Clean room, great staff! Love it here, but DO NOT stay on the 17th floor. It is under the 24hr gym and the 2 HUGE suites, that seem to party all noght long, lol. Not fun to wake up all the time because of that! Last year we were on the 14th floor and it was amazing! Pool table, shuffleboard, great bar/restaurant! Beautiful place!

I booked this hotel because we drove to STL for an event that didn’t end until midnight. I booked the room solely to get some much-needed rest afterward. Unfortunately, that was the one thing we didn’t get. We arrived before the event to check in and had to temporarily park in a no-parking zone just to unload. The only parking directly in front was valet, so we chose self-parking for $40 rather than pay another $15 for valet. The garage was 0.3 miles away and honestly wasn’t bad—a short walk through a park, and it’s attached to Schnucks, which was convenient. When we got to the room around 1–1:30 a.m., there was an almond on the floor next to the bed, so I can’t vouch for how thoroughly the room was cleaned. We went to sleep around 2 a.m., expecting to sleep until 9 or 10. Nope. We were on the 18th floor, directly next to the fitness center. Starting around 6 a.m., we were woken by constant banging from the equipment for hours. I’m not bashing people for using the gym. You paid to stay there and should enjoy the amenities. What I question is why a fitness center is directly next to guest rooms, especially on the top floor. If we could hear it next door, I can only imagine what the rooms below heard. We booked a hotel for peace and quiet after a long night. Instead, we got roughly three hours of sleep. At that point, I would have been better off driving home. Hotels are supposed to be a place to rest, and unfortunately, that was the one thing this stay failed to provide.
