Tremendous location, just a block from edge of downtown Walla Walla. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of coffee and popcorn available, and great common areas for working or lounging. Definitely staying here next time I'm in Walla Walla.

Second time staying here and not disappointed. Rooms are cute and clean ..grounds are tidy and they have secure bike lockers. Staff could not be friendlier and there is unlimited delicious coffee each morning. We will be back!

I loved the vibe and the room BUT PARKING WAS TERRIBLE- both nights I came back at 7 pm and 9 pm and there was no parking. I had to load and unload a lot and not only was the lot offsite dark and distant I also felt unsafe as a single woman. There’s no place near rooms to double park and load/unload - I would think you would have enough parking or provide some compensation for the inconvenience. I would have paid more for a “reserved spot” So next time I wouldn’t stay there if the parking situation was the same.

The Finch was clean, modern and fresh. The property was previously an outdated motel, but now is comfortable, very clean and stylish. The bed and bedding were super comfortable, the staff was more than accommodating and friendly, and we loved the little extras like fresh popcorn, great coffee, wine sample at check-in, outdoor games and more. I do wish the air conditioner unit was a bit more quiet, or that each room had a sound machine. But there was no noise from other guests or the neighborhood. We enjoyed the stay in Walla Walla, just a block from delicious restaurants and tasting rooms.

This is the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed in for a while. The remodel is very cute. And the location was perfect for walking to grab breakfast or dinner with lots of options downtown.

The Finch is a nice property just in downtown Walla Walla. I enjoyed my stay there. The only issue I had was cleanliness. When I arrived there was a long hair in the shower. There were also stains on the carpet near the TV.

Clean, cute, spacious. Fun artsy decor. A bit of a dark room experience on the bottom floor. If you prefer light / brightness in your hotel room, be sure to be on second floor. Otherwise the main hotel room window faces a courtyard which gets little light.

Wow, this place is a gem! Great location with short walk to popular places to eat and drink, and to Whitman campus. There's also a Safeway across the street if you need groceries or pharmacy. The rooms were great! We were in two different ones--the Micro Queen was definitely a bit tight--not a lot of space for luggage and the only place to sit is on the bed. The Finch King was very spacious. Both rooms had barn doors on the bathroom, which means you won't have complete privacy if you're rooming with someone--those doors don't really "close" all the way. Otherwise, everything was awesome--comfortable beds, lovely, quiet property, and the free coffee/tea was a nice perk. Super friendly desk staff with lots of recommendations for places to check out--the people who work there really made our stay fun and we felt very well taken care of. :-)

Our stay was good at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and there are many food options to choose from. The location of the hotel is the best part. It’s was clean and parking was easy. Our only complaints would be the window by the sink facing east. The sun rises and it lets a lot of light into the room that shines right on your face even with the blind, so we were awake a lot earlier than we had wanted. The other thing that wasn’t our favorite was the sliding barn door to the bathroom. It doesn’t give the privacy a person would expect when using the toilet. We would not let this detour us from staying again, we would just request a room that is on the opposite side of the building we stayed on to avoid the early morning sun. All in all, it was recommended to us from a friend, and we would do the same if someone asked.

The AC was so LOUD. I tried to turn up the thermostat to 74 but when I got back from a walk downtown my room was 51! Eeeks! Freeze me out. I had to turn it off at bedtime.

We locked our bikes up on the property and had many things (including seats!) stolen off them. If it's not safe to lock up bikes, then there should be a sign. The staff was not overly friendly; felt like we were an imposition.

During the check-in 8/3 early afternoon (around 130-2p), the front desk person was not quite attentive. Also asking $1 to pay (not a deposit?) via credit card, which I find weird because I specifically asked if it was a deposit but his answer was no.

I booked a king size room for a two night pre Thanksgiving getaway and while the hotel is conveniently located in downtown walla Walla the property sits at a very busy intersection and vehicles accelerating out of the intersection were extremely loud and obnoxious. At all hours. The hotel didn’t appear to be busy so I let the desk know we were not comfortable with the noise but didn’t offer to move us. I won’t stay there again.

I have stayed here several times and will most likely stay again. But there are two things that bothers me about this place, and have mentioned them before. There is no coffee machine in the room. So if you like coffee in the morning you need to get presentable and go to the lobby to get it. Then only paper cups. The water "glasses" in the room are durable, but no environmental commitment on the cups. There is also no way to heat water in the room. NO microwave. So you can't even bring your own tools to make it. You have a fridge though. Have yet to figure out what to use that for. All in all, it is a good place but they could do better, but choose not to.

The Finch offers a boutique hotel experience at an affordable price. The rooms are small, but offer everything you need. The location is wonderful. Restaurants, grocery store, bookstores, wineries are all within blocks. The lobby offers complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and popcorn. Staff is friendly and helpful. A great Walla Walla choice.

Welcomed with a splash of their winery of the.month. Great welcome. It is very close to many dining establishments and Main street. Wine Wednesday was a wonderful tasting of their other month of July showcase. Loved this! Upstairs there were plenty of fun games, downstairs there was popcorn. Great hospitality.
