 3 pillows total for my friend & me to use. We each needed 3. But we were unable to have that many for the both of us that first night during our stay. And there wasn’t an extra chair to sit on in our room. We could only sit on our bed. There was a desk chair but we wanted an extra chair to sit on too. And 1 more thing. We were unable to park in the handicapped parking spot because they were blocked off with cones during our stay because of some painting or construction, I guess. But there didn’t seem to be any kind of work that was actually being done there that had called for the handicapped spaces to be blocked. Nobody was working there during our stay there. So I don’t know why those handicapped parking spots were blocked off when we had really needed them. We did enjoy the free breakfast that was provided, tho. It was really great! And the hotel staff was very accommodating & very helpful.

When we first arrived, check in was really very slow and my reservation was incorrect, but Terrell on the front desk worked to fix it. There was a strong smell of marijuana on the 2nd and 3rd floors in the hallways, but the staff took care of that, as well. They were very attentive to our concerns during our stay. Don't expect your room to be cleaned daily or to have any scenic views. This is not that kind of hotel, so you get what you pay for. My primary complaint is regarding the breakfast bar. It is not well-maintained or restocked unless you ask someone to refresh it. It ran out of plates, waffle mix and other items that did not get replenished. While it was suitable for the price and close to my intended destination, I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Our room was clean, but our room for 5 people only included 2 towels and no bedding for the pull out couch. Breakfast assortment was good but food ran out and was not replaced in a timely manner so several people had to do without. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall pretty good and I would stay here again.
